Probably Possession-Manipulation. It's very easy to fuck up, and it often leaves the person being manipulated mute, insane, or both.
Also Sense-Stripping is another, where you can strip away someone's ability to do something. It can be returned if the user is powerful enough, but if the spell is cast wrong, it's permanent. It happens to Maia (combined with Possession-Manipulation) leaving her irreversably mute, Lucas (taking away his vision during a fight), and Iam (taking away his ability to speak to prove a point during a meeting).

That's a really creepy concept, I like it! ^^

There's also a rare-ish power that only royalty have where skills can be sort of transferred to others. Oleander in particular does this by draining the immortality from his followers to turn whoever his current wife is immortal.

I have a necklace crystal that grants the wearer the ability to slow or stop all time but them self. The amount of time they can slow time depends solely on the wielder's will power and mental control. It has only had two wielders that have been able to stop time before, and one of those was it's creator. The other was it's final wielder. Who was able to hold time completely still more than once at a time which is extremely difficult. Due to the fact that it's last wielder was a warrior and could fight for long periods of time, he could slow time just enough that everything moved in slow motion for him. And he could hold it for a long time. Therefore moving from location to location killing many people when in an actual battle. No one can stop the wielder from using the necklace, because it works based on mental commands. It's not the most dangerous thing, however it allows it's wielder to do a lot of damage.

Mine is Called Grimm Magic. It uses you're soul and Aura for it's fuel, burning it away slowly, eventually consuming the user. It is ludicrously powerful, and could rend a planet to a cinder. It can do pretty much anything all other magics do.

Anything dimensional is pretty dangerous since..well, you can rip apart entire galaxies using it. Stars, asteroids, planets, etc etc. There’s different branches of it and on a smaller scale it’s people. Getting ripped apart, now that’s epic!
The Eldritch in my story use it to fight each other since most of them are large it’s kinda the equivalent of just chopping off someone’s finger. But if they did it to a solar system..now that’s a different story.
Now, it’s not all just for ripping things apart. Only applying to the smaller scale bit, certain users who master it phase between their universe and another universe similar to their own at unbelievable speeds to phase through walls or solid objects.

An unfortunate side effect to most dimensional magics is the mental state. Or personality. Their mental state might degrade a lot, and they might become a different person. As in, probably selfish.

Fourth wall breaking: I’m being serious. The Red Mountain, a character which may or may not exist possesses the strongest form of it. And he could rewrite the entire plot of the story or just make it so that the universe didn’t exist at all. It could be helpful but The Red Mountain isn’t exactly a good guy.

Cell force it allows you to manipulate cells to enhance muscle and bone strength ,shape shift ,heal ,create life, and make weapons from bone and blood cells only one person in my universe can use it and he is the last of his species.

Right now with what concept of magic I have so far…
Illusion magic. This type of magic has been outlawed in Judalm due to a particular incident regarding the murder of a very important person using illusion magic. Typically people would use illusion magic for simple parlor tricks and other stuff along those lines. However, the people that studied illusion magic and no other magic form… thus becoming very powerful in illusion magic became very dangerous individuals. So not only was illusion magic banned, but also the study of one magic type instead of multiple was banned too!

Frankly, nora is the only source of magic in Clocktwist, so by definition nora-given powers are the most powerful. Though it can’t be learned (Nora is the name for a mineral in the blood, it’s usually genetic) and the given abilities are random (though they often have to do with the forces of the universe, like time, space, and dimensions) the powers produced by having it can be crazy.
Time travel? Making portals to other dimensions? Heck, MAKING dimensions in their own right? That’s powerful. The good thing is that anyone with nora automatically senses others with nora, and so you can’t keep having it a secret.
Oh, and also, if you have nora, congratulations, the Clocktwisters are now on your doorstep and are giving you five seconds to either join them or, like, be banished to a new random dimension that you can’t leave.

Mine is a type called Branding. It bonds a magical being to the witch (They're the only ones who can cast this spell) and allows the witch to control their abilities and soul. They can then turn them into mindless, power-hungry monsters. Even if someone breaks the spell (only the most powerful beings in the world can break this spell) the Branded falls into a coma, mentally fighting the monster in their head.

My most dangerous magic is probably Energy Weaving (although that's just a place name). Essentially, one can transform energy into destructive, raw power and it is used by specially trained military soldiers. It has to be channeled with flawless precision or it goes haywire and can have disastrous results.
Also, it has to be channelled through objects, because if it's channelled through the body of the person it can ruin them (burns, shattered bones, nerve damage, etc) from the sheer force of it rushing through.
I still need to find a suitable name for it that demonstrates the sheer weight of it though :/

Mine is probably going to be found within a certain type of magic I often feel is underappreciated: Illusion. Specifically, a type of Illusion magic I call Reality/Mind Warp. This is a very, very powerful magic type that is very, very easy to mess up.

Basically, what you can do with this magic is literally bend energy, light and the very fabric of reality around a person, effectively sealing them in an alternate dimension. Not only is this traumatic to the victim, it can also lead to a temporal void if there is a lack of focus, an area that slowly grows and destroys reality. This can also effect the user negatively, as it requires an extraordinary ammount of energy and willpower from the user that could lead to burning up the user, quite literally, from the inside out.

However, if done properly, the user of this magic can, with some difficulty, control the size of the area, making it either smaller or larger. If you close off one of these voids, the thing trapped within will be erased from the reality they came from. It is the most extreme form of punishment to do this. If done without the knowledge of the proper authorities, you will be subject to that same punishment.

The Mind Warp aspect comes from being able to completely influence your victims thoughts, words and actions. You could even, with difficulty, completely alter your victims morals and beliefs permanently. Again, this is very dangerous, but for different reasons: it could lead to shattering the mind of your victim and/or you. A literal loss of identity and coherent thought.

There are very few users of magic that can use this specific type of magic. The most notable user of this magic is A Mutable Shadow, a malevolent entity from another universe with mysterious plans and schemes.

Light.
Yes they can manipulate light, meaning colors, meaning photons meaning they can essentially manipulate the electro magnetic spectrum.

It is powerful and in the wrong hands, extremely deadly. Most light users fight using lasers or with weapons that have the light magic ability. The only thing stopping them from destroying everything is “Anima” (like mana in my universe)

My Craft

My protagonist has a power called Death Wings. She has wings with obsidian feathers, and can charge them with energy. Anyone/anything stabbed by a charged feather dies instantly, and the feather shatters. Feathers that have not been charged, can be used as swords, daggers, or throwing knives.

One of my characters is magically connected to a magic weapon called the Gauntlet of Death. He can make things wither away and shorten the days of any living thing. He can also decay only a certain part of a living thing. For instance, since he is a villain, let's say he wants to just wither away your arm. Then that would be what decays.

I think the saddest part about my villain is that he could've used his power for good. He could have used it to kill off viruses and diseases. But because he got so hung up on the idea of "death and decay," he lost sight of all the other good he could do and became the villain my other characters know him to be. (this has nothing to do with being sad about our characters lol, but i'm tired)

My most dangerous is called Zen'aku. Its basically dark magic that corrupt sthe soul, but wha makes it dangerous about it is that it causes moon blight, which is a physical representation of the corrupted soul and soul bonds. Most that learn Zen'aku become unstable and monstrous, and the most powerful are hunted down and publicly excuted.
