(yup)
Talon gave him a sympathetic glance before taking another bite, looking at the adults from both districts talking some feet away. Swallowing, he said, “What do you think happened to Malachi? They said he just vanished. Personally, I don’t think so, but hey, I wasn’t there.”
Alister felt red bloom on his cheeks, his gaze dropping to the floor. He could almost feel his wrist itching again, could almost see the baby blue eyes growing on his skin. He rubbed his aching arm to keep his mind off of it.
“You need to eat more than just a small bowl of mac & cheese, even now,” Bimala was saying. “Hopefully we can keep a substantial amount for you consistent. Luckily we’ll have more rations coming in from District 4, either tomorrow or the next day.”
Noel nodded. “Have they been having trouble smuggling them in recently?”
“Yes…” She began, but then furrowed her brow, studying the two siblings. She cursed under her breath, then dashed out of the room.
Alister watched curiously as she left. Noel chuckled before taking a bite out of the roll. “She must’ve forgotten something again.”
"Honestly? i believe it when they say he just disapeared, its completely possible. It could have been a teleporting ability that someone in the lab experimented on another human but this time, a success. I just hope hes okay and not dead." he glanced at the others as well.
Evan chuckled a little bit as well. "Probably." He noticed when alister gaze had dropped to the floor, red blushing aainst his cheeks and he felt light pink blush tinting his but tried to force it away.
it didnt work one bit.
She could feel the silent stares from Malachi, she didn't know what to think about them in all honestly.I guess im interesting enough to be stared at but i guess i didnt think he would be watching me almost the whole time we ate.
She unlike the other two, ate her meat slowly, savoring the taste of the meat and not making barely any sounds just simply staring at the ground.
“I mean, true, but it’s not like they gave us that much information.” Talon’s gaze drifted to his fingers as he drummed them on the table. “We don’t know enough. And yeah,” his charcoal eyes flicked to Trenton. “Let’s just hope he’s not dead.”
Noel noticed the boys blushing, and she sniggered. Alister turned to face her.
“What?”
“Nothing,” she swallowed the piece of roll. “Nothing.”
He narrowed his eyes, about to say something, but Bimala’s voice reached them first.
“Forgot something again,” she sighed, walking in with a wireless stethoscope.
She kneeled in front of Noel again. “Don’t take another bite. Sit up straight, and breathe through your nose and out your mouth.”
“Sure Bee,” Noel grinned, setting the roll to the side. “Or should I say Mom?”
“Haha, very funny.” She rolled her eyes, setting an disk against Noel’s chest and plugging a pair of earbuds in.
"That is also true." He sighed, moving from looking at the people talking to back at talon.
Noel sniggering made Evan look away and fluster more, he still tried to calm but it still wasnt working. So he continued to look away listening to what they were saying.
he chuckled a bit at the mom comment.
"you are kinda like a mom, B."

He finished tying up his bun and said, “Merci pour le repas,” to the creature in acknowledgment. Malachi’s hands dropped into his lap, his gaze on the drizzle outside.
“Do you… do you know how old you are, chat noir?” he asked.
Another more unimportant question, but it would be quick, whether or not she knew. Even he wasn’t sure how old he was. Maybe 20, 21? He shrugged internally, his mind now drifting to more important things.
She sighed irritated at the nickname he had settled on and insisted on calling her.
"No, i dont know age, do you know your age?" she asked him, staring him down.
He turned to her, smirking with amusement at her intense stare down. He looked back outside. “Not really,” he said casually. “But I figure you might.”
He’d expected that answer, though it left him slightly dissatisfied as to whether she could be older or younger than Evan. Older seems more likely though. Where there’s a second, there’s got to be a first. He at least could count on that. Hopefully he could ask Emery, when they see each other again, to hack into the EH database…

Thunder rolled outside. Arabelle studied the potential search party. August Brightly from District 6, with her invisibility, Eli and Ethan Hughes from District 6, with their spatial intelligence and observance, Vixen O’Shea from District 7, with her artificially enhanced senses, and…
The door slowly opened, and a young man walked in, cautiously looking around. Then he brightened as he spotted Ju; he went over to her and they hugged, pulling apart as they started speaking to each other in Chinese. Arabelle smiled with satisfaction as she watched.
Shun De Luca from District 7, for his fire abilities.
Talon raised an eyebrow as the man entered, but he didn’t say anything.
Bimala smiled, but she didn’t say anything, focused on Noel’s heartbeat. After a moment, she took the device off of her chest, then went over to Alister to do the same. Then she looked up at him curiously.
“Alister, your heart’s beating kind of fast for someone who just woke up. Are you alright? You feeling anxious about something?”
He felt the blood rush to his cheeks again. “U-um, no ma’am, not at all! Just… just a little nervous, that’s all.”
She tilted her head, shrugged, then turned to Evan. “I should check your heartbeat as well.” She pressed the disk to his chest.
“Hmm, your heart is beating faster than normal too. Did something happen while I was gone?”
"U-uh no, nope! nothing happened while you were gone." nervous chuckling as he looked away as he also felt the blood rush to his cheeks. "Noel nothing happened right?" He called on Noel for support but then immediately regretted asking.
he wanted to start crying but ya know, not in front of B. or noel. or Alister. okay, maybe Alister.
Trent also looked over as the new man entered the man. he could hear the thunderstorm getting worse outside.

"You figured i might?" she huffed raising a brow about what he might mean by that. She didnt respond to his question though, staying silent. she turned to the beast, "How long till the storm goes out you think?"
(The new man entered the man)
(aaaaah lol. the new man entered the area)
(XDDDD ok cool. Don’t worry about it, I was close to falling asleep while working and I saw that and it made me laugh)
He shrugged, pulling his legs into a crisscross applesauce. “Well, you said that since I was your target, the aliens would’ve given you certain information about me. They must’ve given you my age.”
The beast sang a few low notes. She had stopped eating, now laying down on her stomach and resting her head on her paws. She slowly raised it, looking out into the distance.
Storm is moving south…. Not sure how big… she tilted her head. Perhaps in an hour? she laid her head back down. Tired and full.
"Hm okay." She turned away from the creature to do a deadpan stare at Malachi.
"your somewhere in your 20's early 20's other than that they didn't know much about your age." she sighed, looking practically dead inside like normal.
Then she felt it again rising in the back her throat, she, once again shoved it down.
"U-uh no, nope! nothing happened while you were gone." nervous chuckling as he looked away as he also felt the blood rush to his cheeks. "Noel nothing happened right?" He called on Noel for support but then immediately regretted asking.

“Ah, he’s the other guy for the search party,” Talon said after a moment. He took a swig of water. “You wanna go visit Evan?”
Bimala turned to Noel.
She wheezed. “Sure, nothing.” She winked at him. Then she gave Bimala a look that seemed to say, I’ll tell you later.
“Fine, I won’t ask,” she sighed. “At least your heart isn’t beating faster for a worse reason.”
Alister glared at his sister. She gave him a maniacal grin in return. In his intense annoyance and embarrassment, he managed to notice how flustered Evan had sounded. That only reinforced his feelings, however. Did he embarrass or confuse him? Gosh, why did he even try to lose himself in the deep, coffee colored pools that were his eyes, or the way his faded hair fell around his face, or how his pink lips curved into that easy smile…?
As he quietly died on the edge of the bed, Bimala stood, oblivious and writing some things down in a notebook. “Hmm,” she adjusted her glasses. “I’ll be back with some stretches later. I’ll give you guys some time to talk, if you’d like.”
She gave Noel a little side hug and left.
And Noel burst into laughter.
His face immediately flushed up as soon as B left and noel started laughing, he let out a groan/whine and turned poutingly towards noel.
"Noeeelllll," he whined pouting in her direction still being extremely flustered and felt like his heart would beat out of his chest.
he tried not to look at Alister but he did, before looking back at noel internally screaming and groaning at how much of a mess he was.
"Yeah, lets go." he picked up his finished meal and empty dishes and set them where they were supposed to go and headed towards the stairs.
She wheezed, sounding like a dying horse. “You two are such dorks!”
“Noel, be quiet. Eat the dang roll.” Alister accidentally caught Evan’s eye again, and he quickly buried his burning face in his knees.
“Wow Ali, chill,” she said, the wheezing gone from her voice. “It’s not like looking into each other’s eyes will burn you to a crisp, although you guys look like you’re burning up right now.”
Much to his own regret, Alister contemplated the idea of punching her in the arm. But he kept his face buried, fuming but silent as Noel started finishing the roll anyway.
He followed Trenton’s example, then walked up beside him and asked as they went up the stairs, “How are the ears?”
“Ooh, I was close. And hey,” Malachi turned to Arden. “What did she say? I wanted to know that too.”
Her deadpan stare only made him stare back. It was very familiar to him; he wore it himself every time he somehow found a mirror to look through during his time in the experimentation labs. He briefly wondered how it ever managed to come off.
"She said the storm was moving south she didn't know how big maybe an hour before it passes and you can go back to your little rebellion."
the deadpan stare only got more lifeless as she forced it down, swallowing it down with a huge lump in her throat that seemed to want to go up. She got up and walked towards he exit leaning on the wall.

"Irritated, its hard to have the cap on them and them being smushed it being comfortable." he sighed, can we say he got dog/wolf life attributes so like he senses the storm and is worried/tense?
He didn't reply only looking away flustered when alister caught his eye, he finally spoke.
"You don't know what its like noel.if you did you would understand." he muttered out, talking about how she didn't get a soulmate yet.
(Ye ye)
“Would you feel comfortable telling Arden about them?” He asked, giving him another sympathetic glance. He paused when they got to the top, leaning on the wall.
She finished the roll, finally quiet. “Maybe I don’t want to know what it’s like,” she murmured. Snow-white daisies bloomed on her knuckles, and she watched dispassionately.
Alister raised his head slightly to peak out, his gaze catching on the blooms. He felt his eyes getting wet for some reason, and he rubbed at them quickly.
“Can you please just apologize?” He asked, his voice cracking. Embarrassment had been a feeling he had made sure to never, ever feel again, and now that it was coming back, he’d been slightly overwhelmed. He hated it with a passion.
Noel’s cloudy eyes flicked to her brother before going back to the daisies. “I’m sorry.”
“Thank you.”
Her eyes flicked back to him and stayed there. “Now you say ‘I forgive you.’”
His brow furrowed, a strange uncomfortableness coming over him. Forgiveness had never really been a solid concept at the prison. “Um… I forgive you.”
It sounded hollow. He hated it.

Your little rebellion.
Perhaps he’d been naive. Why would someone who’d spent their whole lives living in a certain way, with certain ideas, ever want to leave if they don’t see the benefits of leaving? Why would someone join something if they don’t see the benefits of joining?
He watched her get up, an old sorrow coming over him. He filed the info on the storm away in his brain as the creature starting singing softly.
“Thank you,” he said. “Are you alright?”
He was unsure if he should get up as well.
(is he asking kali?)
(Yeah)

"I mean, I guess…I just don't want it to spread from there." He said reaching up and tugging his down, looking around a bit anxiously at the oncoming even worse storm. He didn't catch the sympathetic glance that talon gave him.
maybe I don't want to know what it's like sound somber and just all out wrong. making him feel as if he had said the wrong since and made noel experience a deeper pain. had something gone wrong while he had been captured? he sighed, glancing at the wall and listening to the siblings banter. He did glance back at alister before looking away again.
(can i make a soul mate for noel-)

"No reason to thank me." she spoke out, facing towards the storm ignoring the second question and simply choosing not to answer it as the vision forced its way up again into her brain and covering her eyes even tho she always shut them before it happened it never seemed to do anything, so this time she kept them open.

(Yeeeeaaahhhh hehehehehehe)
“Sure dude. I just think he he should know too.” He pushed off the wall and started down the hallway. He noticed Trenton’s anxiety. “Yeah, it looks bad out there. It didn’t look like they were sending the search party too far out, though.”
“… good enough,” Noel sighed. It only made Alister feel bad, like he could’ve done better. He probably should have.
They were silent for a moment. Alister glance over at Evan again, a bitter taste in the back of his mind throat. He ignored it, saying, “Sorry about that, Evan. Are… are you okay?”
