The kingdoms of Laveria and Astoria have been at war for centuries. Now the Great Battle has come, but it has romance at the head. Two high ranking knights are forced to duel in the battle, even if it means that one of them must die.
Kinda based off this image
I had this in PM's with someone but it didn't really work
I'll use the same character, and that was the girl (sorry)
I'll post a template if someone wants to join
This sounds so cool, I’d like to join if possible!
(Wait that looks like Marinette and Adrien)

Name: Sadie Farrowhide
Kingdom: Laveria
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Sadie has pale, unblemished skin with a soft blush. Her eyes are a light green, but it is hard to tell the exact colour. Her hair is wavy and grey-brown in colour, reaching halfway down her back (https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQAVHL6HtAPaOgZSC0HV_pPZENNj9VwYUUY1jebJR7bvXW_1jrT)
Style:
Personality: Sadie is kinda, caring and generous. She is daring and confident, not afraid to stand defiant for what is right. She is fiercely loyal, and it breaks her heart that she must fight her love even though it's for her kingdom.
Likes: Laveria, Wyatt, her family, being a knight
Dislikes: Astoria (only verbally, not actually)
Background: Sadie is the older of two. She was born to the king and queen of Laveria, but has never cared for the life she is being made up to lead. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to be a knight. She trained in secret at first, and entered the training to become a Laverian knight, keeping a helmet on. When she made it in and got top of the academy, she removed her helmet. Her parents couldn't deny her as it was her passion and she was extremely skilled, but she had to promise that it wouldn't get the way of her duty as future queen. She quickly climbed the ranks and is next in line to be Captain of the Guards, and when she becomes queen, she will remain in the position, but will have a partner.
Power/s: Light manipulation. Not only can she bend the light, but she can make it materialised and use it as a weapon.

(yeah my favourite miraculous artists are EdenDaphne and Ceej)
Cool, thnx! Just to clarify, is Wyatt the other knight in the picture or is he someone else?
(oh sorry that was the other person's character
you don't have to call them wyatt)
Name: Ambrose Cadell
Kingdom: Astoria
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: straight
Appearance: Ambrose has thick unruly curly blond hair with darker tones to his shoulders, but he usually keeps it pulled back with a piece of string. His complexion is lightly tanned from training in the sun. His upper cheeks and nose are littered with freckles, and his eyes are dark slate grey with flecks of blue. At 5’5”, he’s shorter than most of his friends/platonic companions
Style: (medieval, knight-y)
Personality: Ambrose is an ambitious individual but is held back with being careful about the morals he holds close to his heart. In training he is relentless, but when it comes to killing another person, sometimes his thoughts get the best of him and he hesitates. He is expertly trained in sword combat, but not so much with a bow and arrow. When not training, he likes to learn foreign languages—although he isn’t fluent in any of them because he is too distractible with new interesting facts/languages—he knows a few words. He’s very affectionate in all of his relationships. Also a terrible liar.
Likes: Linguistics, Sadie, his mother, swords, Dakota (his falcon)/falconry, summer, being a leader
Dislikes: Archery, the cold, Laveria (against it only verbally)
Background: Ambrose was born to a Lord and Lady in the capital of Astoria; his father, who had high hopes for his son, threw him into tutoring at a young age. When Ambrose turned ten, his father noticed his distractibility and instead pushed him into sword fighting. Ambrose continued his training until he turned sixteen, when his mother died of an illness. He forgot his passion when he met a falconer named Lorence, who taught had Ambrose falconry alongside his other studies. Lorence wanted to find a home for a peregrine falcon chick, and Ambrose readily accepted. His father urged him to continue his training , and he reluctantly relented. Lorence took care of, and trained the chick for Falconry until Ambrose was knighted, and he could take him in to his own house.
Power/s: Intuition—he can “see”/sense as far as ten seconds ahead, but the longer he chooses to “see”, the more drained he becomes (fatigued muscles, out of breath, a full ten seconds make it feel like he woke up in the middle of the night). It can be helpful for decisions in battles, but he doesn’t like the feeling of being drained so he doesn’t use it very often

"My Queen," Sadie said, bending on one knee in front of her mother. "I have news from Astoria."
"Rise, Princess," Katherine replied softly, addressing her daughter in her rightful title. "Pray tell, what is this news?"
Sadie stood, hand resting on the hilt of her sword. "They will arrive in Lysander at half past eleven. At high noon, we will battle. It is only eleven now."
Somewhere between Astoria and Lysander, Ambrose and his close friend and cousin, Vincent, led a battalion through the vast terrain.
“What time is it now?” Ambrose glanced over to his comrade.
Vincent squinted his eyes up towards the sky to gage the general position of the sun, “Uh…my best guess is eleven.”
“Excellent..” Ambrose mumbled, looking down at his gloved hands holding the horse’s reins. He became uncomfortably aware of his sword swinging at his side, but he made no attempt to fix it until he arrived at the entrance gates to Lysander.
"Rally the troops," Katherine said. Sadie bowed and then started to walk out of the throne room. "Sadie!" Katherine called, making Sadie turn slightly. "Take care of yourself sweetheart."
Sadie smiled. "Don't worry, Mother. I will." She then walked through the halls and to where the army was readying itself.
One of the knights, a brown haired young man of 23, who was yet to put his helmet on, glanced up at her approach, “Princess,” He dipped his head, lifting a hand to his mouth to cover a smile, “A scout informed us their battalion is nearly here.”
Sadie noted what he said, but she was suspicious. She knew every member of the army, and yet he was an unfamiliar face. "Thank you, knight," She replied, trying to pass off that she was suspicious of him.
The knight dipped his head again in acknowledgement and proceeded to talk to someone beside him who was also getting ready.
From beyond the city walls, Astoria’s approaching army sounded their arrival with clanking armor and the hooves of impatient horses. Ambrose would be their at the head of the battalion.
Sadie marched to the front of the army, climbing up onto her horse Chestnut. She waited for the current Captain of the guards to get onto his own horse.
The captain gripped the saddle to swing onto his horse. He glanced over at Sadie and lowered his chin briefly, “Are you ready, Princess?”
A few other knights mounted their own horses and gradually approached.
She took a deep breath, knowing that she would have to fight Ambrose. That was something Sadie was not ready to do. She sighed.
"I suppose," She replied, trying to sound regal, and not at all disexcited.
The captain nodded empathetically, taking her lack of excitement differently, “I’m never ready for battles. Although the uncertainty dissipated by the time it begins.”
"Normally I'm fine with it," She replied. "But this battle…I just don't know if I'm ready."
“I’m sure you’ll do great..you always do, miss.” He attempted an encouraging smile, “Better than great.”
She smiled tightly. There had never really been any problems with her and Ambrose dating, but now that their kingdoms were at war…it could all fall apart.
Ambrose lifted a hand wipe his sweaty forward, mumbling under his breath, “I really don’t want to do this..” Still, he couldn’t wait to see Sadie’s face again. He only wished it wasn’t in these circumstances.
“Hm?” Vincent glanced over.
“Oh, nothing.” He dismissed
