Oh yeah, Arrietty was based off of a book that I read when I was little, The Borrowers! Have you read it?
I haven't read it but I grew up on the movie, real sunday dinner film haha
The movie is really nice, too. :) I can imagine being obsessed with it if I watched it as a kid. Unfortunately, my parents didn't really know about Studio Ghibli… My children will be raised on those films, though. :P
My kids will be raised on Avatar, Studio Ghibli, Princess Bride, Knights Tale, Merlin and anything else with witty comments and greatness
