forum I'm writing a story and need help coming up with a plot

Basically its very basic so far, a bunch of friends get transported to a new land, almost all of them are LGBTQ+ in some way. That has nothing to do with it but yeah, and that's basically it, help?

I'm also terrible at creating plots but I am always willing to ask questions that might get you thinking, if that helps?
Why are they transported to a new land and by whom? Are they there permanently or just to fulfill a quest? (If so, what kind? Why them specifically?) What does each of the characters want and what obstacles can you put in their way so they have to work to get it?
If you don't want to answer these, that's fine too. Happy writing!

How do they react to being transported there? How did they get there? How would they get out (if they need to)? Just search farther into what you want to happen to your characters. Maybe them being LGBTQ+ is the reason for them being there? I'm not great at plots but I'm sure you can think of something :)
