"In my experience, yeah." Lucrezia laughs quietly.
"Do you think you can walk?" she asks.
"In my experience, yeah." Lucrezia laughs quietly.
"Do you think you can walk?" she asks.
"Maybe," Rowan replies. He attempts to lower himself onto the ground, trying to stand.
Almost immediately, his legs buckle beneath him and he leans on Lucrezia for support.
"Sorry," he says quickly, struggling to gain control of his legs. "I think I can do this, but probably not by myself."
Lucrezia nods, smiling.
"Then I'll help." she says, opening the door and stepping in, holding onto both it and Rowan.
"Thank you," Rowan says gratefully. When they walk in, Rowan breathes in deeply, the scent of food intoxicating.
He leans on Lucrezia, his legs already starting to become tired.
(By the way, I'm probably not going to be incredibly active this week so my replies are going to be pretty inconsistent)
Lucrezia chuckles. "It's nothing."
She lets the door close behind them, supporting Rowan as best she could while they go and find a table.
Rowan stares around the building in wonder, following Lucrezia.
He looks at the empty table that they find curiously and sits down, looking at the chairs and table with curiosity.
A waiter comes up and sets down menus written in German.
Lucrezia noda and thanks the waiter, stating in flawed German that they'd order drinks later.
She looks kindly at Rowan. "So. . . I'm assuming you can't read the menu?"
Rowan watches the exchange between the waiter and Lucrezia with great interest, feeling a sense of surprise when he understood a bit of what the waiter said.
He shakes his head, assuming that the 'menu' was the thing in front of him with strange scribbles on it.
"How come you spoke differently with that person?" he asks. "I mean, was that a different…language?" The word came to the front of his mind, even though he didn't know what it was.
"I was telling her we'd order drinks later. And yes, it was a different language." Lucrezia smiles.
She was surprised but happy that Rowan was picking up quickly on words, even if he spoke them hesitantly and with little understanding. It meant she'd have an easier tim eteaching him about society and whatnot.
"So. . . I'm going to guess, probably correctly, you're not exactly familiar with anything about the modern world. Or even the civilisation you used to be a part of, if you ever were a part of one." she states with slight amusement, but mostly curiosity.
Rowan was curious as to what drinks were. He hoped that it was edible; his stomach growled loudly and his cheeks flushed with an emotion he was able to place as embarrassment.
He nodded his head at what Lucrezia said, frowning slightly as he tried to remember. "I was in never-ending darkness before now. It was peaceful and I didn't even notice it, but no, I don't know anything about the world, both past and modern."
(So uh guess who :D)
