Hailee came out, finishing off her loose plait. "That was quick," Matteo said.
"I'm a girl. We don't all take hours."
Hailee came out, finishing off her loose plait. "That was quick," Matteo said.
"I'm a girl. We don't all take hours."
Alex nodded, "True, let's get going." She opened the door for the others and grinned.
They walked through the door, talking. Hailee Steinfeld's Most Girls started to play and Hailee answered her phone.
"Anyone against going to go get pizza? Any suggestions?" She looked around and closed the door behind herself tightly, waiting for their answers.
"No, it's fine. I'm just out for lunch." … "You want me to do what?!" … "No! I won't!" … "It goes against everything I stand for!" … "Please don't call my number again. If you need to contact me, call my manager." She hung up.
Alex glanced at Hailee, "Who was that? Also, pizza?" She glanced at Matteo and Gabe as well and raised an eyebrow.
"Someone who wanted me to speak at their conference," Hailee sighed. "But they wanted something I wasn't willing to give. Pizza sounds good, by the way."
She nodded and headed towards her favorite pizza place, hoping that the others were following her. "See, I usually don't get offered anything like that, and I tend to just forget my phone by my bed and I just leave it there all day."
"Yeah, but I have a proper job," Hailee retorted. "If I left my phone at home, I could miss a bunch of jobs."
Alex laughed, "That is also true, I don't know what I would do if I had a proper job." She grinned and nodded, "A proper job.."
"Your job is not being a superhero, if that's what you're wondering. We don't do that for money: we do it to keep people safe."
"I know, I know, though a little money every once in a while is appreciated." She continued walking to the pizza place with a grin, "Almost there."
"It's not like we get any," Hailee muttered under her breath.
Alex smiled and stopped in front of the small shop, over exaggerating all of her movements, "And here is the best pizza place in New York, you're welcome."
Matteo smirked™, and Hailee slapped his shoulder. "I've always wanted to eat here."
"You can buy individual slices of we can just choose one large pizza to share." She said with a shrug and a grin, "I always get he five cheese one, but I've heard that all of hem are good."
"Meatlovers in the hourse!" Gabe yelled.
"I second that!" Hailee shouted.
Alex nodded, "And Matteo? What's your vote?" She glanced at him and smiled, looking at the other two.
"I'll happily have whatever. I eat anything. I'll probably just steal slices from yours."
"Alright, a meatlovers and cheese, any objections?" She walked inside and stopped at the cashier, ordering the two pizzas and paying for them with her last few bills that she had with.
"What drinks do you guys want?" Hailee asked as Alex came back.
Alex thought about it, "I'll just get a Mountain dew." She said, tucking her small amount of change away.
"Ugh, so gross," Hailee said, then turned to her brothers. "I know what you guys like. If it's changed, I'll drink it."
She shrugged, "You're not the one drinking it." She grinned and looked around.
Hailee made a mocking face, then got up to buy the drinks. Gabe followed her so that he could carry two of them.
