Congratulations everyone, it is FINALLY TIME TO START WRITING!!

Who's here on day 1? What is your genre? How much did you prepare? Lets get the check ins going! :)

Honestly, you've just gotta write. You probably want to slap me, but I'm right. Look up prompts online, that's what I did for the longest time. Just write and don't worry that you think it's garbage. We ALL think our work is garbage. It took me three years of slowly building a cool character in my head when I was bored for me to even BEGIN, and I currently have a combined total of 34 different Notebook pages just so I could get whatever weird ideas I have down.

Y'just gotta do it. Nose to the grindstone, write like we all know you can!

Write the first scene that comes to mind. I actually ended up writing the end first, so it doesn't really matter if the first thing you write is the beginning, middle, or end. Even if it's just a short few paragraphs of description of one of the characters you've had rolling around in your head, or a few pages on the implications of Ji-Won's moss beds (I'm so sorry I had to), start somewhere, anywhere.

How are you all doing?
How are your word counts? (I hit 37596 today, but that's partially in thanks to the fact that I'm in wonderland and to give deja vu I can literally just copy almost 5000 words and paste it two chapters later. Thanks wonderland :) Anyways, that will probably get trimmed down later. But yep yep)
Anyone dead yet? Anyone feel more alive than ever?

I'm at 33,614. I don't think I'm going to finish the story by the end of the month (I'm only at 7 chapters lol) but at least the 50,000 word goal seems attainable.

I was up until 2am last night. I was going to try and finish but 2am is where I typically draw the line and go to bed. I have 1796 words left. I'm going to try to finish today, but I have some plans later today so if I don't get to it, I'll for sure be able . to finish tomorrow.

Thanks!!! My dance class was only 15 minutes today, so I'm thinking I do my grocery shopping on the way home, then write until I need to leave for my doctor's appointment

GUESS WHAT YOU GUYS!!?!?!? I DID IT!

I'm so happy there were so many times where I doubted that I'd be able to finish on time. This was my first nanowrimo and I'm so glad I was able to take part. Good luck to everyone else out there trying to finish! There's still a few more day!
