She nods and smiles, ruffling Eva's hair gently. "I figured you'd say as much. And don't worry about it, I can drive." She stood a little bit and smiled, "That's because I go for quality and quantity." She laughed warmly, adjusting her glasses against her face. She didn't really need them, they more had sentimental meaning to her. She sets Pom Pom down and puts him on his leash before offering her hand. "Shall we then?" She asks cheerfully, taking Eva's hand anyways, her hair swaying back and forth as she walked over to Eva's car. "You left it running again." Isolde glances at Eva… yes… her days were always brighter when she got to spend time with her closest friend… that word still felt bitter in her mind. Eva's stupid boyfriend… the only thing that refrained her from punching that mans face in was because he was dating Eva.
"As being the quantity type of friend, I can vouch for that statement." Eva teased as she walked alongside the pair, hand in hand with the one woman she so desperately loved but hated herself for loving all at the same time. Looking down at her feet when she glanced over at her to remark on how her car was still on, Eva shoved Isolde just a little bit before going to shut it off quickly.
"I know… shut up." Her reply was nothing short of a giggle as she hopped in and out of her car in a flash, shutting and locking the doors behind her.
Slipping into the passenger seat of Isolde's car, she placed Pom Pom onto her lap and secured her seatbelt into place. "To infinity, and beyond!"
She laughed a little bit, squeezing Eva's hand gently with affection. She adored Eva, she couldn't be more grateful for the woman beside her. She had been there for Isolde through so many rough patches, had guided her through so many things. She was helplessly in love with a woman that was already taken. She laughed a little bit as she watched her friend turn off her car before laughing a bit at the cute reply. Eva was always so cute when she was "mad" Isolde always saw it as precious. Pom Pom "awooed" in agreement, happily settling into Eva's lap. Isolde chuckles before getting into the drivers seat, hooking up her phone and starting the car. She turned on their playlist. It had evolved and changed over the years, but it was their playlist. Their music that they knew by heart. They shared practically everything… but Isolde never confessed. She knew that Eva was bi. But by the time she had mustered up the courage to ask Eva out, her dick of a boyfriend had already swept her off her feet. Isolde once again, forced her heart back into her chest, and locked it there. But it still ached, still yearned for the woman that she still held hands with as they drove. Still yearned to taste her lips, still yearned to take her on dates and make her smile. But for now, all she could do was stay best friends with the woman she adored so much. They made it to her apartment and she smiles a bit, "What do you wanna do first?" She asks, turning her car off and hopping out.
(I think I have a plot thing in mind)
Shoving the thoughts into the back of her head, Eva let her thumb rub against Isolde's hand as she drove, bringing it to her other hand on her lap almost absentmindedly. She could never tell if it was her hands that were always cold or Isolde's, but whenever they held hands it sent shivers down her spine.
The real reason she'd gotten into the relationship with her boyfriend was to try her best to forget about her feelings for Isolde, but the truth was that it had only made them stronger. Day by day it was getting harder to control herself, to keep herself from doing the thing she despised the most, cheat.
Then again, what's the harm? It's not like he hasn't done it before. Shaking the thought out, she focused on the music, a little too tired to sing but not tired enough to reject vibing. "Huh, I don't know. We could go grab some snacks for munchies?"
(Ou? Tell me!)
Isolde loved holding hands with Eva, her hand always fit so perfectly in hers. She wanted so badly to bring Eva's hands to her lip and press slow and soft kisses along her finger tips, wanted to kiss up her arm, and - no- enough of that. She had a boyfriend- an abusive ass boyfriend. A boyfriend that she wanted to beat to a fucking pulp because of how he treated her. She had heard about the cheating, the lying, and she knew that Eva's boyfriend didn't use a condom, didn't care about safety. Isolde had been pining after Eva for so long… had wanted to kiss her senseless for so long… Eva was so loyal to that bastard, and yet he treated her like a ragdoll. She hated him for it. Eva deserved the world.
She snickers, "I thought you might say that. I picked up your favorites before I got your text." She hops out of the car once they were at her apartment, letting Eva out as well. "Come on then. Let's go get high."
(Damn it I thought I wrote it down but I didn't and now I forget it! I'm so sorryyy :((( )
"Let's go get high."
She sat there for a moment, just looking at their hands with a little bit of pain in her heart. Those hands, those gentle, kind, beautiful hands that had held her every time he'd hurt Eva, every single time. Those hands that she would never be able to hold in the ways she wanted to hold them because of all those threats her boyfriend had dolled out over time. She hated him with her whole body, but she still forced herself to love him, to try and find the good in it.
Eva couldn't be the one to let go first, so she sat there, thinking. Wanting to lean over and press her lips to Isolde's and simply let Isolde make her forget her own name. Squeezing her thighs together at the thought, she looked up at the other, watching her eyes and waiting for her next move.
(It's okie! If you remember feel free to let me know!)
She noticed the look on Eva's face and gently pulled her out of the car and into a tight hug. "I've got you." She murmured quietly, her eyes soft as she held her best friend. "I always do." She murmured. She smiles and pulls away to look at Isolde for a moment, squeezing her hand as Pompom hopped out of the car as well. She locks the car and guides Eva up to her apartment. She was on the middle floor luckily. She unlocks her door and pushes it open, letting Eva in first and then watching Pom Pom enter as well. She shut the door behind them and walked to the kitchen where she kept some of her stash. "How high do we want to get tonight?" She asks curiously, glancing over at the other.
"High, but not mushroom high. Does that make sense?" She walked up the stairs with the little dog in her arms, following the other and waiting for her to open the door. "Like, the type of high that makes you a little more aware, but not on the verge of greening out." She laughed at her explanation, placing Pom Pom down on the apartment floor and stepping in. Taking her shoes off, Eva watched her walk over to the kitchen as she pulled a bag of papers from her own purse. "Just got strawberry-flavoured ones," she held the zip-lock baggie up in the air triumphantly for a moment before sliding over to the kitchen.
She laughs and nods, "Yeah. I understand that." She felt the same. Isolde didn't want to get high to the point where she couldn't remember. She feared that if she ever got high she'd let something slip. She feared losing Eva. She feared that she might say something to the woman so dear to her. She laughs a bit and grabs a glass and filled it with water, downing it before glancing at Eva. "Hell yes! Best kind, no cap." She hugged Eva gleefully. Pom Pom barked and circled around them happily. She giggles a bit and turns on their music again, dancing in the kitchen before going and locking the door, opening a window and shutting blinds. She only wanted time with Eva and the world wasn't going to interrupt that.
(I was wondering did you want to do a slow burn with this?)
(It's really up to you. It can be fast, since they've technically been crushing on each other for years)
(Yess haha many, many, long years. I just wanna make sure I don't go too fast or too slow, yk? I have a tendency to go too fast on romance rps haha. Also, pardon the quote marks, my computer is being a bitch. )
Boogieing over into the kitchen, Eva laughs softly at the other´s moves. ¨Such a skilled artiste¨. She loved to tease the other, especially about this since they both took ballet classes when they were super tiny. Dancing her way over to the other, she let herself be a little risky and move into her body for just a moment, breathing her in before moving away. ¨When did you wanna smoke, now or later?¨ She really only wanted to know because her boyfriend always wanted her to call him after she got off work to make sure she wasn´t doing anything he wouldn't approve of.
Isolde smiled at the other, despite being a boxer, she still had the grace from when she was little. She was just stronger now. She could easily pick up Eva now and she loved that fact. She danced with Eva for a minute before humming and glancing at the time. "We can get high later. Right now let's just enjoy ourselves and dance the rest of the day away." She snickers and presses close to Eva. She was close enough that she could swoop down and kiss Eva if she wanted to. And… she wanted to. But she also knew that Eva hated cheating. Eva was dedicated to her stupid boyfriend. So Isolde shoved the thought down. She'd leave it for now. Right now, she was focused on having a good time with Eva.
Eva couldn't help but move a little closer, their faces only a couple of inches apart. Her lips were desperate for her touch, her eyes meeting with Isolde´s. Her heart pounded in her ears and everything went away, her hands moving to hold the other´s waist as she moved closer, intent on closing the gap. Her lips parted, eyes closing…
Ring tone
The music faded back and her heartbeat picked up, hands moving away as she turned around to pick up and answer the phone. Her back was to Isolde when she picked up, wincing at his voice.
"Hey, Baby…No yea I was just listening to some music… my day was good."
Isolde wanted to desperately close that gap, wanted to taste those soft, sweet lips. She was so close to Eva, her warm scent, her beautiful eyes, all of it captured her. She shut her eyes, letting Eva do as she pleased, only to wince the moment the ringtone sounded. She swore mentally, that stupid fucking boyfriend. Of course he had to ruin it when she was so close. She wanted to scream as she watched Eva answer the phone. She wanted to cry. She hated Eva's boyfriend with every cell in her body. But she stayed silent, moving away from that spot and quietly moving to the couch. She might as well let them have their conversation.
Tucking her hair behind her ear, Eva´s face flushed softly at the thought of what might've happened if the phone hadn't rung. Her lips would press to hers, and then the moments in between them standing in the kitchen and her sitting on Isolde´s lap as they…
Noticing her silence, Eva´s boyfriend asked her what was up, her face flushing with alarm. ¨What do you mean?¨ She asked this softly, careful not to set him off or anything. ¨Oh, no… no I´m fine just a little tired. W-wha…. I´m not sending you photos right now. I´m just tired like I said.¨ When he wouldn't take no for an answer she just resulted in lying about not shaving knowing that he despised body hair. ¨I haven't shaved since you last saw me. Yes, I know that was two days ago silly." She tried her best to keep that light, innocent voice when she spoke to not aggravate him more. The last time he didn't get pictures of her he had… well nothing was consensual the next time he visited.
¨Yea… ok, Love you…b-¨ before she could finish he´d already hung up.
Isolde wanted to throw something, wanted to hit something, anything to get the anger off of her chest. She was so mad. She was tired. She hated Eva's boyfriend with every bone in her body. The things he made her do, the pain he caused her. All of it was enough to make her sick with anger and seethe with rage. She watched to punch him in the nose, wanted to strangle him- but she held herself back… she held herself back because he was Eva's boyfriend. But god he was the worst boyfriend in the world. She only felt more angry when her boyfriend started pressuring her into pictures, and by the time the call was over she was fuming. But she simply walked over to Eva and gently wrapped her arms around the other. Her hands were gentle as they wrapped around Eva's waist. To say it simply, she wished she could just kiss Eva senseless and take her away from her stupid ass boyfriend. She wanted nothing more than that. She wished she could say "I love you" over and over and over again.
Eva worked hard to bite back tears, only half sucessful as a fat droplet of water trailed down her face. Snuggling into the hug, her hands gently combed through the other's hair as she tugged back the urge to begin trailing kisses down her neck. She wanted Isolde to make all the pain go away.
"I-Its fine… he just had a rough day…" Eva had gotten lazy with making up excuses for him. She knew Isolde knew, but if she told her the full extent she was sure he'd be damn near dead already. In that, kill you friend's abusive boyfriend in a platonic kind of way. Isolde could never love someone as broken as her, or so at least she thought.
"So, pizza sound good?"
Isolde kept her close, her eyes shutting as her hair was played with. She wanted to make the pain go away, wanted to give Eva everything and more. She wanted to see Eva happy… like she was before her prick of a boyfriend popped up. She sighed deeply and shook her head. "That doesn't give him a damn excuse to treat you like that." For the most part, she had avoided shit talking Eva's boyfriend. She wanted to support her friend so desperately. "He treats you like shit, uses you as he sees fit. "Aren't you tired of it?" She whispered, cupping Eva's cheek. Pizza could wait. "You deserve the world and has he ever given it to you? All he does is cause you pain, all he does is abuse you." Her voice wavered. "I hate seeing you in pain, damnit. You rarely smile anymore." She whispered, wiping away Eva's tear. "I miss your smile. Even when you do smile it's… sad… hesitant. Like you're afraid." She whispered. She was crying too at this point, the salty tears trailing down her cheeks. She had never cried. It was a rarity to see her cry. She had always been so tough, a rough around the edges kinda gal.
As she watched the other speak and sob her heart broke open. It was all happening before she could stop it. Her hands cupping Isolde's face, her face moving closer to hers, lips falling open and her eyes falling closed. Eva barely stopped herself, her chin lifting up to kiss Isolde's forehead. ¨Hey, hey I'm fine… really I'm fine¨. She gave her best smile as those beautiful eyes continued to fill with tears. Her lips begged to be touched, it made her soul ache that she couldn't kiss her until she was breathless. Until neither of them could breathe anymore but they'd simply let themselves drown in each other.
Eva couldn't say anything other than that, her tongue felt like it was twisted up in her throat. She couldn't lie to Isolde, but she wanted to reassure her so badly.
She wished with every inch in her being that the other had kissed her lips. That the boyfriend was a lie, that everything regarding her relationship with that abusive dickwad was a lie. She wanted to kiss Eva so desperately, and for a moment she thought Eva was actually going to kiss her, but her heart sunk when her forehead was kissed. "You're not." She whispered. "I know you better than that. We've known each other for years, Eva." Her eyes were still stimming with tears. "At this point I know you better than myself." She whispers, pulling Eva closer. She knew that Eva hated the idea of cheating, but their lips were so close, she could feel Eva's breath flutter against her cheeks. She pressed a soft kiss to Eva's forehead, wanting to trail closer to her lips. She held herself back however, knowing that Eva despised the idea of cheating. But her boyfriend had done it so many times… Isolde had kept track… at this point, he had cheated more than the fingers on both her hands. "Eva… please close your eyes." She whispers softly, cupping Eva's cheek. "Push me away if you don't want me to move closer." She murmured, taking a moment to take in Eva's facial features. One tiny kiss. One time was all she needed.
"Iz y-you, don't ever have to worry about me. I'm not worth you hurting, ok? I'm not…" Her eyes lashes tickled Isolde´s neck when she kissed her forehead, her heart going a mile a minute. Shifting easily closer to the other, Eva looked into her eyes when she cupped her cheek. Nuzzling into it, tears streamed down her face at the sight of the other being so sad. Butterflies erupted in her tummy, her free hand mindlessly moving up to Isolde´s waist.
"Iz… what´s happening?" Without a second thought, she obeyed, letting her eyes flutter closed. Her breathing became irregular and she was sure Isolde could tell. That with them being this close, every single time she had tried to hide her heartbeat and heat, was a big fail. She felt her body shaking, and all her senses heightened, her hand pulling her closer thoughtlessly. She´d let Isolde close the gap because Eva felt like she was about to faint already.
"I'm always going to worry about you. You're my best friend…" She whispers, her eyes firmly on the woman in front of her, fear twisting in her gut. She was always worried about Eva. She was always busy caring about whether or not the woman in her arms was okay. Her thumb gently swiped over Eva's cheeks, wiping away the tears. She was always so gentle with Eva.
"You can pull away if you want to." She murmured quietly, pressing closer. She knew what she was doing was a big risk, but it was better than seeing her best friend in pain. She wanted to fix whatever she could. For a moment, she simply gazed at the other, her eyes flitting over Eva's features, taking in the smaller female, a small smile on her lips before she slowly moved closer, pressing her lips against Eva's. She shut her eyes, Eva's lips were so soft… they were softer than velvet, sweeter than sugar, and more addictive than heroin. She didn't want to pull away.
Entire body tingling, all of the hairs on her neck and arms stood on end as Kena spoke, her breath brushing over her face. It was a relief to have her this close, to know that she was fully protected from anything and anyone. And then she came closer and her heart beat right out of her chest. It was happening. The moment she couldn´t have ever prepared herself for. But…
When Isolde kissed her she melted into it, kissing her back eagerly. The other tasted of menthol and gummies and it drove her crazy. The hands that had once been fine to rest on her waist were soon on her jaw and in her hair, body pressing against Isolde´s as the kiss became open-mouthed and sloppy. The moment a whimper escaped her Eva pulled away, breathing heavily.
¨Isolde… what about him I-…. He´ll kill me. He´ll kill you.¨
Isolde felt electricity snap up and down her spine at the feeling of Eva in her embraces. She loved how they just fit so perfectly together. She kept her arms around Eva as they kissed, a soft hum leaving her lips at the feeling of Eva's hands in her hair, and a soft look of love in her eyes. She was a bit surprised that Eva had kissed back, but it made her so unbelievably happy. She pressed closer, because god, there was nothing more addictive than Eva.
When Eva pulled away she took a moment to look over the female in her arms, gods she was so perfect. Her eyes narrow at the mention of the dickwad of a boyfriend that was controlling Eva. She shook her head and smiled, "No. He won't. He knows better than that. If he doesn't, so be it. I'll take care of him myself. I'm more than capable of doing so." She rests her forehead against Eva's and pressed a quick kiss to the others lips. "But… that's only if you want me to."
