Scarlett didn't say anything she just stood there and watched as he spoke utterly confused at to why this was happening to her she watched as he left jumping a bit as the door slammed shut it took her all but ten minutes to get dressed and make herself look presentable and huried downstairs unsure what was to happen to her
Sebastian glanced up at Scarlett, the hunger in the pit of his stomach growing. He needed blood and quickly. He bit his tongue, swallowing his hunger. "Come." He murmured. The servant opened the door, letting both Scarlett and Sebastian out. Sebastian led Scarlett down the road, hooking his arm in hers. The little event was held at a wedding venue. Many vampires were talking amongst themselves or readying the occupants. Tasting the various types of blood was… a special event to say the least. "You must be very good." He scanned around the area. Beautiful foliage and crickets were singing. No one batted an eye toward Sebastian.
Scarlett looked at Sebastian and walked over to him before walking outside with him calmly she looked around at her surrounding where the hell was she? She nodded when he spoke to her because she was unsure what to say and feared that it would be her end if she disrespected him
Sebastian was glad she followed. Another vampire walked up to him, looking Scarlett over. “You’ve brought another delicacy. How adorable.” The vampire smiled, his fangs showing. Sebastian nodded, moving Scarlett along with him. The tasting would start soon and Scarlett would have to be thrown into the showcase. Many vampires lifted their heads as her scent wafted toward them. They stared hungrily as she was unmarked.
Scarlett out of reflex backed away from the vampire and all the others she could see watching her she was terrified to say the least it looked as if there were a hundred vampires here she clung to Sebastian trying to keep calm but to no avail
(I finished my test early)
Sebastian sighed. The girl was pushing his limits. He was already starving as it was. She wasn't helping. A clink of a wine glass noted the event's beginning. People were lined up. Sebastian could only guess each one had interesting blood. A vampire tried to take Scarlett from him and he growled.
(Oh yay! Hope you did well)
Scarlett's attention was brought to the clinking of the wine glass "what exactly is going on here? " she whispered to Sebastian as she looked around the room
(Me too)
Sebastian growled, warning the other vampires to back off. His head was close to Scarlett’s neck, his breath spilling down her neck. “I already told you. It is an event. Vampires taste various types of blood-based on scent.” He was close. His growls came from deep in his chest. Other vampires crept around Scarlett. Sebastian was starving, but he was also being protective. “I am forced to come to these events.”
Scarlett shivered at the feeling of his breath on the back of her neck she nodded and looked at the vampires around here "how are you forced to come here? "
Sebastian wrapped his arms around Scarlett, his gaze laser-focused on the other vampires. “My family is powerful. And some laws punish those who do not feed on this sacred night.” He was almost pushed to his boiling point. The hunger welled into his throat. Another vampire tried to grab Scarlett by the wrist. Sebastian was done with this bullshit. He scratched the other vampire, warding him away. He placed his fangs on Scarlett’s neck, applying pressure to the area before he bit. The sweet blood rushed into his mouth. Finally, a relinquishment from hunger, but at the same time, marking her that told others to fuck off. He let go, his deep-set eyes trained on the others.
Scarlett flinched when a vampire grabbed her wrist she yanked her arm away and looked at them she wasn't at all prepared for what was about to happen next she gasped when Sebastian dug his fangs into her neck she gripped one of the arms which was around her stomach "shit."
Sebastian let go of Scarlett’s neck, watching the blood run down her skin. She'd been marked by a broody vampire and the other’s stared in horror. You never marked a person at these events. He squeezed her hand. “We should go home.”
Her hand covered the bite mark as soon and he moved his head away she looked around the room to see the many horrified faces " why are they staring at us? And what do you mean go..h-home?" She whispered quietly keeping her hand on her neck firmly
Blood dripped from his fangs. "You will find out when we leave." He unhooked his arms from around her, turning his head away from the other vampires as he lead Scarlett away from the event. He had never felt so satisfied. "I hope you know what this means." He murmured as he walked Scarlett home.
Scarlett turned her head once more to look at the other 'people' in the room before Sebastian lead her out side " no… I-i don't I've never had this happen before.. " she said quietly
“Well, I’ve marked you now. So you have no choice but to complete the ritual.” Sebastian hissed. He led Scarlett back to his home, slamming the door, and locking it behind him. He took Scarlett up to his bedroom and slammed that door too. Sebastian looked very concerned. “My-my blood… you need my blood to be bonded.”
"Wait ritual?? What ritual? " she nearly tripped when she was rushed upstairs and into his bedroom, she stepped forward and turned towards him
" what do you mean I need your blood what the hell is happening? "
Sebastian tried to catch his breath. Blood dripped down his mouth. He stared at Scarlett’s neck in extreme hunger. Her blood was something so sweet, he couldn’t get enough. “Yes, chère, bonding. Bonding is a thing. A blood bond.. a thrall.” He coughed. “It has to be done. We have to be linked. I have already done enough damage.”
Her breath hitched when he started to stare at her she stood nervously as if he were going to pounce on her when he got the chance
"A Thrall? Damage….. What do you mean damage?! "
Sebastian shook his head when he realized he was staring at Scarlett’s neck. “I— it is kinda like a servant.” He pressed himself against his bedroom door. “Fulfill anything I need.” He peeled himself away from the door, wandering over to Scarlett. He removed her hand from her neck. “Yes, too much damage. You are now— well, halfway mine.”
She kept quiet but definitely didn't like the idea of being a servant, she jumped when her moved her hand out of the way and looked up at him "half yours? "
Sebastian nodded. “Yes, I already marked you.” He pushed Scarlett down onto his bed, pinning her. “Now you must complete it.” He used his fangs to tear open his arm. He held open Scarlett’s mouth as his blood dripped into it. Sebastian healed when he deemed Scarlett to have her fill. A blood link was special in many ways. He closed her mouth shut and bit into her neck again.
Scarlett yelped when he pushed her on the bed and watched in fear as he tore his arm open and began to panic when he bled into her mouth, she swallowed what was in her mouth after he covered it with his hand and cried out when he bit her once more, "hey what the hell! "
Sebastian pulled her closer to him as he drank concerning amounts of blood. He turned her head to the side so he had more access to her neck. He’d starved himself for three whole days and now he was indulging. He pulled away from Scarlett’s neck. Blood dotted his mouth and dropped from his fangs. He crawled away from Scarlett and curled into a ball on his bed. He’d eaten too much and was sure he accidentally killed the girl.
Scarlett could feel herself slipping into a heavy sleep her body going limp as he moved her body she wasn't wake anymore far from it but she was still breathing
Sebastian lay curled on his bed, wrapping his arms around himself. He had killed before and wasn’t concerned too much about her demise. His stomach hurt. After laying around for a few minutes, he pulled Scarlett’s body up onto the bed. It was early morning. By that time, the vampire was already asleep. He curled in on himself and fell into a dreamless land.
Scarlett didn't even react to Sebastien moving her to the bed she didn't even wake up until a couple hours later she sat up slightly looking around the room she felt shaky and she was still extremely tired she sat up the rest of the way and put a hand to her neck it was tender but she couldn't look at it so she just assumed the bite marks were still there she looked behind her and stared at Sebastian for a moment before quietly slipping off the bed and walking over to the door and tried to see if it was locked
Sebastian slept sweetly. This was the time he seemed the least threatening. The door, however, wasn’t locked. It probably also wasn’t best for Scarlett to leave either. The outside world was now dangerous… and also the fact that Sebastian stirred slightly when hearing Scarlett move about.
Scarlett froze when she heard Sebastian move she looked back at him and let go of the door handle and moved over the the foot of the bed and sat down unsure of what to do she definitely didn't want to wake Sebastian not yet anyway so she just sat quietly
Despite her mind's silent pleas, Sebastian woke anyway. His amber eyes were sharp as if he remembered something dear to him. He found Scarlett at the foot of the bed. Her scent wasn’t hard to follow. “You are awake.. earlier than I thought you would be.” He’d slept too long.
