so Im writing a comic about two juniors (hs) and school and other common teenage slice of life things and I find that any plot I come up with is boring! the only interesting things i can make up are how they meet.. and I don't want the story to become dull or cliche after that.
Any ideas for plot are welcome! (doesn't even have to be SoL! always looking for new comic ideas <3)
My favorite slice of life stories try to go for conveying a single message. At first, it just seems like day-to-day life and day-to-day drama, but then as things unfold the reader sees that everything is tying back to teaching them about something. So maybe if you picked a theme you could come up with scenes that tie back to it. You could have multiple lessons too, it doesn't really matter. :)
Some ideas: take your future seriously, hang out with the right crowd, stand up for the weak, don't judge a book by its cover, love unconditionally and sacrificially, try new things to find what you love, etc etc.
