Inspired by episode 2 of Love, Death, and Robots, yes it's on Netflix. I recommend watching it mainly cuz it's a great and hilarious episode.
The premise of this roleplay is loosely inspired by this episode and I'll explain everything you'll need to know.

It's the future, and humans are gone. Dead. Destroyed by their own goddamn ignorance. Not by nuclear war. Not by killing each other. No.
Humans are extinct because they decided to genetically mutate animals to not only talk, but also have aposable thumbs.
Those idiots.

This is the future, where robots roam abandoned dystopian cities as vacation spots and treat them like tourist attractions, throughout which the traveling robots attempt to figure out humans. Each of these different cities have one ruling animal family, could be anything from meow machines to giraffes. Archives of the humans have been improved, and these cobble-stone-clippity-clop trips are supposed to help fill in the blanks. These robots have descended from long lines of electrical devices, ranging from baby montiors to xboxes.

This roleplay is going to be a group of robot friends going on a cobble-stone-clippity-clop trip to visit one of these cities.

Is this going to be hilariously chaotic? Yes. Yes it is.

laws you must obey:

  • No one-liners.
  • Use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Cursing hella allowed.
  • Diversity allowed and encouraged.
  • Include people in your reply. React to each other.
  • Do NOT leave people behind. This is not a one-on-one, so don't act like it.
  • Fill out the entire template. No "develops" should be in it.
  • Hate the character, not the person.
  • Take heated scenes to inbox or skip it.
  • Do not fight each other. Either stop or take it some place else.
  • I choose who joins so ask first.
  • My roleplay, my laws you must obey. Fight me at your own risk.

I was trying to cut back on rping for a bit but I was summoned and I was told to watch this show like 5 minutes ago so I think it’s a sign. Also this seems really cool

(Heads up, I'm going to make two characters. You can too if you want to but you don't have to. Anyways, here's the first one.)

Name: Model SXW- 149, nicknamed "Swipe"
Gender?: Both and neither, will explain later. Just use they/them pronouns

Sexuality?: Asexual
Descendant Of: Doll Bots
Appearance: Human-esque face and body, though is a lavendar color rather than flesh colored. Exposed joints and fingers are black and protected. Detail designs, including unique facial structures, are lighter shades of white and lavender. Soft, smooth movements with a bit of heavyweight clanks with each step. giraffy at 6'5" and very, very slender.
Personality: Can be dominant, can be submissive, it all depends on what they're needed as more. Really only flirty when flirted with first. Very relaxed, humorous, and curious. Full of bodge puns. Gentle. Happy-go-lucky. Free-spirited.
Voice: Very androgynous. Can switch voice modules to higher or lower pitches.
Functions: Was built with all the necessary hardware to be a pliable woohoo robot. Can detach and re-attach parts to their liking. Can also canon-defenestrate the detached parts away. Has a total of 5 ports, 3 of which with locking mechanisms and two of which with storage capacity. Runs on Fusion Batteries. Program shutdown occurs very rarely and is used sparingly, as it turns them into an unresponsive block of machinery for 2 days.
Backstory: Was made to please horny humans but never had the chance to put their skills to work. Had to constantly battle to two opposing lines of code they had been programmed with, which allowed them to grow into an interesting, and often contradictory, personality.
Other: Likes to call their detachable parts "possible boomerangs". Enjoys taking things and seeing if they'll become grinding gears parts or not.
