He smiled, almost sorry for her…almost "I dare you to call him."

She stared at him, mouth open, shocked he would make her do such a thing. She quickly pulled herself back together and took out her phone. She sneered at him, “Fine! What do you want me to say, meanie!!”

"l don't want you to say anything, just hand over the phone after he answers" he said calmly

“Alright…” She continued to deeply glare at him. She found his contact and dialed, then handed over the phone as soon as He answered.

"Hey, Lydian I'm so sorry for all the things-"
"shut up and stay that way, Lydian's not here, you stay away from her, I find near her again, I'll kill you."
"what the…Cas? pfft, you think you can land a girl like her, you're way outta her league."
"and you're out of the ballpark" he handed the phone back to her after hanging up
" that felt good." he said with a smile "I believe it's my turn to ask. Truth or dare?"

She couldn’t help the smile that rose to her face from what he said. “Aw, thanks… I thought you were going to tell him something embarrassing, but… that was honestly quite gutsy to do.” She moved some of her hair out of her face, before replying to the question, “Truth!”

He smiled at her "thanks, and it was nothing, just some pent up rage from a while ago." He leaned forward and brushed aside her hair that she missed. "Alright…truth…got it! Is it true that you're interested in someone again?" He asked with a lopsided grin

Lydians face went slightly red, from both the question, and how close Cas for when he moved her hair. “Well, if you must know.. yes, it is true.” She hoped that he would be satisfied with that answer, and wouldn’t ask for anymore details. She then quickly said, “Your turn, truth or dare?”

His jaw clenched involuntarily as he felt his one opportunity to tell her, slip away "dare."

She flashed him a smirk, before saying, “Enough with my old romances and possible future ones- I’m curious about yours. I dare you to text your crush- right now.” She sat back, as if satisfied with her dare.

He leveled his eyes with hers "…fine." he picked up his phone and texted her

She heard her phone go off. Her heart pounded a little harder, and she continued eye contact with him while she picked it up. She looked down at her phone, and the message was from him. She looked back up at him, struggling to find the words to say. “You.. you really.. think of me like that?”

He nodded and swallowed nervously "yea, for a while now. it's ok if you don't feel the same, I…I just wanted to let you know." trying to give her a small smile

Her eyes flicked over his face, and she tried to come up with something good to say, something to express the way she’s felt about him too. She then decided that if words wouldn’t work, actions would have to instead. She leaned in closer to him, and then gently brushed her lips against his. She moved back and met his eyes, waiting to see how he reacted.

He gaped at her "wait…but you…you said that you were interested…in someone….." He stuttered, stupified

She smiled from how flustered he got. “Well, you’re a someone, aren’t you?”

He stared at her in disbelief "wait but….of screw it,@ he leaned towards her and brought his lips to his, kissing her with held back hunger

She closed her eyes and kissed him back, barely able to contain the feelings that were running through her. She had dreamed of being with him for so long now, and it had finally happened. She put her arms over his shoulders, pulling them closer together.

Slipped his head around her back and pulled her closer to his chest. He parted slightly "how long?" He asked, still not being able to believe that he was kissing her

Her arms tightened around his neck, wanting to be as close as possible, wanting to feel him all over. “How long have I liked you?” She counted in her head, then gave up. “Well, essentially since I met you… I just hadn’t accepted my feelings until a while ago.” One of her hands ran up his neck and played with his hair. “You?”

He leaned in closer and shivered as her hand traveled to his hair. "Ever since we were in college together and you asked me to study with you in the library." He smiled at the memory " you looked so cute. You always wore your hair in a bun." He remembered fondly, digging his hand into her hair and bringing her closer. He leaned in close enough to brush lips "love, not like." He looked up at her through his lashes and kissed her slowly, pouring his years of love and desire into that one moment that they were sharing

A deep, almost purr type sound came from the back of her throat while he kissed her. She knew that she had loved him for a while yet, but, she never expected to want him like this. A new kind of hot desire ran through her veins as she passionately kissed him back. She arched her back and continued to wind her fingers through his hair. She pulled away for just a moment to barely whisper, “I love you too..” Before closing the distance between them again.

He smiled against her lips "was this your game all along?" He asked, then resumed to kiss her, slowly making his way down her jaw, and near a sensitive part around her ear

“What do you mean by that,” She quietly asked. She bit down on her lip to stop herself from moaning as he reached the sensitive spot by her ear.

He laughed against her neck "you asking to play truth or dare, me saying yes, you knowing that I've fallen into your trap, so you ask the question, forcing me to admit my undying love for you." He nipped the sensitive area with a smile "I'm on to you and your little game, love. Don't think I'm not."

She huffed a laugh, then said, “That wasn’t my original plan! Or maybe it was, if you’re so on to me, I guess that’s for you to figure out.” Goosebumps rose on her neck as his breath ran against it. She groaned slightly under her breath when he nipped her. She then in turn nipped at his jaw, then returned back to kisses.

Cas leaned into her "so calling Rabdy was part of your plan?" He said gently into her ear, brushing his lips against her earlobe. "Do tell, what was your original plan?" He said with a husky growl

“Fine, you got me… My original plan was that I just wanted to play Truth Or Dare to find out your crush, “ she swallowed. “So I could try to be more like them… I didn’t think that you actually, you know, liked me..” She smiled, then pressed another kiss to his jaw.

His smile faded As he leaned back and regarded her. "You actually thought I liked someone else that wasn't you? He shook his head and glanced at her "you are who I want lyd, who I've wanted to love, and hold and desire, no one that's out there, could ever match up to you." He said sincerely

A genuine smile lit up her face as Cas spoke. She had never felt happier in her entire life. The way he spoke made her feel like she was truly home, like she had found her soulmate. “You’re the one that I’ve wanted to love too.. No one can ever take your place in my heart… There’s no one else I’d rather be sharing this moment with..” She cupped the side of his face with her hand, and wished that that moment, and that feeling of being truly loved, could last forever.
