”You’ll get him soon. Don’t worry—“ Evelyn said to her… well, might as well call Zeke her boyfriend now. She looked around the place curiously, looking for potential threats if anything. She was glad that she didn’t recognize anyone other than Lancelot so that’s a plus… and still… she was concerned as to what he was talking about on the phone and who he was even talking to.
She didn’t remember what secret crime he had commit, but she remembered him committing… something.

Zeke frowned a little, but he didn't argue. She was right, after all. They'd get him eventually. Just not here. Not now. "Alright. Let's get out of here, then. The longer I look at him, the more I hate him," he said dully. "Where should we go next?" He didn't even question the fact that he'd said we, or the fact that he had no real intentions on them parting ways anytime soon.

(And I thought Evelyn would never get to see the light of day again XD)

Lynn turned to Zeke a bit, her face red from the subtle note Zeke gave. She was happy that they were one singular entity now. Or at least, she’d hoped so. Yeah, that was beside the fact.
”You wanna go to the park?” she asked, her innocent grin shined softly into Zeke’s eyes.

(I CANNOT ABANDON OUR BABIES.)

Zeke couldn't help but smile faintly. She was so pure. So innocent. So beautiful.
And yet… so utterly chaotic and capable of destroying people without batting an eye.
It was attractive, to say the least. Though Zeke wasn't quite ready to say that bit out loud yet, and he thanked God there were no telepaths around, or he'd probably turn eight different shades of red and have to go hide out in a bathroom for awhile to recover.
"Sure," he said finally. "I'd like that."

Lynn gave a cheerful smile.
”Cool, let’s go~!” the rogue pulled the villain in disguise along with her as they motioned downstairs and towards the exit. It was hard to not notice how happy the girl had been since Nightmare said he’d come along. Her positivity was something too hard even for Zeke to push aside. As they would exit, she turned to Zeke one more time. Looking up at him, she pressed her head against his arm before fully clinging onto his arm.
”Mine,” she gave with a teasing tone followed by an equally teasing giggle.

(HOW HAVE YOU BEEN)

Zeke's face reddened, and he wasn't sure whether it was because she had now claimed him as her own or because he liked being claimed as hers. This never would've been accepted a few days ago, and yet… somehow he was fully embracing it now. What had she done to him? How had she managed to make her way into his heart? He didn't even want to acknowledge the fact that he had one 48 hours ago, much less let a bubbly little chaotic girl own it. And yet here he was. He wasn't going to complain too much, though, because there wasn't anything to be done about it, and he was enjoying it far too much.
She owned his heart, and it was clear to him that there would be no revoking it from her possession anytime soon.

Lynn noticed the change in Zeke’s expression. She couldn’t help but smile at it. To think that she’d been able to make such a ‘heartless’ person feel such warmth within the period of around two days and still being able to make him realize that his heart may be closer than he might’ve expected, that was a goal she succeeded in doing. At least, that was what she’ll keep telling herself.

(ALSO, CAN WE DO A TIME SKIP? I REALLY WANNA DO THE HEROES’ RANKING THINGY XD)

It was a peaceful night that had ensued; no chaos, no worries. Like last time, Lynn had invited Zeke to rest in her “spare” room. The only difference this time being that one of her cats, namely Kao, had came into the room and slept on top of Zeke. It seemed like the cats were comfortable around Nightmare now as well. The room was quiet… even though it was already morning time…

The door flew open as the white cat jumped down from Zeke’s body out of shock.
”Good morningggggggggggg~~~~!!!” Evelyn stated excitedly, jumping atop Zeke and hugging him. She snuggled against him, looking at him, again, with a warm grin on her face.

(I HAVE MISSED YOU FRIEND)

Zeke probably should've expected as much, but he wasn't much more prepared for this than he was yesterday morning. And this time, he had almost been in a light sleep, so he jolted "awake" with a start and nearly had a heart-attack the second she flung open the door.
Seriously. This girl was going to be the death of him.
But he was oddly okay with that.
He grunted a little as she hug-tackled him in bed, but despite the fact he was blushing furiously, he smiled a little and actually wrapped his arms loosely around her shoulders this time and gave her a hug. She earned that, at least, with all of her enthusiasm. "Morning."

(SAME HERE—)

Evelyn let out a soft chuckle when she felt Zeke’s arms around her. He was being more open, right? Hopefully. Probably means she did something right.
”The Heroes’ Ranking event is today so I better get prepared… but!!” she laid down atop Zeke’s body.
”Just a bit longer,” her chaotically positive energy was seriously overwhelming at this point. Today was going to be a bit ridiculous, she could feel it. She had to wear her usual ‘Pastel’ clothes outside which would more than likely attract the attention of many. But still, it’s not like she would leave Zeke’s side— well, until it’s time to get on stage and what not.

Zeke let out a light, somewhat nervous chuckle and cleared his throat awkwardly. Had he ever hugged a girl this long before? He wasn't sure. But he did know that he'd never met a girl that made him feel this unhinged. He hated being so unwound by her, but yet… her presence was addictive.
What a weird position to be stuck in.
"So— um— are you excited about the Hero Ranking… thing?" he asked finally, unsure of what else to say. He needed to distract himself from his wandering thoughts somehow, after all.

”Very. I’m curious as to who’s going to get, you know, first place,” She mentioned, nuzzling against his chest with a bright smile. She laughed softly when she felt his hand on her body, looking up at her. ”Kiss me?” She asked with a small and light chuckle.

"O–oh—" Zeke smiled faintly, his face growing warm again. Honestly, though, when wasn't it on fire when Evelyn was around? She was the only person to ever undo him like this. To make his heart constrict and his stomach tie into a knot— but in the best of ways. He swallowed, cleared his throat, let her words bounce around in his head for a short moment. Good grief, was he an idiot for letting himself fall like this— but he couldn't stop. "Okay."

He gently pressed his lips against hers, and, even though this wasn't the first time they'd kissed, it still seemed to Zeke like time stopped for a moment.

But he'd probably never be eloquent enough (or bold enough) to say such a thing aloud.

The heroine had reciprocated the kiss for a long moment, kissing Zeke passionately before she sat up with her body atop him. She smiled down at the man, her hair falling down to block her face slightly before she pushed them back behind her ears. ”I’ll go get prepared now. Breakfast is on the table, alright?” She grinned, leaning down to gently kiss the man’s forehead before she stood up beside the bed from the position she was in. She headed to the bedroom door and turned to Zeke one last time with a wink before she left. ”Don’t let me catch you peeking, alright~?” Obviously, she was joking. She liked teasing the man like that.
