Ariella trudged back to his room. She opened the door, slipping inside, before shutting it behind her. "Amyntas?" She called out. "Why did you leave?"

Amyntas was at his desk, rearranging things. He ignores her, silent.

Ariella sighed and came to walk to his sighed. She put the plate on top of his things. "Eat."

His eye twitches slightly. He sets the plate on another table and continues what he was doing.

Ella took the plate and placed it back in front of him. "Eat. Now. You are not a child. You should not have to be told to eat."

He growls, “I need to clean this up…quit it.” He sets the plate back on the other table and starts sorting papers.

Ariella simply put the plate back on top of it. "You can sort with that after you've eaten. You need to keep your energy up. So eat." She was making it clear she wasn't going to stop pestering him until he did.

He seemed to grow more and more panicked. “No I can’t do it later! I need to fix it now!” He sets the plate back, then continues fixing everything.

Ariella crouched down next to him, sighing softly. "Amyntas, can you look at me please?"

He doesn’t look at her, seeming to get frustrated when he finds a paper a slightly different shade of white then the other papers.

Ariella gently touched his arm. "Amyntas, please, will you look at me?"

He pulls away from her. “What?! I’m busy!”

Ariella lifted her hand from his arm. "Will you let me help you?"

He shakes his head. “No! I don’t need your help!”

"Okay, then what do you need?" Ariella asked. "I'm not leaving this room, tell me how I can help."

“I don’t need anything from you!” He started yelling now, “Leave me alone!!”

Ariella closed her eyes briefly. She took a deep breath. "Okay. I'll be on the bed if you need anything." She stood up, placing the plate out of his way and sat down on the bed, waiting.

He goes back to frantically rearranging his desk, organizing and ‘fixing’ everything. He then wanders to his bookshelf, rearranging everything.

Ariella waited patiently on the bed, watching him work. She was worried about him but she wasn't going to interrupt him.

After a while, he looks around and closes his eyes. He takes a deep breath, then sits down.

Ariella tentatively approached him as he sat down. She took a seat next to him but didn't touch him. She just wanted to be there if he needed her.

Amyntas keeps his eyes closed, taking deep breaths. He takes a moment, then shudders. “S-sorry…but…please just…get out of my room…”

Ariella sighed and bowed her head. "Alright, but please, eat. I need my strong protector to nourish his body." She got ti her feet and left.

Amyntas sighs, pulling his legs up to his chest. No way in hell was he gonna eat, just to sicken himself and loose any of the food. He closes his eyes, quietly sobbing.

Ariella just quietly went ot her room. She wanted to be nearby in case she was needed. She had a maid bring her some literature about curses. There had to be a way out of this.

Amyntas stays there in the seat for the rest of the day, keeping his door blocked so no one could enter. Every now and then, after he’s calmed down a bit, he’d go right back to crying.
