Anthony grunted, his eyes flicking over the amount on the slip of paper. After a moment, he pocketed it, giving a nod. “If I do a good job…. with what, exactly?”

Alec’s POV
Alec did a fist pump. “Yes, alright, so where were they seen last? Are you going to take my cuffs off, scouts honor I won’t escape… at least until we find your friend.”
Winston’s POV
“Completing your assignments and behaving.” The man emphasized the second word, glaring at the grotesques around the room.
Winnie didn’t even look up from Samuel, goofing off a bit by altering the brightness on his hands.
(My discord is glitching, btw)
Anthony’s POV
Anthony snorted, leaning back against the wall. “Define ‘behaving’.”
Meanwhile, Samuel rolled onto his back like a puppy, his togue lolling from his mouth.
Ae-Ri’s POV
“No, she said bluntly, “Cuffs stay on until we get where we need to be.”
Opals POV
Opals face blush to a bright scarlet shade as her stomach let out a grumble that would have shamed Godzilla. She looked to Sienna, “Maybe we could head to a restaurant next?”
(Alright, i see your message Topaz)
Winston’s POV
Winnie slipped out of his chair, kneeling the floor to reach Samuel better.
“That’s specified on page 7.” The man pulled the paper out of the file. “It’s been written with your abilities and record in mind.” He replied flatly, sliding it over to Remedy. “Firefly! Sit down!” The man snapped at Winston.
A loud thump followed by a quiet whine could be heard as Winnie tried to get up too fast and bashed his head off the table.
((That sucks Topaz! I’m sorry!))

Sienna’s POV
Sienna laughed lightly, grabbing Opal’s hand. “I know the perfect place down town. Do you trust me, Opal?”
Alec’s POV
Alec smile turned playfully pouty. “Aww, are sure we can’t take them off now, or at least one of them?” He followed her out of the building. “Or at least tell me where we’re headed?”

Anthony’s POV
Anthony scanned the sheet, giving a curt nod. “Fine, sounds good. Is there anything else you need from me, sir? You know the one thing I will not give.”
Opals POV
“I, uh,” Opal started reluctantly, unsure of what to say. Did she trust Pasithea? Or didn’t she? She changed her answer. “I will trust you, but only if you trust me. What is your real name, Pasithea?”
Winston’s POV
“We’re aware.” The man grumbled. Winston looked in between the two, confused. Am I missing something? He rubbed the red spot on his head with a soft whine, reaching his hand down discreetly to continue petting Samuel.

Sienna’s POV
“My name? On the first date? Darling, you must be mistaken.” Sienna teased airily. “You already know it, anyways.”
Opals POV
Opal blushed again, trying to keep control of her emotions. “Alright, I’ll call you Pasithea.” She said softly, her mind still swirling. Does she think that we’re on a date? Is she just saying that to tease me?
Sienna’s POV
“Good.” She lightly tugged at Opal’s arm. “How do you feel about Mexican food?” She prompted with a smile.
Opals POV
“That’s sounds good to me.” Opal said, the thought of food interrupting her downsporal of thoughts.
Alec’s POV
Alec smile turned playfully pouty. “Aww, are sure we can’t take them off now, or at least one of them?” He followed her out of the building. “Or at least tell me where we’re headed?”
Ae-Ri's POV
Ae-Ri ignored the infuriating criminal's questions as Mission Control fed her information; where Opal had last been sighted, where she was heading. "Alright…." she muttered to herself, pulling Alec through a sidestreet.
Winston’s POV
“We’re aware.” The man grumbled. Winston looked in between the two, confused. Am I missing something? He rubbed the red spot on his head with a soft whine, reaching his hand down discreetly to continue petting Samuel.
Anthony's POV
His name—that was the one thing he would never give. No one knew him as Anthony Hemlock, the boy who'd mysteriously gone missing along with his brother on the night his mother was murdered, and he preferred to keep it that way. If need be, he'd use a fake name. But his real name? Never.
Anthony nodded curtly at the man, tugging idly at his shirtsleeves. "Good."
Alecs POV
Alec followed her a little bit, before deciding to start questioning her again. “Okay, so far I’ve been good. So does that mean I can at least know where we’re going? Or take of the cuffs, I mean we haven’t known eachother two hours and your still bringing me around in chains. It’s a little embarrassing, and you’re the one getting stares.” He said, hoping she would at least drop the chains. “ I promise I won’t run away until after we find your friend.”
Ae-Ri's POV
Ae-Ri let out a tiny growl of frustration, clenching her free hand into a first. "You know what GameGo is? They ere last seen around there. And fine, I'll take off your cuffs in a bit, but know that a single wrong step will result in the most horrible illusion you can imagine, and more."
Alecs POV
“I’ll trust you there, and yes I know GameGo, who hasn’t been to GameGo.” Alec looked around. “ I think we’re like 5 minutes away. But until then, what should I call you? At the very least your hero name.”
Ae-Ri's POV
"Mirage," she responded shortly, pausing to cautiously unlock and slide the cuffs from his wrists. "And no, before you ask, I'm not taking off my helmet so you can see what I look like."
“That’s sounds good to me.” Opal said, the thought of food interrupting her downsporal of thoughts.
Sienna’s POV
“You’ll love this place then.” Sienna walked surprisingly fast considering she was in high heels, leading Opal out of the mall.
Winston’s POV
“Then sign.” The man couldn’t see to care less about anything other than the signature on that paper. Winston wasn’t even sure to be more intimidated by. At the moment, it was definitely the man who had debriefed him. He looked like he’d break Winnie in half for fun.
Anthony's POV
"Patience is a virtue," he muttered under his breath, but plucked the pen from the desk he'd deposited it on, signing with a flourish. "Happy?"
The man simply nodded, taking the sheet and getting up, quickly leaving the room. Winnie was a bit awed by how Anthony signed his name so neatly. “How’d you do that?” He asked quietly, looking up from Samuel.
