Yes, another romance, but none of my romances have really gotten to the “good” parts yet!! So, I was thinking something along the lines of best friends turned to lovers, and you know, just some fluffy stuff cause I need something anti drama to calm me down with xD

So, I was thinking that maybe this could be like, a roommate situation, where they’re like, playing truth or dare one night (maybe alcohol is involved lol) and one of them is asked who they like, and they confess, or something like that?

Lydian walked up the stairs to her apartment, grumbling under her breath the entire time. Her day at work had absolutely sucked- all she could think about at this point was getting inside, and drinking away her troubles while watching a romance on Netflix. She pulled her keys out of her purse, then opened the door. She saw her roommate in her peripheral vision, and muttered a quick, “Hey,” before going to take off her coat.
"Hey yourself, you're late, the movie started a while ago." Cas smiled and took the coat from her, putting it in the closet before "How was work?"
Lydian took a deep breath, trying to steady herself slightly, before saying, “Yeah, sorry I’m late. Someone didn’t show up, so I had to cover part of their shift, and we were really busy today.” She rubbed the side of her head, a Migraine coming on. “Don’t get me started on work- I didn’t get that promotion I should have because Britney is having an affair with the manager, so of course she got it..” She sighed.
He pulled her into his embrace "hey, hey it's alright, the CEOs are going to see right through that crap at the next meeting. They'll definitely put you up for promotion and hopefully, fire Britany and that manager." Cas said before releasing her and handing her a Coke "want some?" He asked as he sat on the couch
“Thank you- you always know the best way to handle things, and help me calm down.” She offered a small smile, proof that she was starting to chill out. She took the coke from Cas and said, “thanks,” before sitting down across the couch from him. She reached up and pulled her blonde hair down from the tight bun she had it up in, then leaned back into the couch.
"That's what I'm here for," he said with a wink "We're watching Venom, that ok?" sipping the Coke, he relaxed back on the couch and clicked the Tv on
Lydian rolled her eyes in response to his wink, then said, “Yeah, that’s fine!” She opened her coke and took a drink of it, then set it on the coffee table in front of the couch.
"They say that Marvel cures anything, let's see if that's true," he said as the movie began

As the movie went on, Lydian found herself caring less about her work issues. Once it ended, she stretched her arms over her head and muttered, “I guess you’re right- Marvel does cure everything.” She tucked her legs up under herself, then checked the time on her phone. It was still fairly early. “Hey, you want to do something else? Its still early enough that we could probably get half a movie in if we started it now- or we can do something else if you’d like?”
Cas clicked off the TV "told you and sure, what'd you have in mind?" He asked as he took the empty cans to the kitchen to recycle
“I don’t know- I just, I feel like we haven’t been able to really hang out recently.. Like, this is the first night in a while we’ve both been conscious and up to do something..” she trailed off, thinking. She smirked, then asked, “How much of a middle schooler would I be if I suggested Truth or Dare or Never Have I Ever??” She bit the corner of her lip as she waited for his response.
"very middle schoolish but ill play, as long as things don't get weird," he said with a smile "and yea, its good to hang out again, we need to do it more often."
She rolled her eyes at his comment, but then replied, “Great! And don’t worry, I wasn’t planning on things getting weird. You want to go first?”
"ah sure, at asking questions or answering one?" He said a bit nervousness for some reason
