"Not really…I just..Don't know what's happening…or will happen." He shrugged a little bit.

Seth hugged Hiro and tucked his shaggy head under Hiro's chin. "Mmmm…"
Alev glanced up from the computer. "I'm changing Seth's human profiles' ages to adult. That means I have to hack into government files. As for what will happen, that's up to you, seeing as how I know Seth won't give his own opinions."

He nods and hugs Seth tightly. "I understand." He sighs a little but was happy none the less. "He's also very stubborn. Won't let anyone help." He laughs.

Alev rolled her eyes while smiling, "Yeah, he's been like that since he was 80 years old. Actually, no, he showed signs of that when he was a baby. I should know. I used to change his diapers." Seth's face turned red and he hidhis face in Hiro's shirt. Alev grinned, fingers still flying. "He would just sit in his room all day hiding in his blankets. Once, he wouldn't eat for 4 months straight because his mom insisted on him socializing during family reunions." alev then turned a little more serious. "But Hiro, Seth probably shouldn't be out of the house too much for the next ten years. If people saw him walking around, they'll wonder why he's not in school, people might recognize him, and there'd be a huge mess. So just a forewarning. Also, you might need to move around the world. People become suspicious if a person doesn't age while they do."

"Make sense." He pets Seth's head again and looked at Alev. "Personally I was thinking of moving soon anyway. Well Before Seth came along. But to do that I have to quit my job…"

Alev smirked. "Aw, Seth. You didn't tell him..?" Seth mumbled something into Hiro's chest. "Seth, you need to tell your mate these things."

Hiro just looks at him confused.

Seth sighed and unburied his face enough to mutter, "I'm a demon soldier. I get so much money from it that it's embarrassing. I think that's what Alev's trying to get at." Alev giggled. "Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!"

"…Oh. You could've just told me…" He looks at him. "I don't see why you think you don't have to say anything to me…"

Alev rolled her eyes. "He never says anything. "They didn't ask" was literally his senior quote a few years ago." Seth rolled his eyes back at her and sighed heavily. "Hiro, being a soldier means if there's ever a war, I have to go and there's a high risk of me getting hurt."

"I understand. And if I remember correctly…You already are hurt." He states a little mad. "You don't think I know what a soldier is?"

Seth pulled away from Hiro and looked at his feet, figure drooping. He thought he kinda deserved Hiro's scolding. He looked away. "Sorry." He whispered softly.

He sighs. "…No…I'm being to harsh… He laughs nervously. "I should be the one to apologize." He pulls him back over to him. "Sorry Seth."

Seth shook his head but let himself be pulled into Hiro's arms. "No, I was being stupid…"

"That's a lie" He nuzzles his cheek.

Alev heard the nervousness in Hiro's laugh and raised an eyebrow. 'What's up with that? What does he have to be nervous of'

Seth sighed, knowing that arguing the point would just lead to more negative emotions. He hugged Hiro quickly before standing up. "I'm gonna go get a coke from the vending machine down the hall. Do either of you want anything?"

"I'm fine with anything." He smiles. He was nervous because he didn't know how to react to anything. He just wanted to say the right thing.

Alev raised fist and tossed Seth some coins. "I'll take a Sprite little dude." Seth nodded and walked out of the office, shutting the door gently behind him. Alev sighed then pierced Hiro with a sharp look. "Alright, what's going on between you two?"

"What do you mean?" He looked at her confused.

Alev started checking things off her fingers. "You just said Seth was hurt already [I smelled the blood but wasn't sure about it], might I mention that it's kinda hard for demons to be hurt?, two, Seth was pretty much cowering when you started to get mad, which, however unsocial he is, that's weird, and three when you laughed just now I could hear nervousness behind it. So. What has happened that I can smell the fear radiating off of Seth?"

"…I don't know much to be honest…I just know a succubus went after him…And he was hurt badly. And i nervously laughed because I'm not the kind who knows what to say. I have no idea why he acted the way he did when i got mad. Could be because we've fought before." He tried to answer the questions the best he could do.

Alev sighed. "What kind of fight was this? What happened?"

"…He kept calling himself a defect and I snapped."

Alev eyes grew sad. "…That was a bit of his mother's fault. He was raised to call himself a defect. It's not something he can just stop doing. He's gonna do it more. You just need to gently remind him. He… didn't grow up in the best family. He's not gonna be fixed in a couple days. It could take years." She looked out the window and sighed. "What did he do after you snapped?"

"Tried to kill himself…I had to stop him…I told him true things." He looks away. "He didn't believe me at first…"

Alev quickly sat up. "Kill himself? How!?"

"He went to a church that was close to my house…I can't say for sure what he was going to do but he opened the book…He shut it when I got there…"

Alev face was white now, her eyes wide. "Oh. My. Gods." She slumped back into her chair and started taking deep breathes. "It's ok Alev. He's alive. He didn't do anything. He's alive. It's okay…." she murmured to herself.

Hiro asked if she was ok. He felt like he did something wrong. "S-Sorry…I should've stayed quiet…" He curls up. This is why he prefers to keep his mouth shut.
