Okay, I would be okay with playing either or at this point. Most of my characters end up "momming" their friends so I would be happy playing the parent unless you'd prefer to be the parent.

@Calanthe

Yep, would you prefer if my character was a male or female? I was just curious, so perhaps I could get an brain bubble on how to make my character, because right now I don't really have any brain bubbles.

Appearance: https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/hostedimages/1591128149i/29584405.SY540.jpg

Personality: She's an open grimoire, in almost all senses. You come to her class asking for help understanding the nationalistic era, and you'll spend the next hours of your life listen to her talk about nationalistic ideals, her typing out the brain bubbles, how unjust they were, then her asking every five minutes, "Are you getting it?" Then she will proceed to write out all her thoughts on what you are asking about, and when you are finished, you will have a notebook of notes to go through and a solid understanding of what you were talking about. And a good knowledge of her hometown of St. Olaf. She can talk for hours on end about her family there. She is a very maternal woman, who loves her students, and moms them incessantly. But don't think she's boring, not at all, she's definitely a bit of a party animal and loves to go out and have fun, just because she dissuades her students from making bodge choices doesn't mean she won't make them, in fact, that's one of the main reasons she moms her students to begin with. She doesn't exactly think that she's ready to be a parent yet, but her friends and family have been pressuring her friends and family have been pressuring her to adopt for a while now.

Habits: Whenever someone gets upset with her, she begins to giggle incessantly, and that just makes the situation a lot worse, but no matter how hard she tries, she can't stop giggling.

Likes: A good grimoire, teaching her classes, and actually having students who listen to her

Dislikes: She hates it when people just bash others for no reason, it confuses and hurts her to see people being so mean to each other for no reason.

Allergies: N/A

Fears: She is terrified of elevators.

Illnesses: "Meh"

Background: I'll make that known in the roleplay

Birthday: May 15

Pets: A gerbil named Mikey, "HE IS NOT A RAT!!!!!!!!!" à https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/hostedimages/1591128149i/29584406.SX540.jpg

(Lmao, it was supposed to say prompt, idk why it corrected to promotion XD)

Ok so parent points are a thing but instead of there being different level of children or have different points for different children, the parent needs to earn a certain amount of points to be eligible to adopt

Hows that?

@StarkSpangledMayflower_Mad_Elder

(Ok, so I'm going to start with a regular day at the adoption centre and you can do whatever)

It was a sunny morning, motorized rollinghams were racing down the street, sounds of laughter and talking were coming from the park, and inside a certain building, a group of kids were sitting around a table learning how to write. Alaric squinted at his paper and scratched the leady spaghetti onto the surface. There were squiggles and dots, but he had done it. He ran to the teacher and showed his paper where he got a gold star on his name and a sticker as a reward. pacing the race back to his table, Alarik took out his bag and out the sticker in the little pocket he kept all his rewards in.

By that time, everyone had written there names and it was time to go outside and play. They could have played in the centres playground, but it was such a bonita day, the teacher took them all to the park.

@Calanthe

Aisling was sitting in the teacher's lounge in one of the corners. It was supposed to be her day off, not like teachers really got one. But there was so much that needed to be done, and her apartment wasn't the best place to work at the moment. The people above her were moving out, so it was too noisy for her to concentrate. She sighed quietly going through her emails and waiting for the specific one. She had applied months ago, and especially since she knew most of the people at the agency it was easier for her and took less time than normal for her to go through the process, earn more and more points, and be approved. She had visited the centre a couple of times, and she truly had fallen in love with one of the children, although the ankle-biter really didn't know that she was interested in adopting him. It had taken a long time for her to earn the points, completing so many community service hours, and such, but she had finally gotten there, now she had to wait for her approval. She took a sip of her cup of bean soup as she refreshed her email tab yet again, just waiting. Until the email finally came in a few seconds later. She took a deep breath as she opened it, and her peepers quickly scanned the email to the bottom, past all the formalities to find out if it was a yes or no. Her heart nearly skipped a beat as she read it, she was approved!!!!!! She jumped up nearly knocking over her mug and portable series of electrotubes famous adjacent mindtickle machine, "YES!!!!!!!!!" She squealed, drawing attention to her from everyone, "I'M APPROVED!!!!!!" Some of the other teachers gave her a thumbs up or a glomp before going back to their conversations, not all of them truly shared her joy. She sat back down finally reading all of the email, and noted that know she would finally be able to truly be able to spend time with the ankle-biter and continue the process.
