After serving the two pie, Toriel notices Frisk jump a bit. Turning around she sees a short skeleton in a blue hoodie.
"May I help you?" she asks politely.

(okay thank you. sorry i had to go sleep xD)

Chara eyed the skeleton as they sat down with their pie. They nodded a 'thank you' to Toriel before looking back at the skeleton.

Frisk gave Chara a look that said who is he,and what does he want? Then, Frisk looked over at the bookshelf and saw various books,such as "72 Uses for Snails", "The Pioneer Goat Cookbook", and many other snail-related books. Then she looked on the floor. "The History of the Underground". Frisk was tempted to read it,but decided to go to the bookshelf and pick "The Official Snail Identification Guide".

Sans grins, knowing that this is the lady behind the door. "What? Can't an old bone-bag just come to say hi? Someone got your goat?" Hands in his pockets, he leans against the doorframe.

Frisk looks from the skeleton to Toriel,wondering how she will react. Then,Frisk looks to Chara again,wondering how to handle the situation. Frisk simply stares at the image of a Cornu Aspersum in the book,hoping that the skeleton wouldn't talk to her.

ok :) As I said,I refer to them as a girl,like,a tomboy? Does anyone else have a preference?

Frisk looks from the skeleton to Toriel,wondering how she will react. Then,Frisk looks to Chara again,wondering how to handle the situation. Frisk simply stares at the image of a Cornu Aspersum in the book,hoping that the skeleton wouldn't talk to her.

"Uhh… what do you want, skeleton?" Chara asked briskly as she continued to eat the pie. Chara promptly ignored them, spotting what Frisk was reading. "Who's that?" She asked, pointing at the picture.

She mouthed It's a snail to Chara,then began to snarf down her pie,to avoid conversation with this strange guest.

Chara looked at Frisk like she was crazy. "Why are you looking at pictures of snails?!" She seemed genuinely distraught. "Nevermind, I don't wanna know." Chara shook her head slightly before finishing off her pie.

Frisk finished off her pie,staring at the book because she genuinly didn't want to interact with the skeleton,or even Chara,until she knew more about them. She was new to this strange world,and already was beginning to feel uncomfortable. Frisk was naturally an introvert (except with friends),and didn't really feel that she was ready to take on any new people at the moment.

Toriel suddenly snorted, laughing at the pun.
"It's you! It is so nice to be able to see you in person," she said, smiling at Sans.
"You sure know how to tickle someone's funny bone," Toriel added.

Frisk looks from Toriel to Chara with a look that said Wait,this guy isn't a stranger?,then finally whispered to Chara "Who is this guy?"

"No clue" Chara whispered back, concerned. "Mother, who is this….?"

Grinning, Sans looks at them. "Names Sans, Sans the skeleton. You're humans, aren't you? That's hilarious."

Frisk's eyes darted around,wondering what to do. She looked at Toriel,and then decided to continue sticking her nose in the book until she found a solution.

Toriel smiles, happy to be able to be able to put a face to the voice who told jokes at the Ruins' door.
"Apologies for being late, I had to make sure these two were alright. While you're here, would you like some pie as well?" she offered.

Grinning he sits. "Ain't no skin off my back, Tori. It's the yeast I can do if I'm here an all."

Chara snorts before turning her head away and between her chuckles, she choked out, "Oh. My. God. No…" After she conquered her laughing fit, she looked back up at Toriel. "Where did you find this… comedian?"

Toriel laughed again, the puns hard for her not to laugh at. Coming out the kitchen with another slice of pie, she handed it to Sans.
"Well, he came to me first. I was by the door at the end of the Ruins, when I heard someone practicing his knock knock jokes," she explained, sitting on the floor next to Chara.
"It was quite hard to resist joining in on. Plus, they were quite humerus," she finished, adding in a pun.

"Ughh…. you too now huh?" Chara grumbled, covering her light snickers of laughter.

Wrapping Chara in a light hug, Toriel chuckled, able to hear their muffled giggles.

Frisk leaned forward on the arm of the large chair,listening to the light giggles of Chara and Toriel.

Sans takes a bite. "Tibia honest, this is really good. Food for the SOUL."

Laughing lightly, Toriel responds, "Thank you. Pie am happy you enjoy it!"

"Uuuuggggghhhhhh……" Chara groaned and slid from her seat and onto the floor.
