"Well I appreciate that." She said smiling softly as sh led him to the spare bedroom so he can drip his stuff off

Jona sets the bags down gently. They still rattle the walls and make the floor groan alarmingly. It looks slightly embarrassed.

"I, ah. . . sorry. I probably should've mentioned that I had brought all my stuff with me."

It was thinking magic might still be common in the world. Hoping, more like it.

Eve looked down at the baggage a little alarmed "i- um yes of course you did that's fine…. Um, you still have your car don't you? How are we getting your cat? "

Jona looks a bit bemused.

"I don't nee a car. We have Uber now."

It pauses. "God, I remember when the closest thing to an Uber was hiring a carraige."

Oh well don't waste your money on that we can take my car. " eve paused and looked a jona with a raised brow " yeah… there was but that was many many years ago. "

"Nah, Uber is cheaper than gas." Jona laughs.

It looks embarassed. "Yeah, you're right."

Eve laughed a little "yeah I guess so, what made you bring that up then, it's not like we can do that anymore. "

(EEP)

Jona shrugs. "I. . . actually don't know."

"Well okay then… What would you like to do? "

Jona shrugs. "Not sure. I think, since we'll be living together for a bit, that I'll get a gaming console set up."

"Oh um what kind?

Jona grins. "PS5."

It walks over to one of the bags and pulls out the console, cords and controllers, bringing them into the living room.

"Oh okay. " she nodded a little and followed after him

Jona looks around. "Where's the TV?"

"Oh it's behind here" eve walked over to a cabinet looking thing with the tv inside of it "here it is! "

Jona looks startled, then amused.

"That's cute." it muses before hooking the console up to the TV and turning everything on.

She smiled a little bit and nodded "yeah this place is really nice. "

Jona turns and smiles.

"Let me go grab my games and we can get started."

"Oh- you want me to play? "

"What's the point of a multiplayer game without multiple people?"

"I suppose…. I've never really played before though.. "

Jona chuckles.

"It's simple. . ." it starts, proceeding to explain the basics of Call of Duty.

Eve watched in confusion "I've only ever played like genshin…. What the hell is this? " she asked with a small laugh

"A shooter game. I do have Genshin though."

"Well I suppose I could try it… "

Jona smiles as he hands Eve a controller, taking one of its own.

"One match, then you choose a game."

"Okay sure" she nodded and took the controler smiling a little "I apologize in advance for me sucking at this. "

"You can't be that bad. And besides, sucking at something is the first step to getting better at it." Jona grins, starting the match.

Jona's reflexes were insane. Headshots, even with barely a glance at the enemy. He never even took damage.
