"Weird…" said Firiko, "Maybe they didn't get enough sunlight?"
"Weird…" said Firiko, "Maybe they didn't get enough sunlight?"
"Don't know…" He said and sighed.
Firiko hummed a little, subconsciously humming their song as he tried to think of something else to say.
Ash hummed a bit also. He was quite new to this experience.
Firiko eventually sighed, "I wish they gave you instructions for meeting your soulmate…" he said.
"Yeah that would probably be a bit useful, for conversation's sake." Ash replied.
"Yeah…" said Firiko, then he ruffled his wings, a slight groan escaping when he realized they were still wet. "And i wish feathers didn't act like sponges…"
(Gtg gym be back in an hour)
"I can help you dry them, would a blow dryer work?" He asked and looked around the room but didn't move
"Yeah, if you wouldn't mind" said Firiko, "I have a blowdryer, just give me a sec…" he said, moving around the couch and down the hall for a moment, coming back with a hairdryer.
"Alright." Ash said. When Firiko came back with the hairdryer he looked and found an outlet and plugged it in.
Firiko sighed, "How do you want to go about this?" he asked, sitting down on the edge of his couch.
"You sit and I just go over your wings with this?" He asked and turned it on feeling it's heat.
Firiko shrugged, "You'll probably have to pry my flight feathers up.. otherwise it won't go through.." he said.
Ash nodded and started to slowly run the hairdryer over his feathers, he lightly lifted up some when he needed to get to the feathers underneath.
Firiko stretched out the wing a little to give the other better access, trying not to twitch away, regretting the fact that he hadn't mentioned how senstive someone's wings tend to be.
Ash continued to dry it being careful with the feathers and checking the heat of the hairdryer occasionally.
Firiko had to force himself to stay quiet as the other brushed over a more sensitive spot, his wing quivering slightly against his will.
"Am I hurting you?" Ash asked and stopped.
"No.." he said.. "My wings are just sensitve…"
"um. Alright. I'll try to be lighter." He said then continued on.
"That'll make it worse.." said Firiko, "It's not the bad kind of sensitive.. just the awkward kind.."
"Oh…um. alright." He Said and continued drying the his wings soon enough he finished and felt they were much dryer.
Firiko finally relaxed a little, his wings immediately ruffling and poofing out like they normally did.
"Is that better?" He asked hoping it had helped.
"Yeah.. much.." he said, leaning back to look up at Ash.
