The third girl may have tried to run away, but well, Tseth had already gotten close enough to her to grab her before she could. This time it was her chance to get shoved against the wall. "Who the hell do you think you are?"

Alex was torn debating between helping Aelin or making sure Daphne was okay. He shook his head. Aelin can handle herself.

He ran over to Daphne, crouching down and helping her lean against the wall. "Hey. My name's Alex. You understand me?" She looked pretty out of it.

Aelin went for the second girl at the same time she decided to attack her again. It became a fist fight very quickly. And she planned on winning.

(When you don’t know how to write fistfights:)
(It’s fine we already established its existence so)

The third girl stared at Tseth for a while, not very sure what to say. “I…” She looked around, clearly not so tough now that she was the one cornered.

Daphne looked up at Alex and flinched away slightly, staring at him anxiously.
“I… I’m Daphne,” She whispered. She blinked a few times, then wedged herself farther into her corner, trying to avoid watching the fights around her. She was pretty much scared of everyone there at the moment.

(Is someone gonna intervene or nah btw)

Tseth glared at her. “If I see you going after anyone ever again, you’ll lose more than your dignity.” He, still ahold of her, shoved her away in the direction she had originally tried to run.

Alex nodded in acknowledgment, essentially ignoring the fighting that was going on around the two of them. “Good to meet you.”

“Are you hurt?”

@the-void-phantasmic language

(I’ll think about it LMAO)

The girl stumbled back, then turned around and ran away. The second girl seemed to notice, shoving Aelin away and running in the same direction.

Daphne looked down and closed her eyes again. She nodded slightly. “A little… it’s not that bad.” That was obviously a lie, she could barely even sit up by herself. She also had a broken nose, really bad bruising, and probably a few cracked ribs.

(That would be the logical thing to do if this is in the modern world)
(Anyway the third girl got thrown to the ground so hard she perished and desintegrated)

Aelin cursed out the girls as they ran.

She had a few bruises, and the punches to the face she got resulted in a busted lip and who knows what else. She wiped the blood off her face and started walking towards Tseth, Daphne, and Alex.

Tseth was only a few feet away from Daphne and Alex, so he was able to catch their conversation. He looked down at Daphne and raised a brow. “No offense, but it looks bad.

@the-void-phantasmic language

(Fair enough)
(I forgot she existed so yes)

Daphne glanced up and glared at Tseth. “I’m fine.” She paused, then stared at the ground again, realizing how harsh that sounded. “Sorry-

What she was really confused about was why they all had helped her. She didn’t even know them that well, they could have easily ignored her…

“Why did you help me?”

Aelin spoke first. “It wouldn’t be very nice to let my roommate get beat up, would it?”

Tseth looked at Daphne and shrugged. “I trust her judgement.” Well, he mostly joined in the fight because Aelin was in it.

Aelin rolled her eyes at Tseth. “You just like to get into fights.” She looked at Daphne again, now a bit concerned. “And you need to go to the nurse’s office.” Which was what she needed to do as well, but Daphne seemed worse off.

“I guess so…” Daphne was still a little confused, but she didn’t press any harder.

She rolled her eyes at Aelin. “I’m still fine. I’ve had worse…” She blinked a few times. That was the one thing she was not supposed to mention at all. Well, shit. “…Nevermind. Let’s just go-“ She quickly stood up, then stumbled and fell again, catching herself on the wall. ”Ow-“

(Shit response ✨✨✨✨)

(petition to get Resh and Tsadi back /j/j)

Aelin’s immediate reaction was to try and reach out to catch her. But Daphne stabled herself, and she quickly brought her hands back to her side. She looked around awkwardly. “I can help Daphne over to the office. I know the way.”

She looked back at Alex, who was now standing along with everyone else. “Had fun catching up, heh.”

Alex regarded her with a small smile. “Yeah. Until next time.”

Daphne stayed completely silent, watching the others. She leaned against the wall, and it was an effort just to stay upright. It was easy to tell, no matter how much she tried to hide the fact.

She was still crying. She hadn’t stopped crying, to be honest. She was just being less obvious about it.

(I’m disappointed in myself (again))

Aelin watched Daphne for a moment. Damn it, comforting people is hard. She hesitated, and then held out a hand. "I can help you away from all the people. And we both need to be. . . We're both hurt." What was the right word for that? Ugh.

Tseth turned around, patting Alex on the shoulder. "Let's go."

As he started walking, Alex looked at him confused for a moment, but quickly starting walking beside him.

Daphne stared at Aelin, then slowly took her hand. She looked down. “Thank you…” She mumbled. I never should have come out here. I should’ve just stayed away from everyone. I should have known something like this might happen- Her grip on Aelin’s hand tightened slightly, but she didn’t notice.
