"Whatever. Shut up." Erik snarks.
"Oh, I never denied it. And they are working out, since I'm not burning the entirety of Hell to black dust." he laughs.
"Correction: I'm the Lusty boy. Because I've already killed the child of Lust." he smirks.
He tosses a ring at Stefan, not kneeling. "Marry me."
He gazes at the opulent thrones with distaste. "I really need to adjust the décor."
Stefan stared at Erik with an unamused glare. "What's next? Are you going to call me a worm? I am not that parasitic." He looked around, taking in the marble floors. Running his eyes over the light absorbing brick. The gold thrones made him sick. The jewels encrusted in them caught his eye. "Who designed this place? None of these fit together. I need to hire a designer. But we're keeping the jewels." He with drew his sword, ready to fight his father for the throne. "We can't be the only sins left, Erik. The other need to survive for the world to keep spinning. It's really unfortunate, but it's a must." Stefan caught the ring, wondering where he got it from. He shrugged and slid it onto his ring finger. "I do. We'll need to have a celebration after… well—your plans. And a coronation! So much to do, so little time!" He was about to ask where the sins were, when they filed into the room, glaring at the boys. Stefan waved to his dad.
Erik tilts his head, just as unamused. His gaze wasn't even focused on Stefan. "So what if I do? What would happen if I did?"
"I know! It's horrible! The colors clash like the Trojans and the Greeks. And I never said we'd be the only ones left. I'm saying I'm already a 'child of Lust'. I killed her child. Now I'll kill her. I also get Greed. Obviously Pride. You get Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony and we split Envy."
"Yeah, I'll leave the planning to you. You seem to have a better eye for those sorts of things than me."
Erik grins broadly at the sins. "Well hello! We're here to kill you!"
He tilts his head, and somehow manages to look even more menacing than Wrath himself. "Lie down and die, or taste our swords."
(Just casually tells someone we're here to kill you)
(Lol, I never said Erik was the brightest. He doesn't like dancing around with words, but he can when he feels it's neccessary.)
Stefan shrugged. "Don't know. Why don't find out, bitch boy." He laughed menacingly. "The palette makes me want to throw up. No wonder this is Hell. The royals of Hell can't even design a room." He waved his hand. "We're not pokémon hunting, Erik. And why do I get bad ones? I don't sleep all day! Now do I. Hmph." Jealousy flourished through him, and he locked eyes with the sins—the greater demons. "Erik. We don't tell people we're going to murder them." Stefan rushed in, going for the neck of Satan and yelling, "Too late." before he was met with a parry to his attack. He grunted and swung for the left side. The other had dispersed and Stefan was met with another parry. He growled, having enough of Satan's shit. Kicking the sin in the stomach, he knocked him down the ground. He went for the throat again, being met with another parry. This time, he used his strength to guide Warth's sword down to his throat, piercing Wrath's skin with the sharp side of his blade.
"'Bitch boy' I've heard before, worm." Erik retorts.
"No, they really can't. Can I tear down the thrones myself?" he wonders. "And I know this isn't a stupid children's game. You're already the child of the most powerful sin. If I get Lust and Greed, I'll be on the same level as you. Splitting Envy would give us more power, and giving you the others is only fair. They aren't very powerful, so I'll stay on par with you."
"Yeah, and I just did. So what?" he retorts, lunging in a blur towards Lucifer, swinging towards the sin's legs. The blow is blocked, and Erik draws his Damascus steel dagger to help. He goes full force, not even restraining the backlash of the blows he's trading with his father. He quickly gains ground, nicking the inside of the sin's leg with his sword, then his neck with the dagger. Soon after, he'd backed the sin into a corner. He sheathes the dagger, creating a replica of his sword. Both blades flash, a head falls, and Erik feels power course through him. He turns to Greed and Lust, flipping so that he's behind them. He scissors his blows, taking off both of their heads in two quick, clean swipes. He looks at Erik, waiting for him to finish with Gluttony and Sloth. He clicks his fingers, freezing Envy in his tracks.
Stefan's arms shook as he kept lowering his dad's blade to his neck. When the sword pierced the neck, he pulled it away, slitting the neck of Satan. He held up the decapitated head and threw it aside. He stabs his sword repeatedly in the body of Wrath, watching the blood flow. He was splattered with his father's deep red blood. Stefan felt the mark of Wrath shift to his body. Little fire patterns started to appear on his skin, and he howled in pain. These patterns glowed bright red, his eyes resembled the embers of fire. The markings started to fade, and his eyes faded to blue. He was panting, taking his father's black circlet and placing it on his head. Stefan went to work on murdering Gluttony and Sloth. He cut both of their mid-sections and then slashed their legs. His final blow was a slice to the neck. "Once we're done, dear, we can go rest in bed." Stefan's eyes were trained on Envy.
Erik laughs. "Not quick nor was it bloodless. At least I had the sense to make their spirits like me."
He moves forwards, towards Envy as well. He tosses one of his wepons to Stefan. "Catch."
He smirks. "'Rest'. That's a new one as well."
Stefan panted. "Who in their right mind would make it bloodless? It's a massacre of greater demons. You take pride in that, Erik." He crept closer to Envy, catching the blade Erik tossed him. He wanted more blood to spill. The fresh blood of the last greater demon to fall. His eyes had a spark of bloodlust, a fire that is not easy to put out. He was splattered in the blood of Wrath, Sloth, and Gluttony. "Yes, Erik." Stefan giggled. "Rest in the room reserved for the king. After we kill Envy, we can go lay in bed and rest."
"That's fair." Erik laughs, looking in the corner where Pride had died. Now that he was looking, there was more blood than he'd realized, a bit of it his own. He grins darkly. "I'll take pride in it, for sure. I am taking pride in it."
He steps closer. "I look forward to it then."
He launches himself at Envy, who has no time to react, or defend himself.
Stefan grinned like a mad man. "Of course it's fair. He had slaughtered the fallen, and we will rise up from the ashes." He was excited, launching himself at Envy before Erik could. He stabbed his weapon right in the demon's chest over and over again. Nothing could stop him from tasting the blood of freedom, the blood of royals, the blood that granted him ownership of the throne. It was a glorious day, far more glorious than any other he had commemorated. Letting the last blow go to his partner, he looked at the bloody mess. "Servants can clean this up. I have things to do with you!" Stefan looped his arm through Erik's and smiled. What a glorious day!
