"Traitors, both of them," Lillian laughed.

She finally had him smiling again, not so focused on his father who was drawing nearer.

Lillian had a mental note about his father, but tried to keep Darren happy. That's how anyone should feel on Christmas, hell even her parents used to give her break on this day. She never got any actual presents, she guessed the whole 'I won't hit you' thing was the present.

His dad decided when he'd behave but Christmas is when he missed Darren's mom the most.

Lillian looked up at Darren smiling. She was trying to infect him with her happiness.

It was working, she always made him happy. "I love you,"

"I love you too," Lillian giggled a little.

"Late summer, after our trip to la Riviera. C'était très beau," she said with a sigh.

“So recently huh?”

"Yes. Have you ever been to France?" Fleur asked, toying with a piece of her hair.

Her unconsciousness swam in her eyes, making her dizzy. She didn't fight it, just stayed dead to the world.

“I can’t give her medication if she’s not awake,” Neal wife sighed.
“I know,” Ryan continued to shake her lightly as he whispered to her, occasionally kissing her face. “Wake up Belle.”

The dizziness faded and her eyes fluttered open. "Hmm? What happened?"

“Let’s Just say if you keep passing out I’m going to have to change our fairly tale from Beauty And The Beast to Sleeping Beauty,”
