Thanks for reading all of this, I can't wait to dream up things with you!
Hello!! Could I possibly join?
Here's my sample:
Atlas stood, starstruck. He let go of Nikolas' hand and went up to the railing, resting his elbows on it. Sure, he'd seen the night sky scattered with stars and planets, but that had all been in the city. That held streetlights, cars, houselights, and anything else. But here, it was so… perfect. It felt like every star in the universe was visible. The pond out in front seemed like a hole through the middle of the world, making it possible to see through the other side. Atlas glanced back at Nikolas, a wide, but soft smile on his face. "It's beautiful." He whispered back.
Full Name: Griffin Winford
Age: 19
Sexuality: Gay
Physical Appearance: Griffin stands at 5'7" with a lean, but muscular body. He has reddish-brown hair in a long curtain haircut, It is usually down. He has a sharp jawline, a small scar lining the left side. Freckles scatter his face, mostly concentrated on his cheeks. He has dark brown eyes, gold flecks scattered around them. His skin tans a bit in the summer, dulling in the winter. His ear lobes are pierced with small hoops.
Typical Clothing: Tee-shirts, sometimes slightly cropped tops, tucked into both ripped and not ripped jeans with a small belt and sometimes either a black varsity jacket or a denim jacket. He commonly wears black Converse or black Dr. Marten's boots.
Personality: He may seem shy at a glance, but he just likes to stick to himself in situations where his friends aren't around or he is alone. But when around friends, Griffin is the trouble maker and one of the loudest, most extroverted people. He is an exceptional actor thanks to him acting in school things from a very young age. This makes him good at lying as well. He also started dancing at a young age, being in a kid's dance group. He expresses his emotions a lot, whether it be anger, sadness, or happiness. He only did decent in school so he could do the activities he liked to do, those are his only motivation in school. (I'm still developing him as well so this isn't necessarily exactly how he is.)
Other: Likes to go by Finn or Finley instead of Griffin. He is part of a dance team and loves dance. He also is a theatre nerd and participates in musicals, drama competitions, and drama classes.
( Accepted! I'll get my boy up now! )
Full Name: Archer Moreau
Age (18-20): 18
Sexuality: Bisexual ; he's leaning toward males at the moment.
Physical Appearance: Archer has hazelnut eyes, that appear chocolate in the dark, and more pale in light. He's also got black hair, that drops to his shoulders. It oftentimes attracts the questions, 'What conditioner do you use?' and 'Isn't that girly?'. Archer has bronze skin, with few patches of almost ghostly white skin. It's a thing he was born with. His body is lean, and toned, in a minor way. He's got a birthmark on his thigh that's shaped somewhat like Saturn.
Typical Clothing: Archer commonly wears band tee-shirts, and underneath them, a black and white striped long sleeve shirt. Along with that, he wears a branded jacket, always left open, and dark jeans. His shoes are navy canvas shoes. His socks, if ever seen, are always eccentric, but match, in an odd sense.
Personality: Archer is a ladies' man, but doesn't really like them much right now. He seems to be able to attract anything, it's insane how things worked the way they do for him. He's actually compassionate, despite his Narcissistic outside. He loves himself, but he loves making people happy even more. In private, Archer could be thought of as thoughtful, loving, caring. He wants to make sure that his friends are as happy as he.
Other: He gives everyone a nickname, regardless of who they are. He's also got an older brother, Dominic, who appears everywhere he does.
(Thank you! So you ready to start? It would be great if you started.)
( Of course. Apologies for the wait, I can't come on sometimes. )
Archer glanced at his phone, and wondered a lot of things. He wondered what he was going to do while all of the world's couples kissed up on each other, and if he even belonged on the day after this one. Tomorrow was Valentine's Day, and as far as he was concerned, he was lonely. He glanced at a few phone numbers. Should he shoot his shot at one, maybe even just hang out as friends with one of the contacts? He pulled his hair and sighed. "This is complicated,"
(No need to worry, I understand!)
Of course Valentine's Day just had to be tomorrow. In all of his 19 years of life, Finn has never had a Valentine. Obviously, his parents and grandparents gave him Valentine's gifts, but that's different. He wanted a 'real' Valentine this year but the holiday just snuck up on him so there probably wasn't a chance anymore. He lied on his bed face up to the ceiling.
"Yo, Dominic," Archer shouted, as the words echoed around his silent house. Another guy, that looked almost identical to him, walked into the room. "Yeah, Arch?" Dominic asked, with a tilt of his head. "Choose one of these people and ask them to spend Val's Day with me." Archer said, with a little bit of demand. He tossed the phone to Dominic, who in turn, began to type a message out to the chosen person. 'Hey there, I'm lonely this Valentine's Day, would you want to spend it with me?' A sent sound. The message got sent, to Finn.
( Thanks! I guess they were friends before then, if that makes any sense. Also, Arch and Dom are twins, lol. )
(What if they were decent friends in one school, but one of them moved to another school in the same town and they don't talk much anymore?)
The phone that had been resting in Finn's hand buzzed. The instant he felt the buzz, he raised his hand and checked what it was. To his very happy surprise, someone had texted him. And to even more surprise, someone wanted to spend Valentine's day with him. But why Archer? He was confused, he hadn't seen that guy in forever, it felt like. 'lol same here, tbh I'm always lonely. But sure… what makes you wanna hang out with me after so long?' He reread the text then sent it, resting his arms back on the bed.
( Interesting! Honestly that sounds wonderful! )
Archer looked at the reply, and felt rather elated by it. Dominic had chosen Finn, of all people in the world. 'Well, you see, Dom got elected to send a message to someone, and it just so happened to be you. I miss you a little bit, though.' Archer replied. His face got a little red after he sent it. Was it odd that he was suddenly here? He couldn't tell. He only knew that Dominic chose this person, and he had to live with it.
Finn had started imagining different scenarios in his head of what could happen on Valentine's Day, most of which he wanted to happen. He soon felt his phone buzz, though. He smiled, thinking about how close they used to be… then how at one point, he had feelings for Archer. It made him blush a bright pink, making him glad he was alone. 'Oh, I see, Dom's always the one elected when you can't decide.' He sent it and smiled. They were already talking like they hadn't even left. 'I also miss you… maybe more than just a little bit. We used to be so close and now we aren't. I wish I never moved schools, to be fair it wasn't mu fault though.' Without a second thought, he sent the next text. His memories were going back through his head, a soft smile still set on his lips.
Archer shuddered at the memory of Finn's departure. He could clearly see the look on Finn's face before he had to turn away for good. "Oh, Finn…" He whispered, to himself. 'Haha. It's been so long, Finn, so, so long. I've longed to see your smile again.' He typed. He bit his lip as he sent it, it sounded a lot like flirting and he didn't know if Finn would like it. He closed his eyes as he waited on a reply, afraid of what he would see. The moment was too full of self-created suspense.
( Good morning, love the pfp! How are you? )
(Omg thank you! I literally love Yurio so much lol. I'm pretty good! I finally finished a school project so that's always nice. What about you?)
Finn smiled, even more, when he read Archer's text. "I'm sure you have…" He whispered, with a chuckle. Well… I've longed to see you. He sent that, suddenly losing any confidence he had. What made him say that? And why now? Of all times and places, out of nowhere Archer texts him, after years of not seeing each other. If they still had each other's numbers, why did they even stop talking in the first place? Um… so do you wanna meet up tomorrow?
( Yurio's a freaking ANGEL. Well I feel better than yesterday, literally was sick to death- )
'Of course we can, Finn. How about we start off at the cafe we first went to, and go on from there?' Archer asked. He re-read Finn's message over and over again. "Why would you long to see me, you idiot? You know I get shy," He said, softly. He couldn't help but laugh, closing his eyes as he did so. He hoped the other didn't wait on him to message him the whole time. He didn't know how to apologize if it came up.
(I'm actually drawing some Yurio fanart and I'm so excited about it lol. Oh man, that's rough, sorry to hear. But at least you're feeling a bit better!)
'YAYY! See you tomorrow then?' Finn wiggled a little as he sent it, suddenly really excited. There go his plans of going to the grocery store and getting Valentine's candy for himself and eating them in his room. He would definitely prefer to go hang out with his old best friend. he started wondering how he was even able to stop talking to Archer. At one point they were inseparable, then basically their friendship went down the drain.
( Yoo can I see when it's done? :):) )
'Of course, of course, Finn. And may the day be memorable.' Archer typed. It sounded a little bit like a prayer, maybe even a wish. He didn't care, he sent it anyways. Dominic peeked his head around the corner, only to see Archer excitedly squealing to himself, with a slightly red face. "Dang, are you two gonna need supervision or something tomorrow?" He asked, with a minuscule smirk. "N-no way, Dom. Get a life." Archer said, with a laugh.
(Oh definitely!! I was already planning on showing you actually!! :)
'Well if we're reunited it'll be nothing but memorable.' Finn replied. He wiggled a bit in excitement, quickly looking around, slightly embarrassed. Thankfully for him, no one was there, they might think he actually had a boyfriend or a Valentine this year. In a sense, he had a Valentine but he saw it as just two friends hanging out.
( Yo, going through a bunch of shit right now. How are you? )
'You're right,' Archer sent back, thinking about what Finn had said. 'I just hope that we don't get really stuffed. For some reason I eat too much on the 14th of Feb.' He added, with a laugh. His smile was so wide, it seemed as if everything was coming together for him. He wondered how things would play off, and imagined a few scenarios.
(Awee that's rough! I'm sorry about that. I'm pretty good though. I got a physical album of one of my favorite artist's and it's absolutely beautiful lol.)
'I mean… anyone who's lonely on valentines day probably stuffs themselves in chocolate and food they buy for themselves. I know I do that since I'm forever alone apparently.' Finn texted, laughing a little. He had sat up to make it easier to text Archer. Staring at the wall in front of him, he started to imagine what could happen. He was always one to think of a way to argue back at someone or imagine things he wanted to happen before the perfect time for said situations. 'Oh, what time to meet tomorrow? I just remembered to ask lol. Don't want to have one of us wait for like an hour or something.'
( Lucky, lucky. )
'How about like, 10:00 or something? Oh, and I have a feeling I'll give you something better than chocolates to stuff yourself with.' Archer tried to flirt, for the first time in what seemed like forever. 'I uh, not that something.' He added, with a flustered tone. He wasn't used to little romantic words, so that was something extreme for him.
Finn giggled as he read Archer's text. 'Ah man, now I feel obligated to give you something as well…' He replied, reading Archer's text again. His face flushed a subtle pink.
"Ey Finn?" Yelled his 17-year-old sister, Hailey, as she barged into his room. Quickly, he powered off his phone and threw it onto the bed. "You passed with an 'A' in science, right? Well, I don't care if you did or not, I need your help." Hailey continued as she walked over to Finn's bed. She sat down and turned to him, he eyebrows furrowing as she noticed his blush. Her eyes then widened and a sly smile grew on her face. "Do you… have a boyfriend perhaps for Valentine's Day?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.
Finn jumped back a little, his face growing a bit redder. "No! No, I don't have a boyfriend… not yet at least." He said mumbling the last part to himself.
"Ah, I don't believe you, but whatever, can you help me?"
Archer read Finn's message and snickered to himself. He wondered exactly what Finn was going to do, if that obligation hit him hard enough. He typed out something that sounded good to him, and sent it, unaware of the other's situation. 'Don't feel that way, Finn. Your company will soothe me enough,' He sent. He pulled his hair a little bit, and groaned. "Geez, now I made him feel like he has to do something,"
"If you make fun of me like that, I definitely won't but, no I'm still not gonna help you. Why don't you ask that guy you're so infatuated with? And in any case, you'll just have me give you the answer. And if all else fails, there's always Google. So-" Finn was saying when he heard the buzz of his phone. He quickly grabbed it and saw the notification, smiling as he saw that it was from Archer. But a second later he looked up at his sister, she had a knowing look on her face and just left his room without saying anything else.
As Archer thought about his memories with Finn, a loud rumble interrupted his thoughts, He got up for a second, and walked out of his room, to the fridge. He noticed he hadn't eaten in a few hours, and that frustrated him a little bit. Archer grabbed whatever he felt in the mood for, a cheese stick, some packaged turkey, and three slices of bread. "Careful, Arch, you'll have the whole kitchen eaten if you keep stressing out." Dominic called, from inside the livingroom.
