Bailey looked at his food. He wasn't convinced that Carter believed him but he wasn't willing to risk it. "Sooo umm what do you have next? I have art,"
Bailey looked at his food. He wasn't convinced that Carter believed him but he wasn't willing to risk it. "Sooo umm what do you have next? I have art,"
"Uh…class?" He shrugged. "I think I have the car class..thing".
"Oh alright! Well that's cool," Bailey remarked. His statement was followed by an awkward silence
Carter nodded, letting the silence drag on for a moment. "you are good at art you know".
"Thanks, really thanks but I'm not all that good," Bailey assured Carter with a bashful smile on his face.
"I think you're pretty good, better than me" he shrugged. "but hey, you can keep dissing on your awesomeness all you want, I think you greatness at drawing is even with my greatness at driving"
"Driving isn't a skill any fool who goes to driving school can do it," Bailey teased and slammed his notebook shut.
"Right. But not everyone can drive like I do. Most can't even start a straight gear" he smirked. "I'd like to see you try to drive my car."
"I don't have a license yet," Bailey noted, "I'm still trying to get enough money to enter driving school,"
"if you need help, I could help." he shrugged. drumming his fingers on the table. "I love driving, a bit to much sometimes." he chuckled.
"That's an odd hobby but who am I to judge," he chuckled.
"yeah speeding is a bad hobby" he chuckled. "not productive like art"
"Aww my art isn't all that," Bailey remarked bashful, "all it does is entertain a couple people,"
"Art is productive, you could get a job with it" he shrugged.
"Well if you learn enough about cars you can become a mechanic," Bailey proposed, "People will pay money so they don't have to do things themselves."
"Maybe, but I'm lazy and don't wanna get my hands dirty" he shrugged.
"Then you're out of luck," Bailey shrugged, "I might give you a piece of my money if your lucky"
"You just said I'm out of luck" he shrugged, "I could always race"
"Racing is hard to get in to. You could always be a food truck driver though," Bailey noted.
"But that's not fast" he sighed his leg shaking causing the table to shake. "I want fast Bailey*
"Then be a speeder," Bailey said jokingly, "that is very fast, and dangerous,"
"I already am- I mean, meh not my style" he said quickly.
"Then you better be one hell of a driver to make it on NASCAR," Bailey slipped him a smile then turned away, blushing.
Carter smiled back, "you have no idea, I'm a god behind the wheel"
"You'll have to show me sometime," Bailey noted. Then the bel rang and lunch was over, "well I suppose I should get to class huh," he smiled before walking away.
