This one’s pretty straightforward, so I’ll try to not beat around the bush.
I’m pretty confident in saying that most of us picked their profile pic for some deep cut reason, or a really simple one.
Regardless, it’d be really interesting for us to see why we chose that picture out of all the images we have on our hard-drives to embody us.
Since I created this thread, I suppose that I should be the first one to put a response.
You may’ve seen me with the Robot Scarecrow image: the AI generated one. I picked that mainly for utility. Wouldn’t want to have no pfp on the site lol.
Secondly and probably the one you’ve seen more often. The creepy smug X smiley face. Why did I pick that hideous thing to be my face? Where did it even come from?
For the first one, I just decided “If I’m going to bother with the image, it might as well be my image.” Didn’t want to bother with the AI one since it just didn’t feel right for the pfp.
So, my solution to this was to go to Wick Editor (a program that isn’t even made for drawing lmao), and draw the pfp like it was a s#itty MS paint animation from the 2000s.
I eventually decided on the smiley face after trying to draw a masked figure holding an eye with my mouse (Wasn’t good to say the least). After getting annoyed with the proportion of the circle/line eyes, I decided to pull from Murder Drones’ very own Cynwalker and some T-Shirt design I found googling aimlessly.
Then after much irritance, I finally managef to create the little bugger that now serves as the pfp. If he was a real character I made, he’d probably be some evil shadow wraith’s HR spokesperson or something.
Anyway, enough talk from me. What about you?

Right now, my pfp is just smth I made to match with my best friend but i just drew a new one so I’m gonna change it soonish I think
i like guitars (and want to learn how to play the bass/electric guitar) but i also like philosophy and simple questions like "what now?" really hit hard for me because i'm too much of a dork who looks into things to a crippling degree/feels things too deeply
(also just want to say real quick that i love how unapologetically you you are, its refreshing to see someone like you around :))
