“So rude.” She huffs and rolls her eyes at him. Turning, she flops her legs across his and leans her shoulder against his. “We gotta do something other than just sit here.” She had grown sick of sitting on the floor the second the card game ended.
(Okay, so I have a dental procedure on Monday at about 10:30 and I won’t be back til 12:30ish but since it’s a surgery and I’ll have to take pain killers I don’t know if I’ll be on at all. Just thought I should give ya a heads up.)

Cameron rubbed her arm gently as he drank from the bottle. "Well, maybe we could go back up when we're done with this." He finished how much he wanted and gave it back to her. He hummed softly, still rubbing her shoulder.

Ava accepts the bottle from him with a happy hum. Glancing down at the contents, she considers it. There isn’t very much left so she may as well finish it. “I won’t protest that.” Leaning into his touch, she polishes off the bottle and sets it off to the side.
(Well if you're a girl I don't think you're gonna have a lot of problems. women aren't affected by general anesthesia and painkiller like men are. I would know. I had eight teeth removed and i was just a little woozy)
"Mmm…" Now he was delightfully buzzed. He stood up again with a stumble, then sat back on the bed with a grunt. He tugged her after him and just placed her on his lap, relaxing his head on her shoulder with a sigh.
(Yeah, that’s what the dentist said. I’m just not fond of getting my teeth looked at in general so I’m dreading this. When I was younger I had like three of my teeth pulled because of my small mouth but the numbing shots didn’t work too well so I could feel most of it. I’m mostly worried about a repeat with that.)
With a quiet grumble, she climbs to her feet and let’s him pulls her up on his lap. “Much better than the floor.” She leans heavily against him, pushing him down so that they’re both laying, her still partially on top of him.
(oof. If you're going to an actual oral surgeon you should be fine. Just ask if they have an anesthesiologist present before the surgery. They'll make sure that you're out. I read up on what it's like, and there's a very slim chance of you not going out under anesthesia. It is super scary at first because they put a mask on you and give you an IV, but as soon as you're out, you're out. I don't remember anything except for him telling me that he was administering the anesthesia, and moments later I was blacked out.)
Cameron's hands moved to her back and pulled her up so she was on his chest, and he was rubbing her back slowly. "It is, hm?" He wasn't as tired as he was earlier, just very aware of her on his chest as he gazed at her.
(I mean this isn’t my first surgery (only one before this) but it is my first dental surgery. The woman who’ll be doing the procedure is great and I like her but I’ve only met her twice. Luckily, I got a prescription for some meds that’ll help me relax before the thing. I take ‘em before I leave the house and then when I get to the place I get some shots and then I should just blank out. That’s what I’ve been told anyways.)
Ava stretches out and makes herself comfortable. Nuzzling his neck affectionately, she enjoys the feeling of him rubbing her back. “Very much so.” She looks up at him and offers a happy and relaxed smile.
(Oh okay so it's not general anesthesia you're going under? It might be something else, because I needed an IV line for mine. Weird but okay. Also ye that's how it should work. At least you get ice cream. I got a big doggy plush after my surgery that I still have and love .3.)
Cameron met her gaze and smiled back, just as relaxed and happy. He ran his fingers into the nook of her back, slipping his hand under her shirt to warm up his hands and rub her skin. He had no idea how she was so warm all the time.
(No but I wish it was. That would make me stress out a whole lot less. Yeah, ice cream is definitely a plus. I absolutely love ice cream, apple sauce, and jello so at least I have that to look forward to lol Aw, a big dog plush sounds so sweet!)
Ava sighs happily as she presses a few kisses to his jaw and neck. Moving her hand up, she starts to play with his hair. It’s a weird feeling for her but she feels relaxed and yet euphoric. There’s probably a word for it but she’s not going to worry herself with figuring out what it is.

Cameron hummed softly, shutting his eyes and still rubbing small circles into her back. He tilted his head to gaze at her, smiling drunkenly. “You’re very pretty, you know.” He ran a hand along her cheek, sighing happily.
(I’ll just be happy when it’s over with and I’m eating ice cream on the couch lol)
Ava studies him for a moment, just taking in all of his features. It blurs for a moment but a quick shake of her head clears everything up. “You’re very pretty too.” A smile flickers across her face at his words. Running her fingers through his hair, she lightly rubs his neck with her thumb.

Cameron hummed softly, looping his fingers with hers and sitting up a little for a kiss. He relaxed back down with her once he took her lips, holding her back gently so she was secure against him. He wanted to kiss her really bad since they were alone in the room. His drunkenness just pushed him to do it.
Ava let’s out a quiet but happy hum as she kisses him back. This is nice. It’s finally just the two of them. No barking dogs or ringing phones or any of the other million interruptions they usually have to deal with. Giving his hand a light squeeze, she just enjoys this moment. Well, as much as she can in her less than sober state.
Cameron pulled away after a few moments, licking his lips. “You taste like vodka. Do you want me to play some music for us? It’s too quiet.” He was thinking along the same lines as her when it came down to noise. He liked the lack of interruptions but the silence got to him.
Ava makes a small noise of protest when he pulls away. “So do you. It probably has something to do with the two bottles we just drank.” A smile crosses her face as she let’s out a quiet laugh. “Music would be great. Where’s your phone? I’ll hand it to you.” She’s hoping that neither of them will have to get up because she’s more than happy where she is.
Cameron laughed and felt around the bed, thinking. “I think it’s in my pocket. I put it back there after we… we got back,” He said. He sounded rather unsure as he checked his pockets. “Oh, damn, it might be in my back pocket. Why the fuck do I do that?” He moved up a little, trying to nudge it out, and once he finally did, he held it up triumphantly.
Ava considers this for a moment. She’s laying on top on him so she would feel the phone in his pocket, right? The idea of it being in his back pocket makes much more sense. At least one of them is keeping up with their phone. She has no idea where hers is. “Good job, Cam!” With an uncharacteristic giggle, she kisses his cheek.
Cameron grinned toothily and started on a playlist of music they both liked, setting his phone aside.
“Much better. Now, c’mere, I’m not done.” He pulled her in for another kiss, wrapping his arms around her neck and rolling over so they were on their sides.
Ava nods her head in approval once she recognizes the playlist. They have fairly similar tastes in music.
“Mm, I love this song.” She shifts around a little now that she’s on her side. Kissing him back, her hand goes right back to playing with the crazily curly hair that she loves so much.
Good for them, because Cameron didn’t want to bother fighting over music. He wanted to kiss and love his lovely fiancée. He kissed her for a bit before pulling away, pressing other kisses to her cheeks and chin, humming faintly with the song. He slowly moved his lips down to her neck to join his hands, kissing her gently.
Ava keeps the one hand in his hair but moves the other to cup the side of his face, her thumb gently stroking his cheek. Not wanting to be away from him for even a second, she scoots forward and presses herself up against him, getting as close as possible without getting in the way. Goosebumps dart along her body when he kisses her neck.
His hands drifted down and held her hips steady for her, realizing that this would be around the time that Kreja interrupted them. Or was it later? Cameron couldn’t remember, and his care for the subject of being interrupted melted away as he kissed and nibbled around her neck. His hands rubbed circles into her skin, shutting his eyes a little.
Tilting her head to the side to expose her neck more, her eyes flutter shut. This is the first time in a very long time they’ve had without one of the dogs interrupting. She loves them to death but she’s glad to have some time away. Sighing happily, she presses a couple of kisses along his jaw.
Cameron ran his lips up her skin, covering every part of her neck. He could feel the occasional scar or two on her neck, but otherwise he went all around. He pulled up when he felt her on his jaw, tilting his head a little in the slightest. He loved kisses to his neck. It was a whole different feeling from Ava that he loved.
