She blushed.
She blushed.
"Hey," he spoke, looking back to her. "Do you like to hike?"
"Yes!" she chirped.
"I know some good spots," Atlas suggested.
"A-Are you… asking me on another date?"
"Yeah," he smiled again. He seemed a lot more comfortable with the idea now.
She grinned. "I'd love to go hiking with you!"
"Good," he breathed in happily.
She smiled shyly.
He shuffled closer and rest an arm around her shoulders.
She leaned against him and smiled.
"My dad," Atlas began with a brisk laugh, "My dad told me if I didn't come home without kissing you at least once, then it was a waste of a twenty-dollar ticket,"
She looked up at him shyly. "Oh…"
He brushed his black hair back, "I've never kissed anyone before."
"Neither have I," she said softly.
Atlas unlocked his car, and opened the passenger door for her. "Well, we wouldn't want this date to be a waste, yeah..?"
"Yeah," she said quietly, slipping into the car.
He kept the door open, something was brewing behind his eyes.
She blushed. "Y-You can shut the door now," she whispered.
Atlas shut the door, and moved around the front, and sat in the driver's seat. But he didnt take the wheel, yet.
"Atlas?" she asked, touching his arm gently. "Is something wrong?"
He looked over at her. Those black eyes softened, glanced down her legs, back to her face. Thinking.
"Atlas?" she asked again.
He rubbed his knee, then lifted a palm to her cheek. And kissed her.
Kallie gasped and a bolt of lightning struck through the cloudless sky a little while away.
