Lyra bounced lightly on the tip of her toes, as she waited for her name to be called. Unlike Leon, She didn't look a tad bit worried.
She had been training for this day for so long. She had applied for the K.P. at least four times before she had the right qualifications to join, and after that came a half a year's worth of training in Keplarian years. She had pinched herself several times before coming on stage to make sure she wasn't dreaming.
She let her eyes wander a bit, though not moving her head to not draw attintion, eventually letting them fall on Leon.
She was surprised the human was even able to make it this far. To her humans seemed so…squishy. And vulnerable, vulnerable is a words she would use too. They didn't have any thing protecting their body, except clothes, they didn't have a tail (though a lot of races didnt), and they were so small and pale. They almost looked sickly.
She did remember him doing exceedingly well in training, so she had to give him credit where credit was due. Maybe he was stronger than she thought.

"Leon King."

Lyra was snapped out of her thoughts when Leon's name was called.

Leon took a deep breath, still holding his head high. With a stride forward, he began his ascent to the stage.

His steps were nothing but confident, his hands still clenched behind his back. Nothing outside showed his nervousness… well, could it even be considered that? The deed was done. He had been accepted. He had performed wonderfully in the training. He even had surpassed races with tactical advantages.

So maybe the beating of his heart could be tied to excitement instead. The future was unknown, but he was finally doing what he had been wanting his entire life. Or… ever since the war.

With a last sauntering step, he stood aside the general. He pivoted on his heel, keeping his back to the stage’s wall and looking out amongst the crowd. With a final breath of relief, he was awarded his official K.P. seal— a small patch on the left side of his chest, directly over his heart. The infamous sign of the Keepers of the Peace. The general walked back to his stand as Leon’s uncertainty melted away. The rush of adrenaline pumped heat through his veins, as he was finally considered an official member of the K.P.

And with that, the general called the next name.
