Sebastian waited a moment more, then moved his hand away. He took the collar and leash off, standing when Brennon was off his lap.
"That's good to know," he said. His words said he understood, but his face didn't change. It was something he couldn't well control.
"I'll have someone get a bed up for you," he said, turning around. "I'll be in my room if you need me."

@Calanthe

Brenn was happy to be off the other man's lap and gently rubbed his neck as he watched Sebastian walk away. His hands were trembling a little bit from the shock and fear the look in the man's eyes like he could have just killed him then and there had he said the wrong thing. When the man was gone Brenn started to go back to his room, but he was sort of curious and wanted to explore the house a little bit. After all, the apartment was ginormous and he kind of just wanted to see it all, especially if he was going to stay here for a while. But he decided against it and walked back to the library, picking up his book. He opened it up and looked down at it, but he didn't start reading again. He was just too nervous to do so, and he didn't want to be interrupted again by one of Sebastian's friends. But after a little bit, he started to read once again, but his mind kept on drifting back to what had happened in the living room. He was still sort of confused about what had happened earlier, and about how weird everything seemed now.

Sebastian carefully closed his bedroom door behind him, letting out a long sigh. Had I been too harsh? He needed Bren to feel safe around him, but he also needed the man to know what was expected of him. He moved over to his mirror, frowning slightly when he saw the look on his face still. He closed his eyes, taking a few deep breaths.
In… and out.
In… and out…
In… and… out…
Sebastian got his face to relax, falling back to its indifferent mask. He ran his fingers through his hair, pulling his jacket off and loosening his tie. He undid the top few buttons as well, sighing. He loosened his cuffs, sitting down in his favorite chair.
He pulled his phone out, needing to get a bed up for Bren.
Bring a bed up to my apartment. King size. He didn't care who brought it up, so long as it came. He set his phone down, not expecting nor getting a response. It hadn't been a discussion, after all. Just a command. Sebastian relaxed into his chair, letting out a soft breath. He still hand the collar and leash with him. He looked at them a moment, smirking. He'd probably set up plenty of opportunities for him to be able to use them.
In a about ten minutes, there was a knock at the door. Sebastian had closed his eyes, falling into a light sleep. He opened them, rubbing his eyes a bit as he sat up in his chair.

@Calanthe

Brenn had finally relaxed a bit more and was now enjoying the book, he had decided to not think about all that had gone on, he would have plenty of time to do that later, but for now, he just wanted to relax and enjoy himself. But after a while he heard the knocking and shuddered, praying that it wouldn't be anyone important and that he wouldn't want to have to wear the collar again. That thing was so uncomfortable, and he really didn't like the fact that he really wasn't in control of himself, rather someone in control of him. But after a little while of hearing shuffling and grunts the doors to the library opened and he saw some men carrying in a mattress and other parts for a bed. Behind them was Sebastian with a self-satisfied grin on his face, as he watched the men set up everything. Nervously Brenn put the book down and walked over to Sebastian's side, "Do I need the leash now?" He whispered quietly, tugging at the man's sleeve trying to get his attention. But it seemed as though the other man wasn't paying attention to him, he didn't really mind too much, he was sort of watching the bed being set up.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian was occasionally giving directions, telling the men where to put the bed and which way it was to be facing. He smirked just slightly, barely able to hear Bren's question. He ignored the other, tapping his foot a bit as he waited for the men to finish. He glanced at Brenn.
"No need for it," he finally said. He smiled a bit, turning back to the men. He needed to get Bren to think he didn't like the collar too, after all. Soon enough, the men finished, leaving the house. The bed was completely made, and Sebastian smirked.
"Is this good?" He asked, looking at Bren a moment.

@Calanthe

Bren fell silent after a little bit, knowing that Sebastian was busy, and he understood that, watching the other men work. It seemed as though after a few minutes it was over and the bed looked as though it has always been there in the room. "Oh, that's good, I just, it's no fun." He said mumbling that bit under his breath, as he walked towards the bed. "It's perfect, and it's giant! I've never had a bed this big in my life. The bed back home at my apartment is only a twin, so this is amazing!" He said as he sat down on the bed, then back down on it, "Woooooowww, it's so friggen soft." He said quietly as he made himself comfortable. But after a few seconds he saw the look on Sebastian's face, and sat up, "Is there something I'm doing wrong? Do you need to do something?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian tilted his head a bit.
"Ah, no, you didn't do anything wrong. My facial expressions don't usually match how I'm feeling, don't worry." The scariest time was well they did- you could never tell if he was lying or not, whether he actually felt that or was matching his mask.
"I'm glad you like it, though." Sebastian preferred harder beds himself.
"We'll be able to have your bird brought here by tomorrow, is that alright with you?"

@Calanthe

Brenn nodded, "Alright, I understand that." He said quietly, feeling a little bit awkward at the moment, and sat up straighter looking at Sebastian, "Okay, t-thank you." He said grabbing one of the pillows, "I really appreciate that, I can't wait to see him again. I hope you like him, just as much as I do, he's a sweetheart." He said clutching the pillow to his chest, "Do you want me to stay here for the rest of the day, or is there something that you want me to do or something?" He didn't really know if there was something that was needed to be done. And he just wanted to do something rather than just lay around the room all day. He looked up at the other man sort of hopeful that Sebastian had an idea or something. But he figured that he wouldn't be able to do much.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Well, you don't have to stay in here all day, but I don't really have anything to ask of you." Sebastian shrugged a bit. What would he ask Brenn to do, wear lingerie and call him master? The thought made Sebastian chuckled softly to himself as he turned to leave.
Perhaps someday. He put his hands in his pockets, smiling a bit to himself as he left.

@Calanthe

Brenn nodded a little bit and got off the bed, picking up his book. Now that I have permission maybe I can go look around and see what else there is here? He walked out of the bedroom and wandered around the house, past theliving room and kitchen, and soon found his way to what seemed to be a deck or something. He opened the door leading outside to the deck and was kind of surprised to see a large pool and a cabana it seemed. He found a comfortable looking pool chair and stretched out on it, enjoying the view of the city and just the lush greenery atop the roof. He started to read his book again, but soon grew bored and began to get a bit curious. He stood up and walked over to the railing against the edge of the cabana and looked down, watching the cars and people walk by.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

The apartment really was fifty stories up, the drop a long way to the ground. The people looked like tiny ants, so far away. Sebastian was in the kitchen, getting himself some more of the cake.
"Blasted- Fabian," He growled under his breath. The man had taken almost all of it! Sebastian shook his head, dividing it in half. He took his piece, getting the wine bottle. He sat down in his own room, with it's own view of the city, door open as he ate his cake and poured himself another glass of wine.

@Calanthe

After a while, Brenn had sat back down on the chair and had down a bit of thinking. It feels as though there's no way out. If I want to leave this place, it'll be almost impossible, not that I'm not going to try. He did like it there, but he didn't feel the safest, which was sort of crazy since he was under the protection of an extremely powerful man. But what would happen if something ever happened to Sebastian, even though the two weren't involved with each other, or at least he didn't plan to be romantically involved with the boy, he knew that people would probably assume that? And if they did, and Sebastian couldn't protect him, he'd be in a terrible situation. But he tried to not think about it, he liked this place quite a bit, and he liked it here, mainly and the fact that Sebastian had pretty much given him a room all to himself, and a big big bed kind of made him want to stay too. He sighed loudly crossing his arms, "What am I going to do. . ." He said softly, so unsure of himself and everything going on. Then Brenn realized something, "I'm not going home. . ." He said softly, a tear rolling down his cheeks, now knowing that he would never get to go home or see any of his friends again, just living up in this apartment with Sebastian. He curled up into a ball, his eyes shut as tears rolled down his cheeks, quietly sobbing. He wasn't sure why anymore at this point why, he knew it was mainly about the feelings about being stuck here, but also about how confused about his sexuality now. How he felt a weird attraction to the other man, the first attraction to a male he had ever felt.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian was quiet in his room, thinking to himself. This was a strange situation indeed. He never had actually kept someone like this. He'd had people trapped in his torture facilities, sure, but this was different. Brenn was right there, in his apartment, where he'd have to see him every day. He took a sip of his wine, finally able to hear the soft sobbing. He stood, placing his food and drink down. He took silent steps to the door outside, just standing there a moment. He'd seen people cry plenty of times, especially about what he had done to them, but… this was different. It didn't make him smile sadistically, he got no joy from this. he frowned softly to himself, confused, as he looked out quietly at Bren crying.

@Calanthe

After a while of just lying there, crying and feeling sorry for himself, he felt eyes on his back and he turned onto his side, seeing Sebastian there looking at him. His cheeks turned a dark red, and he looked down a bit embarrassed, "Oh, uhm, so sorry about that, I didn't think that anybody could hear me or something." He said quietly, as he sat up, "I'm sorry if I bothered you or something." He felt pretty ashamed at the moment, not wanting to have the other man worry about him, or talk to him about that. "I uhm, I'm alright, I just, I'm overtired." It wasn't too much of a lie, especially since it was getting late, and he hoped that Sebastian would buy that. "I'll just go back to my room if that's okay."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"No, you didn't bother me," Sebastian said softly. He himself looked away, feeling just a bit quilty. He ran his hands through his hair, looking up again. He didn't believe Bren, it showed on his face, but he didn't say a word. He understood Bren not wanting to talk about it. Sebastian stepped away, nodding just slightly.
"Okay then…" Sebastian trailed off slightly.
"There's some cake for you if you want, later," he said softly as Bren passed.

@Calanthe

Brenn nodded, not paying attention to the words of the other boy. He just wanted to be left alone, figure out his thoughts and probably cry some more. After that, he'd be fine, but probably not before that at all. He opened the door to his room, happy to see the bed again the wall, then closed it, walking over to the bed and curling up on it. He started to sniffle a little bit, tears rolling down his cheeks when he figured that he should just stop crying. It's not going to fix anything, and I'll just get a headache. Maybe I should just read another book, or something, that normally cheers me up. He sat up and looked around the room, just taking in his surroundings, Get used to this Bren, it's your new home for good now. . .

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian walked by Brenn's room, glancing at him a moment before going back to his own room. He closed his door, looking at himself in the mirror. Why was he smiling? Well, because he absolutely loved this. He ran his fingers through his hair, his own devilish smile staring back at him. He held back a chuckle in case Brenn was listening. He sat back down with his cake and wine.
"This is going to be very interesting…"

@Calanthe

((I feel like at this point we should timeskip or something. Maybe to a few weeks or even a month or so of them living together, unless you have an idea, which then, I'm all ears!))

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

(Ah, sure then!)

Sebastian was in the shower, getting ready for the day. He smiled softly, humming a small tune. Brenn had been with him for a month, and things had been going well. His own friends hadn't come over much, and they'd gotten the man's bird was safely settled in Brenn's room. Sebastian turned the water off when he finished rinsing off, toweling off. They hadn't done much interacting out of what was needed, but Sebastian had been cordial whenever they were. He wrapped the towel around his waist, stepping into his room with his toothbrush in his mouth.

@Calanthe

Brenn had woken up early and was already dressed and ready for whatever would happen that day. He had let Moose out of the cage and the bird, having flown around the room a bit, made himself comfortable on the boy's shoulder. Instead of eating breakfast or at least reading a book or something somewhat productive, Brenn was watching the cars go by on the street below. It had been a month since he had began to live here and a month since he had left the apartment, so in a way this was one of his ways of human interaction, other than with Sebastian. Eventually, he grew bored, and his stomach growled loudly, signaling that it was time to eat. He slowly stood up, not wanting to disrupt Moose, who during the time the boy had been looking out the window had perched on his head, making a makeshift nest in his hair. Once in the kitchen, Brenn served himself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the kitchen counter, eating his food quietly.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian took the toothbrush out of his mouth, rinsing and spitting. He came out of his room, still only clad in the towel, checking to make sure the coffee was on. He hadn't really gone anywhere other than work, and he'd left Brenn hear the entire time. He didn't much care himself, but he figured Brenn might like to go out for a bit.
"Hey Brenn," he said, walking over to the man and leaning on the counter across from him. Sebastian's hair was still wet, sticking up in different directions.
"What do you think of going out today?"

@Calanthe

Brenn looked down when he saw Sebastian walk into the room. That had sort of become a habit for him at this point, since he was still pretty scared to look at the man, at all. But when the man addressed him he looked up and studied him, Oh God. . .Why couldn't he have gotten dressed? Or at least put some pants on? "Out? Like outside? Like outside of this apartment? Is that even allowed?" He said quietly, his voice raising to a bit of a screech of nervousness. "But uhm, that'd be nice, as long as I don't wear that leash."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian wasn't the biggest fan of Brenn always looking away from him, but he was working to be less scary. He listened to Brenn's reaction, smiling softly.
"Yes, outside the apartment. Of course it's allowed, no one would try to stop us." He walked around to sit down next to Brenn and facing him. His legs were opened a bit, the towel just barely long enough to keep Brenn from being able to see anything.
"And you wouldn't have to wear the collar itself, but it would be a good idea to wear some kind of necklace, just in case we bump into one of my friends."

@Calanthe

"Y-you mean it? It would be so much fun!" Brenn said with a big grin, now sort of looking in Sebastian's direction, "I mean, I wouldn't think anyone would stop you, I just thought that I would always have to stay here or something. It's been a month and I've been pent up here, so I kind of just figured that I wasn't really allowed out." He said as he gently moved Moose from his hair to the counter. The bird wasn't too happy about that though, and screeched a little bit, and flapped his wings a little bit, trying to show his anger. But Moose was so small and tiny that he just ended up looking adorable, at least in Brenn's eyes. When Sebastian sat down next to him, he looked away from the man again, a dark blush forming on his cheeks. "O-oh okay. . .I'll find something to wear." He said quietly, fidgeting with the end of the light blue cardigan Sebastian had gotten him. The day after Brenn had arrived, Sebastian had gone shopping for him purchasing outfits and things that he thought would look right on Brenn, not that he had minded too much. All of the clothes looked extremely expensive to him, not things he'd ever buy for himself, but he liked wearing them. "Is what I'm wearing fine? Or should I change out into something else?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Well, you are allowed out,"Sebastian said ith a soft smile. "You just need to stay with me." He rested his head on his hand, elbow resting on the counter. He laughed lightly at the small bird's rage, turning to look at Brenn again. He saw the blush, letting out a soft hum. Cute. He didn't change how he was sitting, if anything shifting so the towel seemed to be loosening around him. He liked seeing Brenn flustered.
"What you're wearing is fine," he said, nodding a bit. "It looks good on you. Perhaps I should get dressed as well." He grinned, a smirk to it.

@Calanthe

Brenn nearly turned to face the opposite direction to not look at the other boy, his cheeks growing to be an even darker shade of red, if that was even possible, "I. . .u-uhm." He said awkwardly clearing his throat for no reason, "T-thank you." He mumbled eating some more of his cereal which had grown a bit soggy during this interaction. Moose, being the little jerk he could be at times, hopped over to Sebastian, cooing and chirping quietly as he peered at the boy, then without any warning he flew over and perched on his shoulder. Brenn turned and looked at Sebastian apologetically, "I'm sorry about him, he just likes being around people and stuff, and I mean, this is kind of the first time he's met you." He mumbled, and held out his finger for the bird to land on. But Moose, determined to bother Brenn, only squeaked out of annoyance and made himself more comfortable on Sebastian's shoulder.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian chuckled a bit when Moose came over to his shoulder.
"I don't mind," he said, lifting his fingers up to offer to Moose for a petting. He didn't outright pet the bird, being gentle with him. All this shifting around caused his towel to open a bit at the end, exposing his thigh alone.
"He's so pretty," he cooed softly.

@Calanthe

Now, rather than it just being Brenn's cheek being red, now his whole face was blushing. He mumbled a quiet okay, and just looked down at the ground, not daring to even look at Sebastian at this point. "I uhm, I'm just gonna be by the pool if you need me." He said quietly, glancing up at Sebastian for a quick second, before pushing in his chair and cleaning up his bowl. The poor guy was feeling so embarrassed, and not even for a big reason other than the fact that Sebastian was practically naked in front of him. He just wanted to get out of the room as fast as possible, but then he remembered his manners, I've eaten and he hasn't, I should probably at least offer to make him something. I just won't look at him. "Hey, Sebastian? You hungry?"
