Looking up, eyes wide from the sudden intrusion of Gracie and Etta, Jason quickly extinguishes the flame, leaving a barely visible line of smoke in its wake. Oh god, I hope she- His thought trails off. "Why do you have a horse?"
“Ok just avoid my question-“ Eli says before noticing Gracie. “Um ya why do you have a horse,”
Ok cool I usually link my character profiles but my characters got deleted for some reason
Oh no! 😨 Were they accidentally deleted? Did you let @andrew know about this?? Maybe he could do something to help you???

It’s ok I only had like 1 character on here and my siblings know my passwords to everything sooooo yaaa
"Aww, you mean my sweetie pie Etta? Doctor's orders," here Gracie smiled, and scratched an itch on Etta's neck. "I did ask your name, new guy… Anyways, who's the other dude?"
"Oh," Jason simply states. "I'm Jason, by the way," he says, answering the question of what his name is. He brushes a hand through his dark brown hair, tousling it out of the nearly combed hairstyle that he had.
Gracie gave a soft laugh, hugging Etta lightly around her neck. "Hey Jason…"
“Oh and my name is Eli.” Eli said to Gracie with a smile. “Ok I’m going to sound insane but are you like me and Jason too?” Eli asked Gracie nervously.
"I… I guess… I'm not as impressive though, and it's not something I can control," Gracie replied, pursing her lips and squeezing her eyes shut. It was coming. The first time of the day. Vivid images shot through her vision. The flooding. The earthquakes. Utter chaos. Once it ended, she opened her eyes, shaky.
“What can you do..” Eli asked his voice getting softer. He realised Jason looked familiar but he didn’t know where from.
"I don't really do something per say, though I do see… the future…" Gracie muttered.
“Oh cool I can read minds and what I like to call “enter” a person’s mind when they are sad or stressed.” Eli grinned “and Jason I think controls fire,” Eli said thinking a little deeper in how he might know Jason.
"So, we all have paranormal abilities; isn't that just lovely." Jason says sarcastically, sitting himself down in a chair. Well, at least here, unlike Midtown, I won't be labeled by these two as a 'weirdo', he thought, and looked over at Eli. "I hope that you don't just go around reading people's thoughts without their knowing."
“Well I can’t really control my “abilities” so it’s not my fault I was born with mind reading powers.” Eli said grumpily as he sat on a chair a few feet away from Jason. “Um.. you don’t have to answer this but Midtown isn’t that a high school..” Eli asked looking at Jason’s shoes.
The smell of burnt wood permeates the air as wisps of smoke coil above the hand that he had placed on top of the desk. "Midtown," Jason starts, the taste of ash in his mouth, "is a city; I was a student at Midtown High."
"So… Jason can you control your powers?" Gracie asked, glad the topic had changed, stroking Etta's neck.
His eys dart over to Gracie. He had been taught to always look at whoever he's speaking with."I've actually been working on teaching myself to control them. So far I can create small fires, and heat up a small area of the air around me."
"Nice," Grace replied, unsure of what else there was to say. She was surprised, however that no one had said anything about her… eye. She was glad though that no one had mentioned it. She didn't like being treated differently.
"How- oh right, mind reading. Perfect timing," Gracie said, annoyed. She didn't lose her eye of an action she made, she thought bitterly. She was born this way. She couldn't see out of it. "I can't even see out of it, we're not the same," she spat bitterly. Etta twitched her ear, a fly was buzzing around, annoying her. Reaching up to brush the fly away, she jumped, as she wasn't expecting her ear to twitch again. Then again, if she had two working eyes, she might've seen it coming.
“Oh I wasn’t meaning too be mean I was just assuming,” Eli said apologetically. He looked over at Jason eyes wide “The Midtown Fire.” Eli mumbled under his breath.
Gracie sighed. "It's alright I guess…" she looked at Jason when Eli mentioned the fire. "Wait you were behind that?" she asked in alarm.
“No…. I don’t sense fault on his Conscience,” Eli said softly. “I sense blame I think..”
"Why…" Gracie started, then shook her head. "Nevermind…" leaning gently against Etta, sighing.
Jason let out a sigh. So much for that 'fresh start' idea, he thought.
A look of trepidation and dismay came across his face as he slumped forward in his chair. Thoughts and memories of those that had been injured or even killed raced through his mind. He really did feel guilty for not warning others of the impending danger that day. If I hadn't simply ran outside like I did, poor Jane wouldn't have been hospitalized and put into a medicaly induced coma; others would still be alive.
"I was framed for the whole gym fire incident. I don't exactly know why, nor by who, but I do have some ideas." He looks to Gracie again, this time addressing her blindness. "So what if you're blind in one eye; that doesn't matter to me, and it shouldn't matter to anyone else either. You're still capable of living your life, Gracie. Screw anyone who thinks otherwise!"
(If you two want to know more about Jason I can share the story that he's from, Rising Flame, with you; just let me know…. Though I'm still writing it. Since its nearly 2:30 am for me, I'm gonna get some much needed sleep. Goodnight/morning y'all!)
(I feel you I write books too and I stay up till like 3:00 am just trying to finish one of the many ideas for my story I like realistic fiction but Fantasy books are ok)

“Ya, Gracie people suck I’ve been bullied for…. reasons… but now I’m here. Of course I still have bullies but I’ve learned to stand up for myself,” Eli said proudly to Gracie. “Oh and Jason, I won’t tell anybody about Midtown,” Eli told Jason smiling.
"Thanks… I guess," Gracie replied. Looking at the doorframe, she reached out a hand, leaning over hoping it wasn't too far and she wouldn't fall over. Her hand hit solid material. Oh thank goodness I didn't fall, she thought.
Jason stood up from the table that he had sat at. "Now I have to try to go get a new map since I accidentally scorched the one that I had."
Gracie gave Jason a half-smile. "What's your first class? We might have the same one, we could walk there together if you want…"
(Also what time is it in school rn? Like at lunch, first class, ect.)
(Sorry, I've been having wifi/internet problems…. Let's go with 1st hour.)
