True story: I had a crush on this girl and we are like really good friends and my other friend straight up walked up to my crush and told her that I like her. Later she came up to me and asked me if it was true so I said yes and we were chill and them my other friend said that she wanted us to date so bc our friend group of 5 has 2 ppl dating and if we started dating she would be the only single one in the group so we started dating just to spite her and even now when the girl we started dating to spite has a gf me and my gf are still dating.
Update: We broke up mutually but are still friends this is a great example of why peer pressure sucks.

One time on reddit this guy was lik "stop making everything gay there is another reddit for that bblah balah blah" like I am gay and you expect me to not post the gay stuff on a reddit about teenagers. News flash teenagers can be gay too
okay uhh here are some i don't see enough of:
- non-feminine mlm and non-masculine wlw
- transgender characters
- bisexual men
- asexual/aromantic characters in general
- polyamory, especially it NOT being villainised (i love the polyamory subplot sm in the boys in the band, which is a fantastic queer play)
- queer POC characters
- elderly lgbt+ characters
It's so easy to have LGBTQ rep, like, I've been retroactively making characters queer because before they were all straight and cis and its like "Oh, you don't have any love interests? ARO-ACE. You are super flirty? Now you flirt with men AND women. You happen to be a short guy? You're actually a trans guy." It's that easy. It doesn't have to change anything about them, it doesn't have to affect their personality or the plot, they just happen to be queer.
im lesbian, but i would LOVE to see more aro/ace representation! i also wish there were more… clean wlw novels. and i agree w/ @ModernSappho, i just wanna see some silly idiots falling in love.

I wish there were more stories were somebody falls in love with a nonbinary person. In all the lbgtia stories it's either a boy fall in love with a boy or a girl falls in love with a girl. Not enough nonbinaries.
