Hey everyone, so i was wondering if you can have multiple chromosomal disorders at the same time, because one of the main characters family members in my book talks about aborting their pregnancy because they had a couple, i think about 6 or 9 chromosomal disorders(i know its a lot, but this information helps the main character solve a case). I couldn't find my answer with a search on google and my family thinks i'm weird because i'm searching it up lol, i'm sorry if it's a stupid question it's just that iv'e never seen someone have multiple chromosomal disorders, especially this many specifically and i want to be 100% sure

This article says that there are only three types of chromosome abnormalities that can happen that give the baby a chance at life. Any more and the child will most likely die in the womb. Well, it's autosomes technically. That's chromosomes 1-21. 22 and 23 are the X and Y chromosomes. So only autosomes 13, 18, and 21 can be affected and allow the person to live.
