"Nobody has seen you in nearly a month. Or lights."

"I don't like lights."

Jona sighs.

"You don't like anything, do you?"

"Not anymore. "

"That's fair. But you can't hate everything. It's impossible."

"I do."

"Even kittens and cute fuzzy animals?"

There was a pause for a moment an the an uneasy breath "i dont know, okay. "

Jona had meant it jokingly, but he'd known what Eve's reaction would be.

"Let me ask you something, Eve. You were tortured, right?"

Eve nodded to herself before answering "yes…i was"

Jona nods.

"Thought so. How bad?"

"I don't want to talk about it.." she spoke quietly sitting down now with her back against the wall

Jona sits down as well.

"Okay. What do you want to talk about?"

"What are you going to guilt me into doing? "

"Eating. Next question." Jona says, amused.

"How old are you?"

"80 something. Next question."

"80??"

"Yep. Next question."

(They can't date now lol)

"Im done."

(He was already over 5 centuries old XD )

Jona shrugs and gets up.

"I'll check back tomorrow."

Eve stood and knocked on the door signaling that sge was walking away

(He ain't a wrinkly old man XD he looks like he's 20 something)

Jona walks away, calling back one last time.

"Groceries on the doorstep!"

Jona chuckles, already gone.

Eve waited a few minutes before she stepped outside and grabbing the bags before running back inside

Jona returns at the same time the next day and knocks.

Eve had barely eaten any of the food that jona brought but she did eat a little she was in the kitchen when he came back

"Hey, you alive?" he calls out.
