“Did you guys just run away?” Ryan smiled, a little confused.
“Did you guys just run away?” Ryan smiled, a little confused.
"No I…just needed to talk to him about something. That's all."
"No I…just needed to talk to him about something. That's all."
“Oh. I’ll just be back downstairs then,” thrust were talking and that was enough. So Ryan disappeared back downstairs.
"Right, now I really need to get back downstairs but…thanks for not letting me just cry by myself." She smiled a little.
Cooper chuckled. “Of course. If you’d learn to give yourself a break every now and then you’d be a lot better off,”
She rolled her eyes with a smile. "A break? What's that?"
“Hm, not sure,” he joked as he stood up again.
Fleur was in her room, sitting on the edge of her bed. Her phone was in her hand and she was squeezing it tightly. What if he forgot about me? Nonsense! Shuttup, he'd never forget about you… right? Oh, God, he's not going to turn into Phillip, is he? NO! Stop it!
She pulled herself to her feet, stretching slowly. "Nothing like a good cry to make you feel better."
“That’s fair,” he chuckled and moved toward the door. “After you,” he stood aside for her to go down first.
"Such a gentleman." She chuckled, heading back downstairs.
Fleur bit her lip. Her own words stared at her. Good God, just send it! It's the little green button… c'mon.
“I do try,” he followed after her.
"You always have." She smiled a little, giving no allusion to what just happened to the other guests.
Ryan and Elizabeth looked at Belle with the same smile reflecting off their eyes. Cooper went to go sit where he was before he left.
She hit send and put her phone face-down on her desk quickly.
To: Cooper
Hey, how is your meeting with Belle?
To: Fleur
Everything’s going fine. We’re gonna eat and then I should be on my way home.
Her device buzzed and she picked it up again.
To: Cooper
Alright. Je t'adore.
"Hey, sorry about that, just needed to do something real quick." She took her place again, willing the previous conversation to just flush away.

“We should do dinner. It’s late enough now,” Ryan suggested.

She smiled when she read his text. She'd been worried that, even though the truss had been broken, he would still love Belle over her.
"Yeah that sounds nice. Can you gather everyone for me?" She kissed his cheek and headed into the kitchen, bringing the food to the table.
The truss wasn’t even broken it was just satisfied. Cooper’s love for Belle came from the amount of time he’d been with her.
Fleur brushed her hair behind her ear and put her phone back on her desk. She sighed softly and laid back against the comforter.
It was times like these Lillian really was grateful for Darren. She could feel sleep start to take over, even with the pain in her gut.
He let out a slow sigh as he relaxed back into deep sleep.
Lillian fell back asleep. She shouldn't wake up again, until the morning.
Darren has been awake but just laid there, still holding onto Lillian.
Lillian was curled up against Darren sleeping as soundly as she could.
Hey underachievers.
Heyo!
