Tseth: He barely pays attention to Rhiv, staring at the rushing water of the river. It was hard to tell his facial expression— Neutral? Scared? Concerned? Perhaps a mix of all of those. Nonetheless, he moves closer to the river.
Ater: He accepts Resh’s hand, seemingly content around him now. He purrs a little as Resh pets him.
Alex: He tilts his head at Resh. “Get cut often?”
Resh: He continues petting Ater, tilting his head. “Yep. I fidget a lot, and usually I'll start fidgeting with one of my knives- which is obviously not a great idea, but it hasn’t killed me yet. It’s gotten pretty close, though.“
Rhiv: this is something he could get used to. he doesn't particularly like Tseth, and the longer he keeps his mouth shut, the less inclined Rhiv will be to break something. Rhiv turns to the direction Tseth came from. "Anyone else there?"
Salmook: he's busy laying dramatically on the log, sprawled out like a squished bug. he jolts up when he hears a voice in the distance, though. "Juni! That's- Pater! Tseth found Pater!" he starts bouncing like crazy, getting himself exhausted all over again.

Tseth: He quickly washes his hands in the river water, staying as far away from it as he can while doing it. Which wasn't very far. When finished he stands up, and immediately returns to the edge of the treeline to wait for the others.
Alex: He nods, listening. He removes he cloth from his hand, and the cut has stopped bleeding. He picks up the knife again and starts finishing up sharpening the sticks.
(Quick question what’s a springle)
Juni: She blinks a few times at Salmook. “Oh- yeah, that’s him. I guess- Don’t bounce around too much, you’ll tire yourself out again.”
(apparently, it's either a spring-based trap for animals or a five nights at freddys springtrap/mangle ship-)

Salmook: he stops bouncing, but is still visibly excited. "Pa-ter!! We're coming!!" he hops off the log and power-walks in the direction Tseth went. it's not quite running, so hopefully he doesn't get as tired.
Rhiv: he takes note of Tseth's aversion to the river. that could be useful. maybe next time Tseth starts to mouth off, some water to the face could help. just a suggestion. Rhiv sighs when he hears Salmook's voice. damn it. he relaxes his shoulders and waits.

Alex: He stands up and goes over to the dead deer, and then crouches over it. He’s going to cut some of the meat from the deer, and then it can be cooked.
Resh: He’s now completely distracted by Ater, scratching him behind his ears a bit.
Juni: She sighs and starts following Salmook, a little nervous about running into Rhiv again.
Parvus: He suddenly jumps from a tree onto Tseth’s shoulder, chittering.
(I definitely didn’t forget about Parvus so I will now say that he ran off somewhere and hope that I’m correct)
Salmook: he comes barreling out of the woods and slams into Rhiv's midriff. that seems to be a common thing with these two. "Pater!" he pulls his pater into a tight hug.
Rhiv: OW. he reaches to push Salmook away, but he's pulled into a surprisingly strong hug instead. "Kid, you need to stop doing that. One of these days you'll break something." Rhiv pushes Salmook off of him and takes a moment to crack his own back. he'd been hoping for a bit more time away from the kid, honestly. oh well.
Tseth: He flares his wings out slightly, startled out of his thoughts by Parvus. “Ack- hello again.”
Ater: He stands up and climbs into Resh’s lap, curling up.

Parvus: He nudges Tseth with his snout and flares out his wings.
Juni: She watches Rhiv and Salmook, staying relatively hidden behind a tree.
Resh: He looks down at Ater, slightly startled. “…Aw-“
(Resh is getting accepted by cat within a day-ish and Alex over there knowing the cat for ~8 years and he still hates him)
Salmook: he narrows his eyes at Rhiv, tapping his foot. "You said you got mauled!"
Rhiv: he crosses his arms and looks away. "I was planning on it." he turns back to Salmook. "Didn't want you to get your hopes up in case I did."

Tseth: He holds his hand up to Parvus for him to climb on.
Alex: He looks over at Resh and Ater from the deer and tilts his head, but doesn’t say anything.
