"Nah I'm good. Eggnog isn't my thing." She shrugged.
"Nah I'm good. Eggnog isn't my thing." She shrugged.
“Okay. I’ll be back, eggnog is calling my name.”
"Don't die!"
“Make me,” he teased.
"Not sure how to do that. Fine, if you die, don't come crying to me."
He stuck his tongue out playfully and disappeared around the corner. He was met by Neal and a tall man with his back turned to Ryan who he immediately recognized as Jon Anderson.
(And Fleur breathed…)
Darren put his arm around Lillian. “What should we do about grumpy over there,” he nodded to Cooper, still sitting on the couch like a grump.
Lillian thought for a second. She looked at Cooper because he was being a Grinch, "I'm not sure."
“That’s funny,” he sat down next to Coop and poked his arm, “You’re a mean one…”
“Darren Stop,”
Darren did not stop. “Mr. Grinch,”
Lillian laughed as she sat next Darren. She continued on with the song, (And I don't have access to the lyrics and I don't want to be wrong so yeah.)
Cooper groaned. “What do you two want from me?”
"To not be a grinch," Lillian smiled at him trying to send him the message.
“You want me to be happy?”
"Yeah," Lillian nodded.
“Sorry. It’s just a little hard,” Cooper sighed as he pried his eyes away from Belle to look at them.
She leaned against the wall, twirling her hair around her finger, just looking around slowly.
Ryan skipped back in, "Darren's dad is here…"
Fleur hesitantly knocked on the door. Is this the right address? What if they aren't home?
Darren hopped up, "Okay, Grinch, I'll be back," he laughed at Cooper at he ran to the door, "He– Oh hey Fleur, what's up?"
Lillian laughed a little, "Just try to be happy. At least look like it."
Fleur smiled. "Hi, Darren. You left this at the hotel," she said, extending a jacket out towards him.
Cooper put on a very clearly fake smile. "Better?"
Lillian smiled a little, "Yeah."
Fleur smiled. "Hi, Darren. You left this at the hotel," she said, extending a jacket out towards him.
He laughed, "Wow, I'm forgetful. Thanks. Do you have somewhere to go for Christmas, I feel bad that you had to come all this way just for my jacket,"
Lillian smiled a little, "Yeah."
His smile dropped, "I'm just not really a happy person anymore,"
It was kind of windy, so a blast of air hit Fleur from the side and her hair flew in her face. "It's f-fine," she said, a fragile smile on her face. Her cheeks were very red from the wind.
"No, please come in. We have plenty of food for you to hang with us if you want. Besides," he chuckled, "You look cold,"
Fleur sighed with relief and stepped inside. "Thank you, D-Darren."
"It's not a problem," he laughed, "Do you like hot chocolate? I can get you some and you can go sit… if you want…"
"I would love hot chocolate," Fleur said, taking off her fluffy coat. "Where should I sit?"
