hey fellas

this is an open on on one, and maybe we'll add more but i dunno.

so basically, you get to pick the theme! pick one of your characters, or i can provide a template for a new one.

my rules are pretty simple

-explicit violence is allowed as long as you warn me
-don't abandon for days at a time
-i dont mind occasional one sentence responses, but dont do only one sentence responses.
-everything else is free for all

neat okay. do i need to make you a template or can i have the link to your character? i'd like to see who'd suit them best

@ElderGod-Carrots

Here he is

Name: Kyle ‘Kai’ Rurrow
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Appearance: tall and well built, muscular from excessive training but like… not ripped if you know why I mean. On the paler side and has a slight tan in the summer months, soft and shortish black hair that is always messy and looks like he has constantly run his hand through it from agitation, dull blue, icey eyes.
Personality: Level headed, loyal to the few he cares about. Will be kind to those who deserve it, mainly kids, the poor and other innocents. He is a hard working student studying forensic science. He isn’t introverted but he isn’t extroverted either. He is kind and caring unless he dislikes you. Hates the rich and the snobbish. Can fight and will fight is he needs too. Hot headed at times, perfectionist, intelligent.
Powers: Can control/create ice and snow- Elsa but in male form pretty much.
Background: Kyle was abandoned on the streets as a young child, given off to a homeless Cuban woman when he was about three years old (He ended up learning how to speak both Spanish and English because of her background) His parents already had two older children, teenagers, and they didn’t want another child so they dropped him. They were very rich and snobbish from what Kyle learnt about them in later years.
He took to learning an education from studying in the local library for many years before he eventually got a job. The woman who was looking after him died when he was about 10 and he lived on the streets for another five years before he was put into foster care. He went to school and was surprisingly more intelligent then a lot of kids there. He was a subject of bullying and harassment, he also developed depression, anxiety and took to self harm during these final years at school. Has tried to commit suicide twice.

The chilly, almost freezing winter's air nipped at any of Kyle’s exposed skin as he walked down the street towards the middle of town. Even though his black over sized jumper was warm and kept him nice and toasty when he was inside, he couldn’t say the same when he was outdoors.
You would think that in this weather, it was the middle of winter when in reality it only just started, and it was obviously close to Christmas for that matter, with the fairy lights strung up between trees that had no leaves adorning them. Stores had lights of their own up, twinkling in the late afternoon, early evening light. It was only five thirty and yet it was nearly completely dark. Families strolled around trying to make their way home as quickly as possible, hoping to get out of this chill as soon as they could. The thought of a warm fire and a hot meal was very pleasing to Kyle and it made him walk faster. His shoes crunched over the ice, but the sound barely registered over the hum of activity in the center of town.
Kyle blended in easily with all the other people mining down the street. His mess of black hair fell down over face, his blue eyes keeping to the floor ahead. His bag was strung over one shoulder, holding all of his collage notes, phone and laptop. If he lost those he'd probably try and dig his grave again, praying that no one stopped him this time.
A gust of wind nearly knocked him off his feet as he stumbled a few steps and knocked into someone, “S-Sorry!”

amrua had been lurking around the streets of the town, shivering hard and wondering where to go. his friends had all gone home for christmas… wherever that was, and amrua was left alone.
he noticed the families, window shopping and hurrying their young across the streets, and felt a deep pang somewhere in his ribs. he smothered the feeling quickly, but a sour grimace remained on his face.
he was finally making his way to his apartment when someone crashed into him, squeaking out a "s-sorry!"

he, being a short and skinny bitch, was knocked to the cold ground, onto his knees. he made a soft noise of displeasure, hand immediately flying his his bad knee.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry sir." Kyle bit his lip, and held out his hand for the other man to take. Great, now he felt really guilty, just what he needed right now. Snow started to drift aimlessly around them, children starting to play in the snowflakes, which causing Kyle to crack a small smile.

he hissed in displeasure, shocks and waves of pain jolting through his knee and hip. after a second, amrua noticed the hand and gratefully took it. he was surprisingly light, struggling to his feet quickly and preening slightly. his pupils had contracted, leaving… slits?
before anyone could focus on it, he shook his head and responded softly. "it's alright, it's alright, i suppose. are you okay?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle nodded, running a hand through his hair before slipping it into his pocket. He stepped backwards just a little to give the other space, and himself, "I'm fine, don't worry," He smiled down at the other before it turned into a small frown, "You sure you're okay? It was quite a fall…"

exactly as the annoyance-tinged "i'm quite fine, thank you." reached amrua's mouth, his knee gave out. it sent him sprawling. a few civilians glared and scuffled away, other sending sympathetic looks, but ultimately not interfering. a long groan was voiced from his spot on the ground, as well as a huff as he tried, and failed, to get up.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle sighed, smothering a frown as he once again held out his hand for the other to take, “You don’t seem ‘fine,’ sir.” He said, keeping his eyes trained on the man on the ground. There was something intriguing about him, and he wanted to finding out why.

amrua begrudgingly took kyle's hand, struggling for longer this time around. his knee refused to cooperate, and his face was quickly reddening as he used kyle as a prop.
"well of course i don't seem fine, but i swear i-i swear i have a handle on this! i'll be okay if i could just get my damn knee to hold my weight!"
his voice was quivering, and anyone within a mile could tell he was in pain. after a good while of heavy breathing and adjusting, he sighed with a sort of finality.
"i'm…sorry. if you could accompany me to that alleyway, i can sit there and you can be off."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle rolled his eyes, hooking Amrua’s arm around his neck, “I’m not leaving you in an alleyway alone. There’s a bench over there and I’ll sit with you until you’re fit to walk again, okay?” He slowly led him over to a bench not too far away. It sat under a tree, white fairy lights twinkling in the darkness. Kyle slowly sat Amrua down before he sat next to him, placing his bag by his feet.

amrua unknowingly gave a pitiful expression, all snark and fire gone. he picked his words carefully, eventually giving a small, wavering "thank you…"
after a minute of controlled breathing with his eyes screwed shut, he relaxed and cracked his eyes. they had appeared dull brown in the gray winter air, but under the fairy lights, he opened his eyelids to reveal pools of molten gold. his unsettling, glittering beauty was also revealed, but his tired expression and dark circles set it off oddly.

"thank you so much. i usually just… fall. in public. it's rather undignified to drag yourself to the nearest stoop on your hands and one knee."

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I can imagine,” Kyle sighed, watching the snow drifted aimlessly around them. He watched families walk happily past, minding their own business and smiling without a care in the world, “I’m Kyle, by the way. It;s nice to meet you.”
