He gave the tiniest of smiles. "Alright. I can make some." He glanced at Faith and Lillian. "You guys want some?"
He gave the tiniest of smiles. "Alright. I can make some." He glanced at Faith and Lillian. "You guys want some?"
"Yeah, I can go for pizza," Lillian responded with a smile making her way towards the kitchen.
"Okay." Luke wandered over to the freezer. "It looks like they have pepperoni and chicken bacon ranch. Any preferences?" He pulled some powdered chocolate from the cupboard, put it in a pot with some milk, and put it on the stove.
Angel shook her head, hoping he would see so she didn't have to answer out loud.
She didn't care what it was. If it was pizza, she'd eat it. Unless it had anchovies. Eugh. Just the thought made her shudder.
"Pepperoni," Lillian called out as she ended up sitting on the counter. She didn't see any chairs and she was still waking up.
"Okay." Luke got the pizza ready and leaned against the counter. "So, how did you all get here?"
"Drove a motorcycle," Lillian replied quickly swinging her legs, "I don't like cars."
Shoot, what do I say?
Angel simply didn't know how to explain a teleportation key without freaking someone out.
Well, she sort of walked here…so…
She started murmuring under her breath, trying to figure out what to say to them.
Faith noticed the way the younger girl was acting and gave her a reassuring smile. "It's nice to meet you all. Sorry I woke you gals. Thanks for being so welcoming, though. It's nice." She got up from the back of the sofa and took out a two-liter bottle of Sprite from the fridge. "Anyone want a glass? I got this, ginger ale, and Coke." Letting out a heavy sigh, she said, "I'm pooped from that drive…ten hours alone with nothing but your thoughts has gotta break someone. I hope you guys don't mind if I just crash on the couch after this," and chuckled softly.
"You didn't wake me. I was already up." Angel managed, loud enough to where Faith could hear her. Then she went to twiddling with her thumbs.
"You don't want a room?" Luke asked, taking the hot chocolate from the stove, and the pizza from the stove. "Because there are a lot of bedrooms in here. You can use one of those."
Lillian watched the pizza come out and reached for a slice of the pepperoni pizza, "Yeah. Just take one that doesn't have anything in it and crash."
"There are so many rooms, I'm surprised that there isn't anyone else here, even if they're in a permanent sleep." He grabbed out some paper plates. "Seriously, though, what do you guys think is happening?"
"I have honestly no idea," Lillian responded as she took a bite of the pizza, "And honestly, I'm kind of okay with everyone just being asleep. I mean, there's 4 of us awake so clearly the universe wanted us to be awake."
"Or maybe we just cheated the system," Luke said, shrugging. "I dunno." He slumped down onto a chair in his usual bored slouch, and grabbed a piece of pizza.
Faith was quiet for a moment, thinking. "It's kind of odd…I wonder if there's anyone else elsewhere in the world awake. I suppose we'd find out one way or another." She took a slice of pizza and poured herself a cup of cocoa, then sat down on the edge of a chair next to Luke.
Angel got some pizza and hot chocolate, then went back to the couch and basically buried herself in it. Seriously you could barely see her from between the cushions.

Lillian stayed on the counter making sure she could see the others. She swang her legs a little, "Maybe they're in a different timezone. So they'll be waking up later?"
"Or they don't have the technology that we do." Luke shrugged. "Maybe America is the only country with this sort of problem."
How are we going to find out what caused this? What if they never wake up? Angel wanted to voice her concerns, but didn't want to interrupt the others. She finished her food and sat her cup on the coffee table before curling up into a ball. How am I going to fix this? The girl rocked back and forth slightly, attempting to calm herself. I was fine yesterday. Why can't I be that confident now?
