(Sorry, guys. Like Shade said, I'm not the most active person, and I'm in a million and three roleplays rn XD. But I will try my very hardest to keep this active, I promise!)
Luke parked his car outside the safehouse. He wasn't sure if he was the first one here or not, but he hoped he was. He got out, pulled his bag out of the trunk and slung it over his shoulder. He walked up the stairs to the door. He pulled his phone from his pocket and asked Is anyone here yet?
Lillian had gone as fast as she could. She spotted a car and a guy walking up to it and figured that was the place. She made a U-turn on the bike, illegal definitely but who cared, and parked behind the car. Her phone buzzed and she figured it was the dude asking if anyone was here yet. She got off her bike and took off her helmet and walked up to him, "Hey, you're Luke right? I'm Lillian."
Faith's phone pinged while she was raiding a deserted mini-mart somewhere in eastern Nevada, stocking up on food and caffeinated drinks. She stopped outside her car to respond, juggling two full bags of loot. im about halfway there, she typed. 5 more hrs, according to my gps. im in nevada somewhere oof.gonna try and get all the way there by tonight dw
That's no fun. Luke sent the girl in front of him a small smile. "Hey." He waved to her, instantly turning into the carefree, playful, kind guy he liked to act as. "Yeah. I'm Lucian. Luke. You want to go inside, or see if the last person will come?"
Lillian checked her phone and made a face at the message. The poor girl, she was probably following speed limits and traffic rules. She looked to Luke smiling and shrugged, "Don't know. She said she would be fine on her own, but who knows. I'm thinking we should wait a few more minutes."
"Probably." Luke shook his head. "How did you get here so fast?" He shrugged. "Then again, it's none of my business." He jerked his head at the safehouse behind them. "How do you think we'll get in?"
Angel woke up from her nap to the sound of a notification.
"They're here!"
She ran down stairs as a wave of anxiety washed over her.
She looked over to Anna, who had been roaming around the house and asked, "Could you go keep an eye on him?"
Yeah, sure. The feline padded up the stairs and curled up with Corwyn.
Angel dusted her clothes off and opened the door.
"Hey, guys. C'mon in. Rooms are down the hallway, and there's grilled cheese in the fridge if you're hungry."
Luke was startled when the door opened with such force. "Um," he managed to get out. "Hi?"
He shook his head. "You have this all planned out, don't you?" He shook his head with a chuckle. "Thanks."
Lillian looked at the girl slightly dumbfounded. She looked a little too young to be able to drive, and considering she had to be the one from texas, how in the world did she get here so fast? Was this her safe house? She kept her thoughts to herself as she looked to Luke, "Um, I'm guessing you're Angel?"
"You're welcome." Angel said, smiling at Luke.
Turning to the girl, she answered, "Yep! My room is upstairs, but you guys can have any of the ones in the hallway." before walking to the kitchen and getting out the sandwiches.
Lillian nodded and stepped into the house. She found the whole thing strange, but she wasn't going to question anything. Especially after what was going on with everyone asleep. She looked around the safehouse, "So this is your house? I thought you lived in Texas."
"Oh, I do. I just figured if we were meeting up in Utah, we needed a place to stay. Don't worry, no one's here. I think they're on vacation."
The short girl then climbed on the counter to reach the cups up in the cabinet. Jumping down, she grabbed the tea pitcher from the fridge.
Lillian watched her still dumbfounded. Who in the world was she and how did she get the house? She kept quiet figuring that she shouldn't actually be questioning this type of stuff. She just nodded and kept an eye on her, "Got it."
"Here you go!" Angel dished out the sandwiches and tea, before putting the pitcher away.
Lillian smiled a little as she shook her head, "Um, thanks, but no thanks. I'm not hungry at the moment."
"Alrighty. I'll just leave it here for you, k? I'll be upstairs if you guys need me." Angel waved as she ascended the stairs.
She laid down by her brother, cuddling him and her cat, and humming random tunes.
(hey guys im back! this aint dying on us no siree lol)
It was after ten at night, local time, when Faith finally reached the town. She drove through the neighborhoods, searching for a house that had its lights on. Once she found it, she parked across the street, grabbed her backpack and the food she had left, and warily approached the door. She peered in the window and knocked.
(No it cannot!)
Luke was awake. He had massive insomnia, and so he rarely went to sleep before 2 in the morning. He was scrolling through some shows on Netflix, looking for anything interesting, but he was listless. He had wandered around for a while, exploring, before finally settling on the couch to wait for the last person.
A knock on the door sounded, and he started. He stood up and opened the door. "Oh, hey," he said to the girl outside. "Faith, right? Come in. Everyone else is here."
Faith smiled gratefully at the sight of another person, and hefted her bags. "Yep, that's me. Thank God, someone else I can actually–see and talk to. I brought food and drinks, not sure if we need any. But I raided a gas station and just took all I could carry. I'm sorry I'm so late…I hope I didn't wake anyone." After a moment of looking around, she walked in and set her backpack down next to the door, then took the food to the kitchen. As she was putting away the provisions, she asked, "Are the others sleeping?"
Lillian yawned as she left her room and out into the main room where she saw Faith. She was still wrapping her head around the entire situation, but at least they were all here now, "Not anymore. Nice to meet you, Faith."
"Well, I'm not, and she's not." Luke jerked his head in Lillian's direction. "That's Lillian, I'm Luke." He held out a hand. "Want me to bring your bags to a room?"
Angel woke from her light sleep half an hour ago. She could hear voices now. She quietly crept from the bed and snuck downstairs to see Luke and Lillian talking with another person.
That must be Faith.
She didn't want to interrupt anything, so she kind of just stood there watching, not knowing what to do.
Luke glanced over and spotted Angel in the doorway. "You're all awake?" He asked, with an amused smile. "This is Faith." He shook his head. "Well, since we're all awake, do you guys want anything to eat? Pizza, or hot chocolate, or something?"
"Oh, hi." Angel whispered under her breath. All the confidence from yesterday seemed to have disappeared.
She quickly ran over to Luke and sat down by him so he could hear her mutter into his ear, "Yeah, pizza and hot chocolate sounds good."
