She cuddled close, already starting to feel better.

Lillian scowled internally, not a great idea. She now had a cautious smile on, "Isn't it too cold out?"
"They make jackets and if you're running around, you aren't that cold. Football player play in the cold all the time,"
She cuddled close, already starting to feel better.
He moved away from her to lay on the couch horizontally the way he was so fond of and he once again put his arms out for her, "Hey, you should come here,"
Lillian sighed, her point wasn't getting across. She just nodded along, "Okay, you boys have fun."
She chuckled lightly, laying down in his arms. "Gladly." She looked up at him with a smile, this was nice.

"You're not gonna come with?"
"I'll watch, but don't expect me to play."

"Merry Christmas, Beauty," he preferred Christmas to be relaxed anyways.
"I'll watch, but don't expect me to play."
"Why not," he nudged her a bit, "It'll be fun,"
"Merry Christmas, Beast." She kissed his nose lightly. At least she was spending the day with someone she loved.

"Do you have plans? Things that you want to do for Christmas?"
Lillian scowled, "I don't know how to play."
Lillian scowled, "I don't know how to play."
"I could… teach you,"
Lillian let out a long sigh, "Fine."
"Yes!" He hopped up, the thought of football had given him a false sense of energy. He ignored the foggy-brained feeling and ran to the door, Neal and Cooper following behind like a heard of oversized kids.
"Not really, although I do have a little something." She pulled out her sketchbook and flipped to a certain page. "It's not much, but it's something." She gave him the book, revealing a picture she'd been working on for about a month now. A simple image of them on their wedding day, stood at the altar, hand in hand, in a perfect harmony. She smiled shyly, she just hoped he'd like it.
He touched it gently and smiled as he stared into it like it was playing a video. A memory or a dream maybe, "It's beautiful."
Lillian laughed and followed after, walking. She was laughing and shaking her head the entire time.
Dominic was running with them but Neal's wife and daughter decided to hang back with Lillian.
"It's not perfect but I tried my best with a new style." It had more sketch elements than most of her other pictures since she didn't know what the future would look like so it was more like a rough draft.
Lillian let out a sigh and looked to Neal's wife, "Boys."

"No babe, it is perfect," he looked at her with an almost broken smile, "You're perfect,"
Lillian let out a sigh and looked to Neal's wife, "Boys."
"I know right. They never really grow up, do they?"
"Never," Lillian laughed, "Then again can we really expect them too?"
"Never," Lillian laughed, "Then again can we really expect them too?"
"Well, every once and awhile they can take serious things the way they should and all three of those boys have huge hearts whether they'll admit it or not. But they're also just big children,"

"If I'm perfect, then so are you." She smiled softly, proud of herself for making something he liked.
"I would argue that they are ginormous children, but yeah. They're all have such kind hearts." And they really deserve a break like this.
He responded with no words but rather just deciding to kiss her.

Darren was waiting patiently to pick teams until everyone was out but you could see the way he bounces in place with excitement.
He responded with no words but rather just deciding to kiss her.
This was how she had always wished to spend her Christmas. With someone she loved and who would treat her like a person unlike how her own family had after her sister died.
