(Oh my, I didn't think Alice would be leaving ^^; I was reading and hoping for something to happen.)
(Would you like to be Alice? As long as you can keep up and write three or more sentences per response, you're good!)
I'd love to join, if it isn't a problem that I'm not online after 8PM CST and am not able to come online Sundays.
(That should be fine! I tend to be off during the weekend too.)
(In that case, should I stick with the Alice that was already created?)
"To be honest they didn't actually tell me, more like I overheard a conversation." Aloysius rested his head on top of Damon's thankful that the latter couldn't see the slightly worried look in his eyes. "Promise you won't freak out if I tell you it's happening tomorrow?"
Marlowe was sitting on a couch on the other side of the room, her eyes closed. She appeared to be napping at first, but she was, in fact, wide awake. There was no way that she would able to sleep anywhere near the others, so she merely closed her eyes and rested. It was a poor approximation of beauty sleep, but it would do. It was also helpful to listen in on the others when they weren’t speaking too low for her to here. Most of it was quite boring for her, anyway.

(You can create your own Kiddo!)
"I'm not freaking out. I definitely don't think we don't have enough time to prepare and I definitely don't have no place to hide." Damon muttered, sounding almost nonsensical. He knew there was going to be an inspection this month, but he didn't think it would be this soon.
Aloysius seemed to actually be thinking for a moment, humming one singular note as the words tried to form in his brain. "What about hiding under those tiles in my cell? The ones I hollowed out the other month. I don't think the guards ever found out about that." he glanced around the room, it was a lot tidier than it usually was, so it wouldn't take that much cleaning. "I think we have enough time to prepare."
Alice
A.K.A. Robyn was admitted to Wonderland Asylum after pleading guilty but insane for the murders of 5 children. It's not uncommon for the petite brunette to have moodswings and hallucinations due to her Schizophrenia. Her condition also comes with a general distrust of people, ensuring she is quick and alert in bad situations. Brightly colored dresses and an eerie tattoo of a grinning cat near her collar bone make her easy to spot.
(Please let me know if any changes need to be made.)
(She's good! Sorry for ghosting y'all, I had a therapy thing.)

Damon nodded and rested his head against the other's shoulder, sighing. "Thank you, dear." He murmured, pausing a moment as his anxiety and paranoia faded, being replaced with his usual personality. "Now, I do think I am not taking the tea today. You have inspired me darling Caterpillar!"
Robyn had stopped listening to the conversation that was happening in front of her a while ago, rather giving her attention to the voices she had been hearing throughout the day. Their hateful comments didn't hurt as much as they used to: instead, she paid attention to the pitch of the voices, carefully naming each one. The shrillest was named Cynthia, while the quiet, raspy voice she most often heard had been dubbed Dinah. Dinah was undoubtedly the meanest, consistently making demeaning remarks about Robyn's appearance and intellect.
"You're a bit big for that dress, aren't you?"
"Now, I think that's a bit far, Dinah," Robyn said aloud, brow furrowed in a mix of anger and frustration.
"Wasn't aware you've been able to look in a mirror as of recent," Dinah taunted.
Robyn didn't have a response to this, and instead plopped down in a nearby chair as she took up mumbling to herself.
(Ahhhhhh)
A quiet giggling sounded from another corridor, and Dee came running in with Dum a few feet behind here. “Friends!” they shouted together, sprinting to where Robyn was quietly talking to herself. “Good morning!” Dee said shrilly.
The girl in question practically flew out of her chair, snapping out of her trance.
"Good morning," Robyn replied, clearing her throat as she eyed the girls cautiously.
She'd not seen these two yet, but they were already the most interesting ones here, with their childish demeanors.
Marlowe lazily opened one of her eyes at this. “You’re never going to make friends with that look on your face,” she replied. Making comments about people’s appearances was a habit that she had. She flipped her short hair behind her showily.
"Hello, Dee and Dum. How do you do?" Damon leaned his head against Aloysius's chest and turned his colored eyes too the new arrivals. "You arrived later than you normally do." He noted with a purr, glancing over everyone.
"You should know that those two are unpredictable." Aloysius chimed, sighing happily as he held Damon. He tossed the butt of the joint to the side, keeping the smoke inside him for as long as possible before exhaling it out of his nose like a dragon.
Now all he needed to do was wait for an hour to pass and pray that he wouldn't fall into the dark pit of despair like he had earlier. It wasn't a fun experience, for anyone that was near him, and he knew that all he needed to do was somehow chain himself to one spot so he couldn't hurt anyone. Or himself.
"I suppose so, my beautiful butterfly." Damon hummed, adding another pet name to his ever-growing list. He began to trace random words and letters onto Aloysius arms, they probably spelled out something, but his fingers were too quick for anyone to register what they actually said. He's had enough of speaking normally, his brain decided it was time to go back to nonsense. "Though I also suppose the rabbit chases the fox until the fox chases the rabbit back into the rabbit hole."
"Well of course, the most vulnerable creatures are always the most curious." Aloysius closed his eyes while Damon's fingers flowed across his arm, as if almost picturing the words he was trying to write. It was no use, his brain hadn't started its descent into madness yet.
"A beautiful butterfly, huh? That's a new one… Didn't think I was ready for that yet. I mean, I haven't slept for a while so until I do I'm pretty much stuck as a caterpillar."
Never mind.
Damon frowned and pat the other's arm before going back to writing. "Hidden butterfly. Much too beautiful to be stuck as a caterpillar. Little rabbit is little Alice. She thinks she is the fox." He gave a small laugh. "I wonder who is the fox. Is it me, is it you? Or is life itself that will chase our newest addition back into her hole." He was speaking loud enough to be heard throughout the room.
Robyn turned her head in the man's direction, mentally preparing a snide comment (which she decided against).
"Why, whatever do you mean?" She said, twiddling her thumbs. People like this got on her nerves, because in her mind, she was an eagle, waiting to chase both the rabbit and fox into hiding.
A small click at the door stopped Aloysius from saying anything. Only for a second. He pressed two fingers onto Damon's lips and smiled wildly. "Or perhaps it is the Three of Hearts who has come to serve you tea." With those words, the guarded door was unlocked and slowly opened with a groan. One of the guards, whose head for some reason looked like a beating heart, entered with a steel tray in his hands. Atop the tray was a dainty little cup of poison.
Damon gave a dramatic sigh and stood up off of Aloysius's lap gracefully, dragging his feet over to the guard with the tray. His lips turned to a pout as he rolled his eyes and took the cup, inspecting it before frowning deeply. "This is a different cup." Was all he said, glaring at the guard who seemed to cower. "I do understand that perhaps you are new, but different cups are wrong." Damon deeply inhaled before shoving his finger up to the man's chest. "Where. Is. My. Cup." With every word, his finger dug in deeper and deeper.
The wild grin on Aloysius' lips widened, his eyes became equally as wild. He slid up from the chair and slunk behind the guard, curling one leg around the man's to prevent him from walking away. "I wouldn't try to run if I were you, it would only make him angry." he whispered into the guard's ear, purring slightly. "And you don't want to make him angry, do you?"
The guard shook his head frantically and began to stammer. "I don't.. I don't know where your cup is."
Damon blinked, his face furious. He tilted his head towards Aloysius and raised his eyebrows. "Darling? Can I kill him? It's been such a bore around here without any blood to spill." He purred, he was going to do it anyway, but he did like to know what his partner thought. Damon moved his finger up from the man's chest and moved to trace his facial features, humming a eerie tune.
