The hunter laughed, "Really? Keys?!" he laughed.
Firiko whimpered, "M-My pocket… o-n my thigh…" he said quietly, trying to tell Ash he had a dagger in his pocket, mostly out of habit than anything. But there nonetheless.

Firiko whimpered, "M-My pocket… o-n my thigh…" he said quietly, trying to tell Ash he had a dagger in his pocket, mostly out of habit than anything. But there nonetheless.
Ash nodded and dropped the keys then pulled out Firiko's Dagger. "Back off and leave us alone." He said and growled. Though he was probably as intimidating as a newborn kitten.
The second hunter paled a little at the dagger, but the first approached them both. Firiko tried to stay awake, summon his flames to protect them, anything.
"I won't hesitate to stab you." Ash said to him as he got closer. He held the dagger steady as he pointed it at them.
The first hunter glared. The second one grabbed the first's arm. "Maybe we better leave 'em… we can come back for 'im later.." he suggested.
The first one scoffed. "Now's the perfect time!!"
"Not if we has a witness" said the second.
"I will scream." Ash said threateningly as he kept holding the knife at them.
That did it, both of them backed off and left. "We'll be back" said the first.
Firiko's wings drooped as the tranquilizer sank completely into his system, and he sagged heavily against the other, almost unconscious.
Ash held him up by wrapping his arms around Firiko's waist. He couldn't really pick him up, Ash wasn't that strong. He pulled Firiko out of the woods go to the road and Haled a cab. Soon it came and next thing they knew they were in Ash's apartment. Ash had gotten them up through the elevator and put him down on the couch.
Firiko was only barely conscious, and his wings flopped inconveniently over Ash's shoulders as the other took him to his apartment. By the time they got to said apartment Firiko was completely unconscious.
Ash looked at Firiko who was now on his couch. He had no idea how long he would sleep or anything. So in the meantime he decided to read a book.
Firiko came to several hours later with a low groan. "A-Ash…?"
Ash looked up, put down his book then rubbed his eyes. Ash walked over and kneeled next to the couch, "hey Firiko."
Firiko looked over at him with relief, "Th-Thanks…"
"You're welcome." He said with a smile.
Firiko relaxed slightly, curling in on himself shakily. It'd been awhile since he'd had to deal with that kind of situation.
"Everything is alright now. They left." He whispered. then got up for a moment and came back in with some water.
Firiko nodded sitting up and wrapping his arms/wings around himself to try and calm down.
Ash sat on the floor in front of the couch silently.
