Bailey walked into class and saw to his dismay, the cute guy from earlier sits right behind him. Bailey walked to his seat and sat down. He then placed his books down and began to doodle in his sketch book to make this situation a bit better.

Carter looked over Bailey's shoulder to see what he was doing, he watched Bailey doodle for a minute before he whispered, "whatcha doing?"
Bailey flinched and looked behind him. That cute guy had asked him a question. "I'm just drawing doodles in my notebook I guess," He replied before turning around and continuing his art.
"cute…the art I mean" he tapped his pencil more aggressively, still watching Bailey draw.
Bailey felt his face heat up and he hoped that the boy didn't see. As he drew he asked the boy, "So what's your name?"
"Carter Lee James, but you can call me Carter or Lee." He shrugged, "and what's yours?"
"Bailey, Bailey Jones," he said before returning to his artwork.
"Nice to meet you Bailey." Carter smiled. The teacher then walked in and started teaching.
Bailey closed his sketchbook because the teacher was talking. So he sat through the boring lesson. (Wanna time skip to lunch?)

After the bell rang Bailey grabbed his things and walked to the lunch room. As he walked he thought about the boy from earlier, Carter. I was a total dork infront of him yet he's still kind to me, why was that. The thought bothered him.
Carter walked to lunch. He ignored mostly everyone else, sitting at the same table he normally did, at least for now.
Bailey walked into the lunch room and saw Carter sitting alone at a table. He decided against his better judgement, to go and sit with him. He walked up to Carter and asked, "Is uh is this seat taken?"
Carter looked around, then at Bailey, "yeah, by you now." he shrugged, tapping his fingers on the table. "as popular as I am, people only like my car half the time" he muttered.
"Hmm what was that?" Bailey asked sitting down. He thought he heard Carter say something after telling him to sit but he couldn't quite catch it.
"did you like my car?" He asked, glancimg around the.room.
"Hmm oh yea it was okay I guess," he shrugged.
"Huh… So then what were you staring at?" He asked, referring to earlier.
Bailey felt his face heat up. "Umm well uhh I was umm a squirrel! Yep there was a squirrel in the road that I was starring at," he avoided eyes contact with Carter as he sais this.
"Parking lot. But yeah sure, squirrels are cool" he shrugged, shaking his head.
Bailey looked at his food. He wasn't convinced that Carter believed him but he wasn't willing to risk it. "Sooo umm what do you have next? I have art,"
"Uh…class?" He shrugged. "I think I have the car class..thing".
"Oh alright! Well that's cool," Bailey remarked. His statement was followed by an awkward silence
Carter nodded, letting the silence drag on for a moment. "you are good at art you know".
"Thanks, really thanks but I'm not all that good," Bailey assured Carter with a bashful smile on his face.
"I think you're pretty good, better than me" he shrugged. "but hey, you can keep dissing on your awesomeness all you want, I think you greatness at drawing is even with my greatness at driving"
"Driving isn't a skill any fool who goes to driving school can do it," Bailey teased and slammed his notebook shut.
"Right. But not everyone can drive like I do. Most can't even start a straight gear" he smirked. "I'd like to see you try to drive my car."
"I don't have a license yet," Bailey noted, "I'm still trying to get enough money to enter driving school,"
"if you need help, I could help." he shrugged. drumming his fingers on the table. "I love driving, a bit to much sometimes." he chuckled.
