Heya! I'm Misty, and I'm here to try out world building. I keep feeling like I'm not allowed to join in on things I'm not 1000% serious about, so I decided to start debunking that here. I have always made original characters in immense detail, but only through personality. Recently though, I've begun trying my hand at genuine world building, and I'm excited to try it out! Since I've never really done this before, It might suck – however, I'd like to try for once without dropping it all and thinking it's dumb, because I've had this running around my head for over a year!
I really am looking forward to trying something new, and I might end up getting overwhelmed and running away, but why the hell not just try and stick to it for once? :)

I don't talk much on the discussion because I feel a little awkward XD. I love writing (obviously) and have been doing it since I could pick up a pen. I enjoy filming as well, and editing videos as well. I love reading as well, though over half of my favorite authors are dead, like J.R.R Tolkien and C.S Lewis and Mark Twain. I do enjoy modern works too, like Percy Jackson and The Hunger Games. I think this community is awesome, though I usually just hang out on the sidelines and watch everyone else talk XD.

Hello everybody, my name is That Awkward Person. This is one of the names that I go by online, and my most common one. But you can refer to me as whatever you feel like, so long as it's not offensive.
I'm hoping that this site will help me organize whatever goes on in my brain. There's too many ideas, and my fingers can't type them fast enough, so I'm the master of skipping simple words like "the" and "it." This hasn't fared well in the past, especially when leaving out one of those words changes the meaning of the sentence entirely.
My interests include writing (obviously), music, typology (I'm an INTP-A by 16p standards, though I used to think I was an INFP-T because of stereotypes) and anything science. I also love to learn and discover new things, so the Random Fact Generator on Google is my friend.
So far, I've mostly done RPing, but I have written mini stories (about 5 pages long) here and there. I'm starting my first story where I more formally create a setting, characters, a conflict, and a decent plot line, so hopefully it won't turn out completely awful! The main things I want to improve on are flow and pacing, as well as character arcs.

Its a writing site like Wattpad but in my opinion way better. They just added a feature that when your stories done you can acutely publish it to paperback. Though like any printing and publishing it cost hundreds to make maybe a dozen books. They also partner with Amazon and Kindle to publish your books on there sites. Like I said I find it way better than Wattpad. I have a book called " The Oddballs" If you want to check it out. I only have the first chapter up though.
Hello, everyone. In the writing world, I go by Alex. I have not written much but I have just begun officially worldbuilding with this story that I plan on sticking with to the end.
