Sana had bee busy worrying about Evan falling as a figure appeared, and thankfully, she didn't look directally at it. Squinting, she tried her best to look near it, backing up several steps as she tried to figure out just what the thing was.
(should i make evan passed out, bleeding, or just fine?)
(Ehhhhh, bleeding? Then Ari can fuss over him? And with his necromancy powers, I can extend it so he can heal wounds as well.)
Evans blood leaked out onto the street and when he stood up with help from Sana, the blood went down his neck and under his shift giving him chills and dying some parts of his white hair red. He didn't look directly at rather at somewhat Ari.
Arsenio ran over when he saw Evan was bleeding and touched his head, to try and see where the wound was. Ari gently touched the wound with his lips, staining his mouth with the blood, but the wound immediately sealed up. He hadn’t even though about what he was doing, he just did it.
"U-um?" He didn't know what Ari was doing but let him do it anyway, before reaching back and not feeling a gash.
he turned to face Ari, "did you…..heal it?"
(Are either of you interested in helping plan/eventually attending a Notebook members masquerade ball in a few years from now? I’m in a forum, where we’re planning this to detail.)
Ari licked the blood off of his lips before nodding. “Y-yeah, I guess so….. It sealed up, so….” He fidgeted before hugging Evan tightly. “I’m glad your okay now….”
(I would love to :D though it really depends on where it is…)
Sana's attention had moved from Evan and Ari to the..thing, quite quickly, and she stepped between it and them without question. Even though she couldn't look at it directly, she glared at the light it gave off, "What are you? And what do you want?"
Evan muttered a thank you to Ari before noticing Sana go infront of them too which he went infront of Sana and Ari in a protective stance. He didnt ask any questions, he couldnt see a mouth but then again he couldnt see anything past the blinding light.
The thing smiled, not that they could see.
It lessened the light, enough to be able to look at it.
"I am here to train you. What i am isnt important."
Ari came up behind Evan and slipped his arms around his waist, half hiding from the strange being in front of them. He squeaked softly when he saw it’s eyes fall on him after lessening it’s brightness. He shivered a bit, uncomfortable with the situation.
"Yes it is, ball of light," Sana replied, crossing her arms defensively, "And train us for what?" Normally she couldn't care less about this whole thing, but being she was with two oblivious and clumsy friends, she assumed the role of protective mother. It was a role she took often, and even if Evan and Ari didn't know, it made them her adopted children that she was going to protect.
(is blessed by Sana’a mother-mode)
It laughed at her protectiveness.
"why to save the world of course."
Evan stayed in front of Ari, and staying protectively near Sana. Not understanding why he could actually hear the being speak. He wasn't supposed to be hearing anything.
"I think you have the wrong people, ominous voice," She replied, rolling her eyes, "If you can't see, we can barely keep ourselves together. We're college students. You really expect us to save the world with finals rolling around in weeks?" Sana scowled at it when it laughed at her, annoyance sparking up inside of her. She didn't want to save the world, it would mess with her graduation if she didn't pass these classes. And the last thing she was going to do was shell out more money for classes just because a ball of light thought it was more important.
Suddenly all three phones buzzed.
"go ahead, check it."
Emails from all their profssors about being dimissed from class.
"You noticed strang thing happening around you, have you not?"
Arsenio looked at his phone and then the other two before his eyes turned back to the strange being. “So what is going on? Why are strange things happening? And why are we suddenly dismissed from class?!?”
"Because you have been blessed with a gift."
the brightness increased as they paused, before decreasing. "You….thats what they want me to say?" she muttered looking down at the piece of paper in there hands.
they huffed.
"um? whos they?" evan asked, even though he shouldnt be able to se what she was saying.
"The only gift I've been blessed with is an immense amount of patience not to just walk away from you, ball of light," Sana replied, barely glancing at her phone and instead staying in protective mother mode. She felt relieved to not have to deal with class, but it wasn't like she wanted to run errands for the ball of light that still didn't have a name.
"You amuse me, However your world is unfortunately in danger. There are dark forces coming to destory your world and plunge it into eternal chaos." It spoke to them all, and yet again evan was wondering how he could actually hear it.
"thats why i gave you these powers."
Ari just watched warily, holding himself in a protective stance as he waited for this to be over, unsure of how this had happened to them in particular.
She scowled at the thing, then waved her hand, waiting for something to happen. "I don't have any powers, none of us do," Sana replied, though it didn't sound terribly confident coming out of her mouth. After all, with her confusion with the lights this morning, putting it up to powers didn't seem like an out of place idea.
"Oh i know you know exactly what im talking about, you had weird ecounters when you woke up did you not?" They asked, almost you could hear the smugness in there voice and in there smile.
"The only thing that was weird about my morning was my bathroom lights, and they're never acting right," She replied, only partially lying. Yes the lights in the apartment bathroom did act weird, but she had fixed them last week, and the experience this morning was very out of place.
"you know that isnt the truth, do i have repeat myself? you have powers."
Sana scowled, daring the ball of light as she replied, "Show me these powers I have then, if you're so sure I have them." She held out her hands to her side, hoping that she was wrong and that she didn't actually have powers. Who knew what Ari and Evan would think of her then.
