Daniel let himself be pulled along, smiling widely.
"I can't wait to meet everyone else in class!" He said giggling as he started going to same pace as Faith, staying next to her now.

Nathaniel jumped when the ball came towards him and cowered behind Isaac, quivering a bit with his heart pounding in his chest. He flushed a bit as Isaac handled the situation so casually and tried to compose himself, but was still visibly nervous. "Aha… yeah. I hope you're right, Isaac…" He sighed softly, holding his things closer to his chest.
(7:15 AM)
Faith smiled when Daniel caught up to her. She dragged him along up to the classroom before sliding the door open energetically.
“Good morninggggg!!!!” She greeted all the people who were already in the class; four to be exact. They all turned when the door was opened.
The four students who were already in the class had quite distinctive features. One male had luscious blonde hair which went well with his clock-engraved irises. One was a female with small wings behind her ears and a shy personality judging from her small scream when the door flew open. The third was a male with white hair, a pair of sharp crimson-colored eyes, and a painfully attractive smile. The last who was in the room had straight jet black hair which is combed nicely, a pair of soft colored red eyes, and a slim yet clearly worked out body… and he was also enjoying a small lollipop.
Isaac nodded, guiding Nathaniel towards their class which wasn’t faraway now. As he would guide the boy up the staircase, Isaac’s instincts perked up. Someone was already in the classroom. This early, though? Who would it be?
Approaching the room with the clear sign labeled ‘4-E’, Isaac slid the door open and was met with a rather interesting scene.
Two figures—both were male—were sleeping beside each other, making one of them sleep on the other’s shoulder while the other ended up resting their head on the other’s. Isaac blinked a bit, looking back at Nathaniel.
“Just ignore them,” he mentioned, walking in silently and picking a seat towards the back end of the room.
Nathaniel blushed harder and nodded, following Isaac to the back to sit beside him. "Er… alright… is this like, a regular thing? Or…?" He asked, glancing over to the two boys on the ground. He organized his things on his desk and started fiddling with one of his glittery pens.
(recognizing these characters gives me great joy :D)
Daniel grinned when he was brought into the room, taking in everyone at once. It took a moment for him to process, of course, but he was back to fully functioning in a second.
"Hello~!" He said, keeping more toned down when he saw how the one girl had reacted. "Nice to meet you all! I'm Daniel!"
(Daniel's extrovertedness, it makes me cringe. how are people actually like this?! XD)
“They do, sometimes,” Isaac mentioned, getting out his notebooks and earphones. He connected the earphones to his phone and started playing music on it, leaving one ear open in case Nathaniel wants to talk.
“Did you come here via the scholarship?” Isaac asked, turning to Nathaniel with a raised brow.
(Good for you :D)
The four students in the room looked at each other before coming to a conclusion as to who would introduce themselves first. When the conclusion was made, they began.
“Hi, I’m Chronos, a pleasure to meet you,” the male with clock-engraved irises introduced.
“Uh…uhm… I-I’m Strix, nice to meet you…” the girl with winged ears continued.
“I’m Asher,” the boy with sharp crimson irises went on.
“And I’m Connor,” the last person in the room introduced themselves, making a popping noise with the lollipop they had in their mouth.
"Nah, found it in the depths if the internet somewhere…" Nathaniel kept toying with the glitter pen, sighing softly to himself as he waited for others to arrive. "And they've got places to sleep at night and food, so that's always a plus, yeah?"
Daniel grinned as everyone introduced themselves, nodding.
"It's nice to meet you all~!" Daniel said again. He made mental note of everyone's names, filing them away with a smile. Oh, this was going to be fun!
“I guess so. I’m staying in the dorms as well so we might bump into each other some time,” Isaac replied, scrolling through the news feed on his phone.
Soon, the door slid open once more with the entrance of a rather interesting figure. He had straight dark blue hair going down to his brows. His eyes were a golden shade, his skin was quite pale compared to that of a regular human.
“Morning Aisen,” Isaac greeted, not looking up at the figure.
“Good morning, Isaac and… uh…” the new figure looked at Nathaniel, blinking a bit.
“He’s Nathaniel, the new kid,”
“Ah, good morning Nathaniel,” the figure nodded and greeted as he went to one of the seats in the middle of the class.
Faith looked over at Daniel.
“Hey! Are you staying at the dorm or somewhere else? Is your house, like, around here?” She asked, mostly to break the ice. Her warm grin was sure to capture the hearts of many. She was a nice girl to be sure.
Nathaniel nodded a bit as he listened to Isaac. "Yeah, that'd be nice. I can't remember if I have a roommate or not…" He looked up when someone else walked into the room and addressed Isaac. When he was introduced, he smiled politely and waved.
"I'm staying at my house," Daniel confirmed. "It's actually one of the diners near here." He couldn't help but smile back. Faith had a pretty smile, for sure.
Lacerta had arrived somewhat on time for school. He had his hands tucked into the pockets of his tight black slacks as he slowly, but cheerfully, strolled his way through the front gates. Most of the other students were already in the halls, talking to others or just keeping to themselves, but Lacerta took a moment to stare up at the sky and took a deep breath in. A new day, let’s hope it went well!
Isaac eyed Nathaniel a bit when he mentioned a roommate. Of course, Isaac didn’t remember who his roommate was either. He’d been dropped off just today. Well, only time will tell. Isaac stood up from his desk and made his to the two who were sleeping against each other.
“Oi, you two,” he tapped both of their shoulders, attempting to wake them up. Eventually, they did move but to Isaac’s surprise, they just kinda cuddled each other more and not entirely waking up. The boy blinked before giving himself a facepalm and letting out a sigh.
“You two are hopeless…” he murmured.
Faith’s eyes lit up.
“Really? That’s cool~ Can I go visit some time? Is your family there as well? What kind of food do you—“
“Faith—“ the one named Chronos called out, afraid that her questions were going to make Daniel uncomfortable.
“Oh right, heheh, sorry~” she scratched the back of her neck while sticking out her tongue slightly, more of an adorable way to get out of things.
“4-D… 4-D…” one of the students who had walked past Lacerta was muttering as he looked down at the small map he was provided. Albeit, he was lost. He stopped somewhere in front of Lacerta, looking around before turning to the lizard.
“Hey, do you know where class 4-D is?” He’d asked. He definitely had picked the wrong person to ask.
Nathaniel flushed a bit as he watched the two boys, fidgeting nervously with his hands. I wish I had the confidence to do that… it's kinda weird in public, though… He looked away and turned his attention back to the glittery pen he was twirling between his fingers.
It’s to be noted that the two boys who were sleeping in front had some similar features, namely their fox-like ears coming from the top of their heads and their fluffy tails. They were demi-humans, so to say. The smaller one was one with dark brown hair, a small smile forming on their lips, and what looked like small tree roots forming on their cheeks. The other, more interesting, figure was one with black hair, a very fluffy-looking tail and a very light skin tone. He also had a pretty… weird collar around his neck.
Isaac turned back to Nathaniel before making his way back to his seat, sitting down and turning to Nathaniel. He handed Nathaniel one of his earbuds, raising his brow.
“You wanna listen?” He asked, his face unfazed by his own actions.
"Hmm?" Nathaniel looked up at Isaac curiously at the offer. "Oh! Yeah, sure! Thanks." Nathaniel carefully fitted the earbud he was given into one ear. "What song are we listening to?" He asked, shuffling his wings around a bit so they wouldn't be squished and uncomfortable.
“Got any you like? I really have no idea what genre you would like,” Isaac answered with a small chuckle at the end.
Aisen had been watching the two for a bit, his face subtly showing confusion. Since last year Isaac hadn’t been showing a lot of emotions so why now. He shrugged it off as just Isaac changing since summer break and went back to his novel he was reading, nibbling on the sandwich he had brought up to the room with him.
"Um… I'm not really a big music guy, to be honest… I'm not a big fan of hard rock, but just about anything else is fine, I think?" Nathaniel shrugged a bit, adjusting his wings again. These chairs really weren't ideal for accommodating the feathery appendages.
Isaac nodded, scrolling through his playlist and looking for a song Nathaniel might like. He ended up picking one of his favorites, namely “Beauty’s On The Inside” by Chloe Adams. Upon starting the tune, he noticed that the angel boy had some problems with his wings and chair he was on. He stood up and went to the storage space in the corner of the room, picking out a stool.
“Here, might better for ya” Isaac said, placing the stool by Nathaniel.
"Oh, thank you!" Nathaniel shifted over to the stool and sighed softly in relief, flirting his wings a couple times now that they were free. "Mm… I don't think I've heard this one before…" He hummed thoughtfully to himself while he listened.
Lacerta jumped a bit at the voice that had spoken to him, but he turned to the boy with a nervous smile. “I was just headed there myself. Suppose we can head there together now.” The lizard gestures for the other boy to follow him, keeping his steps short so as to not walk too far ahead. Lacerta wasn’t given a map, he didn’t even know maps were available to people, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out where the rooms were.
Isaac just gave a quickly nod, sitting back at his own seat, going back to his playlist. Of course, there was some time before the morning call and the entrance of the homeroom teachers. He was skeptical as to who will be in charge of this class. Hopefully, they’re not so strict. That was all he really wanted.
His attention was turned back to Nathaniel when a question popped in his mind.
“In the high chance that we’re not in the same dorm room, you wanna hang out in mine some time?” He asked casually.
The figure gave a nervous smile as they followed.
“You look like one of ours actually. Are you a demi-human as well? As in, a human-lizard hybrid?” The figure had asked, seemingly wanting to break the ice. Albeit, that wasn’t the best question to ask but judging from their wacky personality from having a map yet unable to process it, it wasn’t all that weird.
“Oh! I am indeed.” Lacerta smiled brightly, his eyes lighting up. “The name is Lacerta Almaraz, and you are?”
A wave of relief washed over Lacerta now that he knew there were others of his kind attending this school. That made things a lot easier, and it meant he could actually be himself more often than not.
“Oh! I’m Alvin, nice to meet you,” the figure introduced. “Oh, I’m a boy, by the way. Please don’t get confused,” he immediately said with a small pout. Of course it was confusing, the dude had long blue hair with equally sparkling blue eyes and a very cute costume, not exactly what you would expect from a male of sorts.
Nathaniel flushed at the offer, a bit taken aback. "Oh! Yeah, sure! That could be fun." He smiled, drumming his fingers across his leg in time with the music. "It's gonna be weird living at the school like this, huh? I guess it's kinda preparing us for college."
Isaac nodded, tapping his feet to the music.
“Indeed it is,” he replied. He turned to Nathaniel again, his face unfazed and extremely hard to read.
“In case we are in the same room, well, I would like to get to know you better,” he added.
Nathaniel nodded a bit, considering. "Um… what all do you what to know?" He asked curiously. "I'm open to questions, I think? I'll try to answer everything as honestly as I can…"
“Alvin..” Lacerta repeated, nodding his head firmly. “A pleasure to meet you.”
How many times had Alvin been confused for a girl on sight, he wondered. After all, it wasn’t every day you found a boy wearing such… effeminate clothes.
He tightened his ponytail and shoved his hands back into his pockets, coming to a halt before a door. “This is our stop, you ready to meet everyone?”
