Raf growled back. “You know what else is a hellhounds natural ability? Cuddling.” He pulled Eyros down into the bed, clinging onto the ball of warmth. “What other natural abilities do hellhounds have?”

“ nunya, it's a secret “ he teased

Raf stared at him closely, acting like his normal self, as if he did almost freeze to death in hell. "A: I don't know what you just said and B: Don't you 'it's a secret me'! I have to learn."

“ why?”

Raf ran his fingers through his little furnace's hair. "Because I'm curious. Am I not allowed to be curious? Hellhounds are interesting to me. You're interesting to me." He'd let his on the blankets grow. "And what are we going to do when I'm not swaddled in blankets..? I'm going to freeze to death."

“ the prince of hell is allowed to spend all day in his room if he so chooses”

Raf shrugged. "But that's a bit— boring, don't you think? I want to explore. I'm an explorer, Eyros, not a home body. But that also doesn't mean I want to go outside." He curled up next to Eyros. "It's an ashy forest. What is there to see?" He giggled.

“ make you a deal. Stay by my side tomorrow and I’ll show you everything “

Raf giggled. "What is with you Morningstar's and your deals? Alright, I'll make the deal. I'll stay by your side."

“ good~” eyros said and kissed at rafs neck

"When am I never by your side?" Raf smiled at the kisses, relaxing against Eyros. “If I— theoretically—needed to talk to your father, where would I find him?”

“ anywhere you call his name.” He said softly

Raf raised an eyebrow. “You’re kidding. It’s not like he’s listening to every word that comes out of my mouth. Is it like how kids say Bloody Mary three times in the mirror but with the devil’s name?”

“ yup, It’s like pulling on a dogs leash. Just the same with my name.” He said softly

Raf had sorta gotten used to people appearing out of no where (I assume it’s Luci saying this). “I feel like if say devil, satan, Lucifer, etc… a certain someone will pop out of nowhere, somewhat startling me.” He glared.

“ yes, yes I will”

Raf sighed. “Well.. I need to talk to you.. alone.. without Eyros.”

“ okay.” Lucifer said and mumbled the word eyros did and his body had the same reaction to it.

Raf draped a blanket around his shoulders, sitting up and slipping off of the bed. He knew he couldn’t be away from Eyros for long.

Lucifer let his heat warm raf as they left the room

Raf’s face was blank. He still shivered despite the warmth. “I don’t know if I can remain here. Eyros and I are of two different worlds, and colliding the two has proven disastrous. I’m running out of viable options, but I don’t wish Eyros to suffer.”

“ I might have a solution,” he said softly and took a necklace off of his neck “ it's a hell hound soul, it will keep you warm and give you the ability to become a hound for some time “

Raf sighed. “I don’t know… what are the consequences. Everything has their consequences, and that’s been apparent lately. I’m starting to think this was a bad idea.” He was still trembling, but not too terribly.

“ the consequence is it's eyros’ soul,” Lucifer said softly “ when you use the soul to shift and become a hell hound you weaken eyros. Buy wear it around your neck and you will survive hell “

Raf pursed his lips, staring Lucifer down like he was insane. “Why would you give me your son's soul?” Color started to slowly drain from Raf’s face. “I said something that won’t make Eyros suffer..”
